what's up everybody my name is Ashwin and welcome back to this video series where we are making our very first website completely from scratch now if you are here for the very first time and let me tell you this is video number seven in this beginner lecture series where we are making our very first website it is the bigness series where I am covering all basics if you want you can click on that I button and you can watch that videos and for those of you who want to know what we are going to do in this video let me quickly tell you as I promised I am going to tell you how I design all this beautiful opt-in forms and I design this kind of opt-in forms or side widget inside of my website and moreover I am also going to cover how you can design this kind of sticky side widgets and this kind of inline opt-in forms which will trigger when you click on those I guess this is going to be pretty much interesting videos for my new website designers so without further ado let's get started alright guys we are in backend of our website let me first show you how our website is looking like right now so when I click on this visit site option it will take us to our current website and so here is our website we can see it is pretty much basic till now we have our menu we have our side widgets and we have our forces so after this video what we will see we will see a site opt-in bar right here and we can also see some of our inline opt-in forms inside of this website so how we are going to do this we are going to use a plugin which is called thrive leads to do this inside of our website so there is a link in this description if you want you can click on that link and it will take you to this page so it's an affiliate link if you want to buy from that link it won't cost you any extra money but it will give me a small commission if you decide to buy from my link so anyways what is thrive leads thriving is a plug-in which helped us to design this beautiful opt-in forms and you can design all kind of pop-ups exit pop-ups and inline opt-in forms everything which you see I am doing inside of my website right now or you saw right before this video was all made through thrive leads now I know this is a big nerve video and you don't want to invest any kind of money and in most cases you don't even need to do that but in my personal experience I have tried many plugins and kind of free alternative or any other paid plugins which were low in cost but I haven't found any alternative for thrive leads the kind of power it brings to your website is unmatchable right now at least not in my opinion if you know any kind of plugin which is free and which is more powerful or even similar to thrive leads you can comment below and let me know I will be definitely using those plugins and making video tutorials on those plugins and for those of you who are really really tight on their budget let me show you something which I call a ninja secret now pay attention right here what I'm about to share with you I have a thriving subscription I have a element of pro subscription I have a Bluehost service package I have a side round package I have a breezy Pro subscription I have an inverter element subscription and each of this subscription I have and I haven't invested a single dime from my pocket now how many of you want to know how I'm doing this I guess probably each and every one watching this video want to know how I am doing this I'm getting each of this subscription without paying a dime so if you are doing any other thing stop it and listen up I learn this concept from Robert Kiyosaki where he talks a lot about OPM other people's money so what happened is a I think back in last September I had a client who wanted me to design his subscription of a tool which I want to use on your website not for even my projects I'm asking him to buy a tool or a subscription package of a plug-in which I want to use in their website to make their website look even more beautiful so this was an amazing offer for them right so this was some kind of irresistible offer they are not ever going to reject this kind of offer that I am making their website for free I'm not even charging them for any kind of future editing and I am not even charging any kind of fees on their hosting services so they were happily any kind of subscription package to any plug-in which I'm asking them to buy now at this point some of you might be thinking now a shoo-in but at least you are paying for the hosting right how you're making their website for that plug-in so this is kind of my ninja hack which I'm using to get each and every plugin for absolutely free of course and for those of you who have really really tight budget what you can do you can learn through this tutorials and you can go out there and ask for someone to make their website and you can do this again and again and again and you can have your system where you are making a website for free and they are buying you a plug-in which you want to use for other project and you can charge much more to your next client so anyways back to this video tutorial you have to use thrive leads to do all that so we will be using thrive leads so let me show what is the pricing of thrive lead if you click on this button it will take you to pricing I guess so it will take you to this page where you can buy thrive leads now look here very carefully when you buy a package of 147 dollars you're going to get 15 license right you are going to get 15 license means you can use this plug-in to 15 different project or 15 different websites and if you buy a $97 project sorry 997 dollar plan you are going to use this in five websites and if you want to use for your single project or if you have a client who is ready to pay for thrive leaves you can ask them to buy a $67 package no but the most important thing is when you scroll down you have another option where you can become a member of tri themes and for just $19 a month you're going to get each and every plugins for 25 different websites so in case you're wondering what you're going to get inside of this package I am NOT going to cover in this video I will be making a separate video on this topic and will be linking in and we'll be linking it to I button or I will be linking it to the description box for now if you want to buy this plugin you can buy from here or you can always use a ninja hack which I just told you and you can use other people's money so right now you can buy any of this package I have already bought it so I will be uploading it to my this tutorial website for doing that you have to go back to this plugin option and click on add new and from here what we are going to do is we are going to upload a plug-in by clicking on this upload plug-in option and then we have to choose a file and I will be selecting our thrive lead option I guess it's in my download folder when I downloaded it right here and I will click on this open option and we'll click on this Install Now and it will what this will do is you can see right here if we just focus right here you can see it is uploading so you have to wait for those of you who are using WordPress for very first time and uploading plug-in like this it may seem like nothing is happening but actually it is happening if you see right below of this screen you can see we are uploading our plug-in 37 percent 41 percent and this way it will upload so I will be pausing this video and will show you after this plug-in has been uploaded completely now once plug-in has been uploaded successfully you will get this page where WordPress will ask you to activate this plug-in now before you do any kind of this activity inside of your website it will be really generous to take a backup of your website if anything goes wrong you can switch back easily but for now I will be clicking on this activate plug-in option and it will activate thrive leads inside of our this website now once you have activated that plug-in you will be taken to this page and from here you can start designing inside of thrive leads so let me show you what options we get inside of thrive leads so you have to click on this thrive dashboard option from here you will get this thrive lead option but for the first time I want you to go to this thrive dashboard now from here very first thing which I want you all to do is you want to connect your email autoresponder to your thrive leads so that when you collect an email address it is directly taken to your email autoresponder for doing that you have to click on this manage API connections and you have to click this button right here and from here you can integrate whichever email autoresponder you are using by clicking on this add new connections and you can select a drop-down menu in my case I am using a free email autoresponder which is mail alight and you can click on this Miller Lite option it's it's a beautiful email autoresponder I have been using it for years this is my third account with them and it's a fresh account which I will be using for all tutorial purposes there's a link in this description you can you can click on that link it's an affiliate link by the way and I won't be getting any kind of Commission's out of it if you are using it for digna purposes if you have more than thousand email lists I'm going to get a bit of commission and this will take you to this page where you can create an account for now you have to get your API is for for connecting your mail alight account to this thrive lead dashboard for doing that you have to go here you have to click this drop down option and you have to click on integrations when you click on that integration options from there we are going to get our aps then you will get this option you have to click on this use and you are going to get your developer API which we are going to paste inside of our thrive leads dashboard then copy this API key click here and click here and paste this API connection and then simply hit this connect button right here now what this will do is this will connect to your Miller Lite account to your thrive leads so this is the very first step which I want to take when you install thrive lead so that your email autoresponder and tri-rail can talk to each other then we can start designing our email opt-in forms for doing that go ahead to this thrive dashboard and click on this thrive leads option is full it will take you to thrive leads dashboard so when you will come here for the very first time this will be the dashboard for you these are a few options which you will get I won't be explaining each and every option because if I am going to do that this tutorial is going to be a long tutorial which I don't want because it is a beginner series I will be making a complete tutorial or a complete series on thrive leads and what you can do and why it is such a powerful tool to have in your arsenal because it makes marketing inside of your website heck lot easier so for this video I will be only using few options and will and will be showing you how you can do some opt-in forms and some on-page pop-ups or anything if you want to do inside of thrive leads how it for instance is you have to create a lead group and inside of lead group people will get each and every marketing options from which you can choose whichever option you want to use so let me show you this in action and it will make much more sense and you can understand each and everything for making our very first opt-in form what do we have to do is we have to click on this lead groups lead groups option and click on this add new button and you have to name your lead group now here what it is asking is what is a promotion is all about what you are promoting are you promoting a book are you promoting an affiliate offer or are you promoting your any courses or any of your own digital products whichever thing you are promoting right here this will really help you to understand which which lead groups you are creating so in my case let's say I'm promoting a hosting offer let's let's say I'm promoting Bluehost and I will click on this ad lead group option now once I have done that I have created a Bluehost Bluehost lead groups it will give you a lead group right here and don't worry about this signal we will be fixing it right away in few minutes now when you click on this option it will give you it will give you a new button that says add an opt-in form I know it will be a bit of overwhelming if you are doing this for the first time listen up this is a lead group and a right here with your watch which you are getting this button is it is asking in which way you want to promote this lead group right you are promoting an offer as I told you earlier you have to name this lead group by which offer you're promoting if you are promoting your own book you're going to write my ebook and this is a button which is asking in which way you want to promote so inside of thrive lead when you click on this button you will get all these options so here are options which option you want to choose do you want to promote it as a in content or you want to make a light box or you want to make a ribbon or you want a footer post or a complete screen filler scroll matte sliding or a visit so I will be showing your visit and in content in this video you can play around or I will be definitely making a video series on thrive leaders because it is really powerful and I am using it inside of my website so for now let's select this visit option and we will click on this visit option and we will be redirected to this page and now we have a visit inside of our lead group are you getting this this is our lead group and inside of our lead group we have a widget we have ways to promote our offer we are promoting an offer which is Bluehost and we have different ways to promote it we can make a visit we can make a pop-up we can Maisie and we can made a in post opt-in form for this we are making a visit next we have to add a form then we have to click on this add form option and it will take us to a new page and from here we can start designing our visit now in case you want to know where you are right now you can always use these breadcrumbs now inside of thrive dashboard we are in thrive leads and thrive leads we are in visit we will be designing our visit so let's click on this create form option and it will ask a name why they are asking a name is inside of this visit you can also do all kind of split test or a bit testing I know for the beginner users or for my beginner subscribers every testing can be a bit over don't don't you worry just give it a name for me I will be giving it a name as right side and inside of Brackett I will be adding green in case in future you want to add a right side orange color opt-in form and you want to a be test which is a winner opt-in form you could always do inside of this platform right here then we have to click on this create form option and it will give you all this option right here and then we have to click on this edit design option in and we can start designing by clicking on this button now once you're here you will get all these templates to choose from you can choose any template which you want and you can start designing I know this tool if you are using for the very first time can be a bit confusing and can be really difficult to use for new users don't you worry I will be making a detailed video or and I I will be making a course which is called obtain mastery and will be giving it for free to all those my subscriber who have bought thrive leads from my link so if you a template which you want to display as your site visit if you notice this is the widget which I am using inside of my website so we can select that or we can select any one which we like let's add this one let's say Lucien I am using this one let's add this one now after selecting this just click on this choose template option and it will import this template on to your workspace from here you can start designing you you can just start editing now what you can do you can search for thrive architect tutorials inside of YouTube or you can wait for my upcoming tutorials I will be making videos on that topic and for now just start editing just start playing around for basics let me tell you if you click on any element these all are elements you will get a panel in this left sidebar and you can change color you can which is everything is pretty much self-explanatory here which is difficulty is this elements panel by clicking on this a door you will get call this element panel and you can just drag and drop everything which you want I will be making videos on this topic so don't you worry at all for now you have to just connect your email autoresponder from here by clicking on this form element you will get this option right here when where you can click on this add connections option when you click on that add connections option you will get a drop-down menu so click on this mailer light option and what this will do it will give you a all group option which you have created inside of your mailer light account simply select any group which you want these email opt-in form to go to and click on this apply option now what you have done right here whoever comes to your website and enters their email address will be taken directly to your mailer lights subscription account and you can start sending emails right from your email autoresponder so thrive leads I think thrive leads is very good in integrating any kind of email autoresponder they have covered each and every company which ever you are using after you have done editing and connecting your form with your mail a light account only important step was this to connect this form to your mailer light account and then you are ready to go you can click on this save work option or you can click on this drop up menu and you can click save and preview for me I will first save this work and then I will exit without saving let's exit out of this dashboard so this is our opt-in form and we will be using inside of our website so let me show you how our website is right how our website is looking like right now if you if we click on any post right here we don't have any kind of opt-in form anywhere we don't have anywhere any kind of opt-in form I will be taking this opt-in form and will be adding a right here so how are you going to do that so first of all let's cut this off option first let's cut this and go back to our wordpress dashboard as you can see we have a form you can always create another form and you can have AV testing inside of your thrive now next there are a few important steps which you need to understand first of all there is a trigger option when you will cut back and you will come here right here thrive dashboard thrive leads widget inside of visit the forum which you have created you will get a trigger option just click on this and it will ask you for few options how you want to trigger this do you want to show them on page load or so when user reaches a bottom of that page it will be good if you select this option and click on save so our first step is done next very important step is you have to click on this thrive lead option right here and it will take you back to thrive leads dashboard from here you have to select this option and you have to give it a display condition from here you have to select on which pages you want to show all this opt-in form which you just created it will be good if you click on this option which says all pages and you are good to go and in case you want to make your marketing campaigns very specific you can always select buy pages or buy posts and you will get this select post option and my pages will always get this select pages option and you can just name your page right here for now just click on this all pages option and click on save and close so with this we have done our second important step successfully last important step is you you have to click this lead group again and if you have to activate this for desktop and if you want you can activate this for your mobile device which I don't recommend because our opt-in form was a bit longer to be displayed on mobile device so just click on this display on desktop option and you are good to go last thing if you refresh this page you will notice you're not getting any kind of thrive lead widget right here why because we have not yet configured widget for this page how we are going to do that in a video number five we talked about theme and visits there I have explained what is a widget if you haven't watched that video you can always click on that eye button and it will take you to a playlist and you can watch whichever video I want to watch right now we have to set our thrive leads which is just created on to our right side widget how we are going to do that first of all you have to go to appearances then you have to go to this visits option from here if you are going to add that visit on to our right sidebar widgets option so now when you are this page so when you are in this page you have your right side visit panel right here and if you look around properly you if you scroll down you are going to get a thrive leads widget you're going to add it in right sidebar right and you have to click on add widget and it will add thrive leads right inside of your right sidebar widget panel and from here you have to choose a lead group which you have created so I have Bluehost I will be clicking on this Bluehost option and will be saving this option now if you go back to your page and hit this refresh button now when you click on the refresh button you can see our thrive leads visit is active inside of our website so this is how you create this beautiful obtain pages or opt-in forms and you can integrate right inside of your website now if you look properly this widget is not sticky and in case you want to make this a sticky visit which will stick on the right side of your page when a user Scrolls down you have to do this by adding a plug-in so go here and click on add new from here we will be adding a plug-in search for q2 w3 and I think it will show you this plug-in q2 w3 fixed widget for WordPress and you have to install and activate this plug-in let's activate this now once you have activated that plugin you have to go back on appearances and go to visits and from here what we will do we will click on this thrive leads option and now you can see we have another option which says fixed visit simply click on this fixed visit option and click on this Save button now if we go back to our page and click on this refresh button what this will do this will make our thrive thrive leads widget sticky visit now if I use a scroll soooooon now as you can see we are scrolling our page and still that widget which is in right side of this page is sticky now it will stick until your user enters their email address and their name I guess or only mail address so this is how you make your widget sticky so that's how you're going to add a widget into your website you can always play around with this option using thrive leads and you can make many other kinds of opt-in forms if you want so I won't be covering each and every option which is inside of thrive leaves in detail in this option because I think it deserves a complete another series of thrive leads where you can design a different kind of opt-in forms and obtain widgets for those of you who want to know how I did this option or I designed this visit which had a in-line post option when someone clicks on this option they get a pop-up like this comment below and I will be making a video on thrive leads very first video in that series will be this video where I will be explaining how you can design this kind of opt-in forms inside of your thrive leads plug-in so anyways guys that was my video tutorial on how you can design a opt-in form inside of your website and you can make it sticky like this so for those of you who are following along this series this was video number 7 in this lecture series in our next
