Efteling Vlog | Epic Europe Theme Park Road Trip - July 2023

[Music] foreign [Music] spoiler warning we are actually staying on site at the resort so this is actually halfway through the day LOL so the next shot that you're about to see is just coming into the back entrance which is how we got in today because we're staying on site at the afterlife Hotel uh but yes oh my God ah can't believe we're here we just came over from the afterlink hotel and we are now in the echling theme park so excited we're sitting out in front of like the very iconic Vogel Rock entrance um I think it's a roller coaster I watch a lot of like afterlink videos but I've tried to avoid like the actual ride spoilers so I don't really know exactly what we're getting into in terms of like what type of ride it is or what exactly is going to happen in there I just know it's a roller coaster and I know it's iconic and I am super excited for it I'm just super excited for the day you guys agree oh my God this has been by far the nicest day of the trip so far it's like upper 60s light little breeze in the air it's sunny partly cloudy it's beautiful out I'm so excited to start the day this park looks absolutely stunning already and we've seen like 100 feet of it so I am so excited so should we do our first episode should we go do um Vogel Rock okay let's go do it this queue is already awesome [Music] um incredible wow I'm good after falling down the stairs and we finally got on vocal Rock I say finally it was like a two minute wait like a station away it was so fun um that was fun it was like um like a European Space Mountain yeah yeah with Birds um yeah oh what is that uh we need to do that later that's cool wow um yeah first um that was a lot of fun and we're gonna go find something else to do now seriously walking through this park and just I can't get over it it's beautiful it's so pretty I think this is the show building to symbolica which is like their trackless Dark Ride which I'm very looking forward to oh just beautiful oh I can see Baron through the trees there she goes oh yeah we definitely need to get on symbolica so symbolica is a trackless dark ride and what I've been told is I need to write it three times because there are three different experiences that you can choose from so we'll have to experience it a couple times throughout the day figure out which experience is uh the best one boat ride everything is just like so Grand like look at these like beautiful lamps that's symbolic I think over there check out the shot ah we're almost going into symbolica I'm faster yeah I'll be yet see his name is a fantastic all to one through the Palace of fantasy no no no or being the roots the tank and the greenhouse [Music] open oh [Music] these are like the three different like options I was telling you about so you can pick music heroes or Treasures I think we're gonna go for Treasures on this first option but we're gonna try to come back and one day what can you do so if we can do everything we'll definitely try to come back and do the other source there and see which one we like the most we made it uh to the station of symbolica and we actually only ended up waiting about 20 25 minutes a little less than what they had included which is always really nice here comes our vehicle let's go excited and again I can take you out of the GoPro so stay tuned a symbolica souvenir he's apparently the mascot of the park symbolic room spray that's fun we just got off at symbolic right and that was pretty freaking cool absolutely magnificent oh my God the tracklist Dark Ride was so cool all of a little effects and just how elaborate the teaming was and like everything was working like it was just so nice you can just see how much effort they put into it even though we didn't understand it like yeah it was still a really cool experience yeah it was totally totally cool um the level of detail is like something that I like have only really ever seen at like Tokyo Disney uh like Disney sea like I would say like this park is on like that kind of level of being as themed as Tokyo Disney see um it's just absolutely stunning just you're gonna get a lot of Park footage today just because it's so pretty oh I love it we're gonna go um towards some of the coasters uh Baron Joyce and the drop and Max and Moritz and get some of the credits in and then to see kind of where the day takes us and then five and Vibe yes all around we are just walking by Ai and we see some construction happening um I don't know how to say that I'm not going to try you did a really good job yeah we'll go with that um brand new ride coming next year I guess it's replacing one of the older like spooky attractions and it's coming in 2024 gonna be like some brand new stuff that we haven't really seen happen before like a whole new like spooky area and like if this park has it can do anything right it's theming so yeah and I love to be incredible I love spooky stuff so like we'll definitely have to come back and and check it out when it reopens or when it opens for the first time um when we get back to afterlink at some point we're getting some churros and look at it they have like this little material machine that just like great it just flops them in that is so smart actually you have really figured everything out I love it and we got some churros with uh Nutella and some water because we have to hydrate yes just got the uh churros with a little Nutella on top it's very fresh they're very hot oh yeah oh my God so fresh too like crunchy on the outside soft on the inside Nutella a little cinnamon sugar on it you can't go wrong we found Baron very interesting looking b m dive coaster it's so pretty like Oblivion again where the drop feels belongings oh my God wow we just got off of Baron and that was for such a short little dive coaster a plus the drop actually hit way harder than you think it's going to it was so much fun the little elements were perfect the theming yeah we were in the front row and the drop hit incredible the theming is amazing the storyline is so cool just oh chef's kiss that feeling it's it is like this is it shows that not every attraction has to be a record breaker insane high speed like it could just be a coaster with really good story a really good theming and it's amazing yeah like it's an experience driven attraction and it's so good next up is the water coaster I actually don't really know what the name is all I do know is it's operating which I guess is a win it was originally built by Goomba which if you guys probably know from like the Rita the trains on T3 and like a couple other trains so here comes [Music] that is what we're gonna go do um and apparently Kuma couldn't get it up and running when they were trying to open it so they called on intiman because who else would you call on to fix a ride um so I've heard she's gonna be a little temperamental but it's operating so I think we're gonna go do that and then after we have a reservation to go to like this like pancake house so that should be fun um so yeah let's go see how this kumbak intimate log boom water coaster thing is she looks a little crazy oh wow we found a bunch more coasters oh there's like python how fun oh my gosh almost fell down some more almost felt more steps wow um here is the station for this this looks amazing watch another step I don't know it took a moment to registered oh man we're gonna die uh today all right this is okay so this is the name of the ride which is oh I'm not even gonna try I'm just gonna say Hollander gym day calendar we're in the queue and like I saw somebody throw something in this and I was like wow that's rude because I thought it was theming but it's the actual trash can afterlang now I am starting to understand like when people said why are you not going to afterlang now I get it I just get it you just have to come you I hope that like you can even see like a tiny percentage of how amazing and beautiful this park is through this Vlog and hopefully it inspires you to come but if not like just trust me it's like it's stunning it's beautiful the onion gets better while we're in the queue for um Hollander we're looking at drawers in the drop which is like the GCI and you can see the new Titan track like where it meets with the old GCI track so that's cool we just did the um Google translate on the name of the ride and it translates to the Flying Dutchman that's what it is we are still in the queue but at least there's a lot of stuff to look at this is a really cool Cube that's cool I was like wow all those footage are so dark and like everything is like like there's lights but nothing is like lit up really nicely and I realized I had my sunglasses still on so now I have my real glasses on and I can see much better now so that's great news and look at this you can see the station it's a dual loading station that's fun [Music] foreign [Music] Dutchman and that was way more than I expected it to be and I think a huge reason why going into blind and some of these attractions is recommended because I had no idea what to expect but honestly it was way cool the inside section was way cooler than I had honestly expected it to be um the coaster part left a little to be desired but that's not really what it's about right it's about the indoor part of the ride and uh really really loved the uh the indoor section of the ride it was really cool and perfect amount of what just a little bit of mist to cool us off and now we are off to a pancake place for lunch where they serve Savory and sweet pancakes so we'll take you to lunch with us we are kind of where we started for the day at symbolica and we are at like this Pancake Place Pancake House I think that's what this means I think it just means pancake Polo gherkin I think that just means pancake pancake kitchen that's what we're calling it it's a pancake kitchen oh my gosh this is so I hope we can eat outside it's so pretty out hi I just had a little potty moment in the Pancake House and look at how oh my God like literally stunning I can't get over this park seriously if you have not been to epsiling and Europe is on your like radar like make sure you find time to come to this park it is absolutely stunning we have a cute little outdoor table there's Joshi and we're gonna order some pancakes and Crepes for lunch look at the fancy water we got oh it smells citrusy how's that yeah it smells lemony oh it does yeah it kind of smells like pledge our pancakes have arrived um what did we get we got salmon with cream cheese and arugula apple cinnamon and chicken shawarma these are massive they really are they look so good I'm so excited okay let's eat here we go we're trying the salmon one first just slime hmm oh that's really good how's yours Cooper never more beautiful than that the crepe is just like it's so soft so fresh the salmon tastes Super Fresh the cream cheese is great like literally it's just so look we've already eaten half of it so hungry but it's just so good definitely come check this place out I literally think it's just called pancake now it's time to dive into the apple and we did add um cinnamon sugar to ours so there was an apple or an apple cinnamon and raisin and we got a hybrid the apple with cinnamon but no raisins because I love myself and here we go that's really good yeah I like that one a lot I think I like the salmon one better yeah I think the same one was better but this one is still really good I feel like it needs like something like being being so American I mean like it really should have like whipped cream yeah more sugar give me more sugar but yeah like a little like dollop of whipped cream would have been Pleasant I tried it with the um um shank Stroop but it had Pancakes on it so I it was like it's meant to be put on your pancake um no assumingly I don't like I don't like you sorry you're up there with raisins we were just talking after we left lunch we were like you know what we haven't really seen in this park gift shops like like you can't like like at every theme park in the US and like even like in the Parks we've been so far here in Europe like every ride exits into a gift shop they're trying to sell you something here nothing like you have to go out of your way to go find a gift shop we are on our way to Max and Moritz I think is over in this direction so just can't get over how beautiful this park is [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you this is uh we're walking to the front of the park to go to Max and Moritz and like just kind of go to the front of the park and we're seeing like where they do aquinora at night which we're going to watch tonight which is our nighttime show with like fountains and fire and lights and music and then that's the building for Fatima Morgana I hope I'm saying that right Phantom Organa um yeah I think that's look at the Frog that's so cool um this is incredible [Music] I want that so bad how much is this 80 Euros that's not even that bad that's like a really good price actually yeah right oh my God we just found like this snack wall like what in the world is going on here you can just get chicken nuggets and then you just pay with your Apple pay or whatever and you just do it oh my gosh wait what is this what are you a meat Ragu snack and meat snack a noodle snack what that does not look like noodles chicken snack a spring roll s more cheese snacks spicy meat snack more meat wow this is so interesting hey Josh caved and got a cheese snack honestly I took a bite it is so good the cheese like tastes like so fresh and it's super hot there it is cheese snack it was really good okay after laying pop off I'm being told to put this in his mouth I'm like unsure this is they have the um potato Twisters like they have for Halloween Horror Nights they are oh they're a lot cheaper here too wow they found her Max and Morris um it was not where you expected it to be like the um the exit was like way far away from here so here we go only a 15 minute wait so that's not too bad at all this queue is obscene what is going oh my God it's like the oh what okay ready [Applause] [Music] foreign foreign [Music] even the trains are so cool on this they're so fun we just did uh Moritz of Max and Moritz so we got both of those dead um wobbly all them horses uh such a cute ride and you can just tell like everybody on the train is loving it like the entire crowd is just like whooping and hollering and having a good time like honestly such a fun it's just a fun family grow spirit and it's so well themed and it's so well done the staff were happy like it was just a Vibe I loved it it was so cute I think we're off to like python now and then probably the GCI so man these people are still going I think I lied to you I think we're gonna do a phantom or I hope I'm saying that right Phantom Organa next because I think it's like right up here um and then we'll go get the rest of the coasters but we've gotten five of the eight in so far today so overall I think we're doing a great job we saw like six more hours in the park too so three more coasters so I think we're doing it pretty good today we're kind of slaying the game we are slaying the game I'm having a fantastic day here Josh you having fun I'm having an amazing day this park is incredible quasi Vibes Posey Vibes all night it's so much fun um what is going on here what's happening what is this I can't see it because of the tree what is going on something wow wow wow look at those toenails girly needs a pedicure okay oh there's a wizard here let's see what's going on [Music] what is going on there is that a dentist [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] okay [Music] um Fatima Morgana was certainly an attraction it was really really well themed there's a lot going on but I'm not really sure what was going on all I know is at one point we ended up through their legs like I don't know um I took my GoPro in I'm still new to this so I'm still learning so like if it worked out there'll be some clips in before this if not bear with me I'm learning you know I'm trying new things right but at some point I promise you we went through their legs and like I'm not there's a wizard and then there's a rainforest of snakes and then I think I don't know I really don't know what happened there was a lot happening but yeah it was it was a good time we have made it back over to the roller coaster area of the park so there's the two gcis drawers from the drug and python is somewhere over this is really cool I'm assuming this is the drop which um I think translates to Dragon so this appears to be the Dragon I'm gonna say it again cool it is it is so cool ah this park is awesome what do you think of afterlay we just noticed that when the rides dispatches the lights all turn blue for this side and like on that side they turn red and then what's so cool is like whoever wins because this is a racing coaster these like banners come down and they like tell you who won so and like a little Fanfare plays that's so cool okay now we're gonna see who won if it's the red side or the blue side there it goes with the ball we just did Joyce and the track once we did the blue side and we won as you saw hopefully from the POV if I get it to upload [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] um so fun so smooth love the Titan track there's also some retracting just like General GCI retracting that felt really great um I asked Alex in the middle to ride or like at the end of the ride I was like do you think the Titan track is too smooth because I mean it was like steel coaster I mean it is like a toaster at that point right like is it it's like a smooth I loved it because it was super smooth it was it was really nice I mean but I see what you mean now is it like not a wooden coaster is it yeah I don't know but like also if that's what it takes to preserve them is it worth it absolutely I think it was super smooth super comfy it was like a more like family version of Mystic Timbers that's how I would say it like it had a lot of like low to the ground good pops and bear time I thought it was really fun good theming yeah really really love the racing aspect it was great it was so fun everyone's having a blasto yeah and it was like positive cheering too they were not like oh you're going yeah I started off like that because I don't know and I was like no we don't need that right like the people when we came in they realized we won they were like cheering for us because they were so excited it was a very positive we're trying to find some thing to drink maybe iced coffee but I don't think they have that so I didn't find any iced coffee but I did find the hot coffee and it is like screw waffle and look it's so pretty she did such a good job [Music] just whipped cream but so far so good oh it's good that's really good we have some coffee to get us through these last four hours here at afterlang very long Park day today they open 10 a.m till 10 P.M and we're here for most of that we basically got here at open so um yeah very long day we got some coffee get us through the second part and we are heading to python next so python has a little interesting story um this is actually a completely free well almost completely uh refurbished attraction that the Como went in and reprofiled everything has like a newer track design so it's supposed to be much smoother much nicer than what it was previously um the only thing I think that's still original is like the lift Hill and only a 15 minute wait so that's a win um but yeah let's go ride the ride and see how it is I love uh vacroma Arrow coasters like this so I'm really excited to see what it looks like or rides like uh with the updated profiling python was incredible the new profiling and the new track was so smooth oh my gosh it was so much fun honestly every Tacoma needs that that new track those new trains absolutely incredible so much fun um that's all I gotta say about that so yeah they're still going [Music] snack moment we just got um I got some meatball sub thing and an apple juice Alex got like this like sausage with arugula and tomato chutney and that's what Josh got too it looks really good super good it is really good I just had a bite of it it's really good oh wow so I'm gonna try the meatballs and see how that they came with a um a curry sauce I guess she's like I could have peanut or Curry so I tried Curry that sounds good it's really good nice yup slave yep um we're in the part of the park that we haven't been to we've been here for so long like we've done so much walking what is this no this is so pretty also this sunset's really pretty yeah we gotta ride for goad yeah we gotta go to Pagoda after this what's this friend called that we're going to room okay we're going to that I don't know how to say that I'm not even gonna try I think it means spring place that sounds about right oh wow a real girly what is she doing up there this is I think the last dark ride that we need to get on today right there's like no like Signs like I would never know that this was a ride so oh here we go oh my God this is a suspended Dark Ride what I didn't know that that's pretty awesome that's really cool what did we go to Hogwarts what is going on there's so much also we've spun like this is like a rotating thing um excuse me what is happening that feeling is wild wild oh what is that Goblin getting down Goblin oh look at them go off and it's a unicorn s [Music] so what is going on here bye [Music] oh what is happening down there you have such an unfortunate face both of you down kind of aggressively Madonna [Music] problem [Music] am I supposed to be like learning something what am I doing here there's like I don't think there's any story lines we are flying absolutely what is going on we're flying through this all right I mean Helix in the middle of this ride I'm just waiting for like a surprise Corkscrew like just I don't even know what just happened that was that was a lot it was cool you can get a little puzzle of the girlies on here this is literally what they look like also if you didn't see that in the video if it didn't come through this is their face this picture very good representation of what happened on the ride so whatever you gather from this as a story is true we literally just keep stumbling upon like areas that I've never seen like this has this been where are we this park is crazy who are we how did we get here who are you what is happening also they have two of them like just next to each other there's another one right to the left oh there is more land that we have not seen before who what are you as I've said before if you can give yourself two days here this is amazing definitely give yourself two days at this park because there's so much yeah full week at this part I'm trying to do at least two days it's like 9 p.m we only have an hour left it's actually nine o'clock there are parts of the park that we still have not even seen yet this is crazy it just like keeps going it's it's incredible if we love afterlink my ADHD has peaked this is wild what I love this song oh my God this is crazy what [Music] what is this what is this [Music] aquinora ooh so pretty it's like almost 10 15 at night and it's still so bright out right now look at how bright it is this is 10 15 at night so yeah we're gonna watch aquinora and then we're gonna sad but like that literally Best Day Ever it's been it's been a week but oh my God no time at all I don't know it's been such a long day but it's been such an amazing day it's so much fun this park is over no I know this part I wish I had two days at but you know Whistle Stop tour here in Europe so that's okay we'll come back for sure and definitely definitely come back to visit this part because it's absolutely stunning um there's still places we have not explored um so aquinora the nighttime show incredible uh amazing view for it um oh the entrance building is lighting up I posted a full
