Electric CAR Conversion! From GASOLINE to ELECTRIC car in ONE video!

hi everyone yes I'm back and I know you want to ask me where have you been I don't post videos not because I'm lazy but because I had broken my arm you see that now I'm okay and I'm ready to work so first of all I want to build my own electric car I bought this lunchbox for only $1000 and I want to convert to electric first of all we must I ripped out engine and the gearbox let's do this [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] okay we ripped out our engine and gearbox away from the car and now we must connect our electric motor and the gearbox but how how we do that of course we need adaptive plate this plate has has same holes as the gearbox and we had that spacer this spacer we need that because the this flywheel must be a same position as it was before this distance is the same as it was on our petrol engine so now our flywheel will fit perfectly in our gearbox and we have a brand new clutch so I believe this little clutch will be enough for our torque because this engine has only around 60 18 torque and it depends on how much volts and amps we put in it so this patch will be enough I hope so we're ready to assemble all parts together and see what happens let's do this [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay the engine has already installed and this metal frame hold it nice and tight but that only to beginning because what we need now at this work leg work leg we use that because that make troubleshooting a lot easier we install it right here and he'll have all electric components we need the wiring fuses switches relays the main contactor all we need so when you see everything on your side that's not easy to find what's wrong with that and we have also that chill plate because our controller is small but powerful it has a 80 volts and 400 ends so we need additional liquid coolant with it because we need to reach do top speed so this liquid coolant is cool our controller because the coolant will goes right here and the plate is became cooler so the liquid will cool our plate and the plate will cool our controller that simple so we have also an electric pump who will pump our liquid liquid coolant and well we ready to go let's stop chalk to talk and walk the walk [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] yes I have finished assembling now you can see why I need this warplane here you have all electric components right before your eyes it's a DC motor electric controller liquid from the main contactor total body uses relays all we ever need now we need to finish final and most important part of our electric car it's a battery I decided to use this 80 amps our little iron battery cell our battery must be 72 votes nominal so I need to connect 24 this cells in serious but before we assemble our battery we need to balance this cell there are two types of balancing bottom balancing and the top balance button balancing is very popular because you discharged your battery for each voltage to point 7 volts as example and then we recharge them to 90% capacity so then will become a same voltage again after discharging and then either is top balancing with this method recharge battery to max by using these balancers to control current which flow into the sound and not let them overcharge I decided to use a towel balance because of this method I can be sure that my battery always 100% charge but if you using Tom balancing the month is not discharged your battery completely you almost must lead a 10% capacity I can do it by reprogramming my engine controller so we are on the finish line now let's go and assemble our battery [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] yeah it's nice [Music] [Music] not enough not enough Sam the hottest wayney behind enough yeah not enough not enough I can read through and make a scene and call your bluff look it's not enough not enough Sam the hottest way neither hot enough not enough not enough I can read go and make a scene around [Music] not enough not enough saying I ain't even no no not enough not enough say you to hire anybody so it makes any place so that's it we did we transform our petrol car to electric in one video now you know how you can do it that's it for now guys thanks for watching stay subscribe and see you next time bye
