EGO 56v Electric Mini Bike - IT'S COMPLETELY SILENT !

I brought a ton of really cool tools to this channel but nothing as real nice like as [Music] [Music] this so by the time we're done with this video you're going to know everything you need to know about this bike and I'll tell you this thing is so much fun it is so freaking cool and I can't wait to show you so let's do the overview first we'll use and abuse we'll take it out for a ride and I'll show you a little secret under the seat that ego might not want you to know about all right first things first let's talk about the unboxing when you order your 56 volt ego mini bike is going to arrive like this packaged very very well now this thing does weigh just over 200 lb so you might want to get a friend I didn't need a friend I'm a Mayan I did it myself you're going to get two 7.5 bat rays and and you're going to get the Dole charger now the only thing that you're going to need to assemble are the handlebars just put the four screws in and the cluster up on top very simple now they will give you every wrench that you need to install this so don't worry about having your own tools and you do get two off-roading pneumatic tires which are really really beefy I was surprised to see the quality on these and you do have the motor on the back wheel you got solid rotors on the front and the back of the bike but they were smart they added holes so if you are using your brakes a lot you don't have to worry about these things holding the Heat and warping however the build quality on this bike is insane it literally feels like a little mini motorcycle I mean I think that's because it is but the build quality is awesome the fenders very heavyduty plastic everything on this bike is pretty freaking heavy duty the design is really well done and on top of that you get the leather Stitch seating so that is also real nice like all right so let me show you all the cool real nice like stuff and then we'll take it for a ride now if you buy this in a kit configuration it's going to come with not one but two 7.5 age back Ray now the way you open this up is with the same key that you use in your ignition you'll get two keys with this so you just turn it this way and you can see this pops open however if I turn the key the opposite way this will open up on the side now not only can you throw your phone and other things in here what's cool about this is they have this design so you can put another Bat Ray on the inside of this so now say I'm riding around and I'm just having too much fun I don't want to stop well I can throw an extra one in here and that's for storage and then if I run out of the batter Ries on top well then this is the extra one now we'll talk about the run time and all that good stuff but I do want to let you know in case I forget say both of your B rays do drain and you need to throw that extra one in there to get you home well this will work on just one you don't have to do both of them at the same time however you won't be able to put this in sport mode you'll only be able to put this in like the medium to low speed range so to go into sport mode you're definitely going to have to have two of these in there and again I'll show you that all here in a bit so up on the controls as you already know this is low medium High these are your lights so you're going to have off you're going to have your running lamp and then you're going to have your headlight this is your high and low beam so this will switch it to high that's back to low you actually have a reverse on this thing which goes very slow but if you're in mud or you're stuck this will give you some assist they also give you a manly man horn right here that's what's up you also got your front and back brakes right here and your peg right there right here that kickstand is also real beefy like so let's go take this for a ride and I'll show you how crazy fun this is and how quiet this thing is all right let's take this thing for a ride so first thing we're going to do is you know you got to turn the key on and then there's going to be a ready little button right you just push that over and it's going to kick on so we're going to start this out on low and we're just going to go so let's go through the yard here and we'll go up on the road but this thing here let me tell you something this thing goes through like mud dirt it's all muddy back here you can hear swishing goes through awesome no issues at all if I want to I can put this on medium and that's going to give us even more of the battery power so so here's what I was talking about I only had one battery in there I thought I had two I was like why am I not going faster than 13 m per hour so that's what's going to do if you have that spare one it's just going to give you enough juice to get you back home so 13 so let's try this again let's start this out we should only go about 13 milph turn the key on hit the ready the one thing I will say is that the screen is a little a little bit dark so we're on low again and we're going to go about 13 but now that we have both of these in here we're going to be able to go a little bit faster so let's put this in like neutral how you doing so now we're up to about 18 this thing kicks out around 18 mph on the medium setting 1718 now mind you I'm also 235 this thing's rated for like 220 my fetes sitting on here it does good now the only thing you hear on this if you notice are the tires you got the nubbies little bit of brake squill but it's just because it's been sitting here so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to push this speed button here super speed they should call it Roll n like speed or turbo button now you're going to definitely feel a little bit more kick you can feel that kick it in wind picking up 28 m per hour so right now we're doing 25 there's definitely a governor on this thing 24 the brakes work very very well not sure if that's picking up but the brakes work awesome on the St front back that's your back so let's speed this up we'll start from a a dead stop and we'll bring it up the road very very controlled though feels so it's it's just so much fun to ride this thing feels good on a hot day too now what's nice about this is I was saying it's completely silent and the neighbors if you have like a gas if you had gas they probably I don't I don't I don't necessarily blame them you're going up and down a street all day in a gas they're probably going to get pretty frustrated but with this the only thing you hear is the tires all right so let's go we're up 16 17 19 20 22 23 do have a little bit of a pickup all right so just to let you know I was riding this out in the rain and the same thing even in the muddy backyard no issues with this thing this thing just really grips because of those tires and of course if you ride this on your road well they going to wear those tires down a little bit faster a little bit quicker than if you were to ride this in the mud where it is supposed to be R so as far as it goes with the throttle again when you're in that high setting which I'll show you how to get that high setting hold on o a car okay you can definitely feel the thing it it picks up but like I said there's definitely threr even if you're going down downhill you're not going past 28 mph there's a governor but 28 mph is definitely fast enough for me on this I mean yeah I'm not going I don't not want to go like 50 mph on this so 27 26 I was hitting 28 the other day but if you're going uphill at 245 lb 2526 is about the limit for me on this thing but all you're hearing are those tires which are real quiet all right so let's go down here we'll see if we can hit this as fast as we can you can feel this thing shutting down like the the power shutting off so 27 mph 26 26 25 we're throttle we're all the way 26 got something in my eyeball so 28 mph is like the best of the best top speed are you going to get there all the time no I would have liked to have seen that let's go down this way real quick now the corners like this thing is it's light but it's it's heavy enough I mean say it weighs around like 200 lb so it's light enough so it doesn't feel like crazy heavy around this corners but it's it's light enough you know what I'm saying if you've ever ridden a bike before but this is all the louder it gets I mean it's super question nobody's complaining nobody's getting upset you don't hear that small engine so why don't we go back and we'll put the uh shotgun mic up on top of the can I say that YouTube shotgun mik you're going to block me YouTube so let's put the shotgun like up on the uh camera and I'll show you how quiet this thing is just driving by the house so this is how loud it is this is what other people are going to hear when you're riding this thing it's literally no louder than a bicycle that's it don't I don't know what I said there all right so even in like the so we've had rain here for the last few days and like the back of the backyard is like completely saturated but no issues I know I don't I look S I get I'm 200 240 pounds but I'm telling you the thing really freaking well yeah you can do the wheelies on it here and all that good stuff I don't suggest that for the chillins but like you don't hear anything listen now again just to State this you're going to get up to 28 miles per hour on the S on the sport mode that said you're going to get up to 20 miles on two 7.5 amp hour bat race it come with the ego bike you can also buy this bike by itself without them if you're already in the ego platform you're using their string trimmers lawn mowers all that this will accept the exact same 56 volt batray but again you'll get up to 20 mile range on two of them which is completely awesome if you have more you just come back charge those and then switch them out I do want to state that you know that cluster up on top is a little bit dark but you can also see down there you can see how much more power you have in your b r all right so let me show you real quick the secret under the seat so what you got to do is you got to open this up and you're going to have two bolts right there now this does come with the Allen wrench that's what you use to put well two of them actually that's what you use to put the handlebars and the the dominer and all that on but you're going to take these bolts out and be careful because there's a couple washers on the bottom of these some lock washers so once you take those out the seat's going to slide off you see that switch right there so what this does is if I don't want this to go into sport mode I'm going to come over it's going to come this way it's going to come on the off position if I want the 28 mph 27 mph you got to flip that you got to take the seat off just like we did and then flip that to high and that is what's going to give it the max speed and just to give you an idea of what it looks like underneath the seat no I do want to just reiterate one more time if you're in the direct sunlight it's going to be hard to see your instrument gauge however in the shade in the dark no issues at all I do want to let you know as well that sport mode if you don't have that switch and gauge all that thing is going to do is outline that sport mode and you're not going to be able to engage it for how small the pegs are they're actually pretty comfortable for the rider they're a little strange but they work and you got some good grip you also got the lighting so you got the back lighting which if I hit the brakes it's going to turn on if I turn my just running lights on it's going to turn on but if I hit the brakes with the running lights on it gets brighter it's completely protected I mean they did really good with the safety features so that's the back let me show you the front real quick all right so here's the running light right here there's your headlight put it on the high beam if you want so you can go from three to two down and then completely off I always like to have that running light when I'm using this even in the daylight cuz people don't look listen that's one thing you got to pay attention to too you know this thing is super whisper quiet so you got to make sure that people are seeing you if you are playing around out in the neighborhood I ain't telling you to do that I'm just saying you got to be safe they also give you that back bar so if you want to move this thing around maybe you get in a weird awkward position you can pick this up and it's not too bad at all so as far as it goes with the bill quality they did an amazing job again the only thing I'll state is there definitely is a governor on this thing you're not going to get this thing over 30 miles per hour doesn't matter if you're going down a 45 degree slope maybe I don't know gravity Works weird however it looks good I mean that's fast enough for me and my kid absolutely loves this thing I mean he's getting to the age now that he just wants to get out and ride and he's not annoying those neighbors with the very annoying two-strokes or anything like that so you don't have an issue and not to mention you know even the police told me like it's an ebike we're not going to have any issues with you riding this you know if you're trying to get to point A to point B if you're just having some fun you know you're you're not causing any Havoc so I thought that was really cool you just want to make sure you check your local laws now I am going to do a second video of this we're going to do some offroading this is basically your you know showand tell situation here on this bike sort of the information you needed on this and you know just a ride around the neighborhood but we are going to take it use it and abuse it so if you want
