Elytra Armor Trims in Minecraft

I think the elytra in Minecraft sucks and no I'm not talking about what it can do in the game I'm talking about its color less than one percent of the Minecraft Community have been lucky enough to attend a Minecon event where they were given a custom Cape like this one what if you could take the newly introduced armor trims and combine it with your elytra wings well today we can and I'm going to show you all about it welcome everyone my name is Echo hope you're having a fantastic day today I bring you a Minecraft mod that takes armor trims to the next level now in my opinion armor trims are one of the coolest features introduced but I feel they are still limited and I do hope in the future the developers will be expanding these for the possibility of maybe combining them with your elytra in my opinion the developers have been gatekeeping capes and not changing the elytra for a very long time like give us the ability to even dye this in fact forget about the dying ability I want armor Trims on the elytra the how on Earth does this work Echo well this works exactly how you expect instead of putting the trim templates on your armor you're gonna be putting this on a set of wings grab your wings grab any template you like we're using Vex today and any color you desire inside of the smithing table put your wings put your template and then put your color exactly the same way as it works with Arma it is going to give you a preview here so for example if you didn't like that one and I know redstone's quite a popular one if you wanted to change this to a redstone option you can do that and I really really like that one it's as simple as changing your chest plates and voila we have this now the creator of this which I will link down below has stayed true to the original templates not over complicating This and like I said less than one percent of Minecraft players have been lucky enough to attend a Minecon event which means if you were lucky enough you might actually have a cape now this does work with capes which looks a little bit weird in my opinion but yeah it is a thing there because again not everybody has the cape and is lucky enough like me I went to the one in London but check it out it looks so cool because I just think the original uh Wings in Minecraft they're just way too plain anyway we're gonna go over all of the designs available how do you guys leave a comment down below and tell me which one you think looks best So I placed every single trim template on top of the elytra obviously with different color variations but I am going to go through every single color variation with the silence armor trim the reason why is because I feel like the silence Armature which you can see right here definitely offers a lot more although what I will say is I do really like the tides armor trim I feel like that looks like a turtle shell they're really cool and very unique in their own way and I'll also put them on and show you guys what they look like with the wings open but comment down below which one you think looks best so we're gonna go over the first nine to start off with working from left to right and I'm gonna Crouch when I do this because I want to show you what it looks like open so that's the Sentry one this is the Vex one this is the wild Coast Dune I do like the Dune One open we have have the way finder Razer shaper and host now of course four of those being these four can be found inside of the trail ruins moving on to the ward then we have the silence one which is like an infection then we have the tide which is like a turtle shell then we have snout rib which I think looks really really cool with this color then we have the i i and then we have the Spire versions so what I do want to do is because like I said I think the silence one offers a little bit more than most I think it's the same with the armor trims is I want to put this on all of these and you guys can tell me which one you think looks best again thank you here is all of your color combinations the netherite one looks so impressive I also like this one here but is this one lapis or hold on can we like get this one off real quick which one is this one I take you off this one is the amethyst one bro the amethyst one looks so good to be honest they're all really really impressive anyway I hope you guys enjoyed today's video and I really hope the developers are going to expand on Armor trims or maybe even elytra trims in the future see you in next video
