Elton is among the greatest artists of our time, and will always be one of my personal favorite. One of my earliest memories is sitting with my father listening to "Don't let the sun go down on me" and listening to him tell me what those words meant to him.
This song was overplayed at my supermarket job 15 years ago and I had grown weary of it.
Flash forward to a year ago when I had fallen back in love with Elton John's music and I definitely appreciate this song more than I did in my late teens/early twenties.
