yo my peoples it's chunks and I'm here with JD and Princess trust to let Kai Jack and Charlie know they've won an award let's [Music] go hello up you did nice to meet you guys man how you do okay nice to meet you right okay nice to meet you man um so what you guys doing there so you know you I'm doing interview but I've actually got something to read it it says um that you guys won a regional award early the see your project correct uh and I'm here to tell you that the national judging judging panel has been held and you guys are the winner of the JD Foundation comuni impact award so congratulations on that app all right so I'm here with the boys um we spoke a little bit of camera but actually want get down into it what is it exactly you guys do and what is it you guys do with Princess trust as well like how do they help you yeah so um we did the princess trust 12we uh personal and development course and within that course we have to do a community project uh we decided to work with um the Chris Foundation to help the pained mural for their offices we came together and designed it and we interviewed um to read the cave to see what she wanted on it to make it personal to her and to other people that she works with why did you decide that you want to actually get involved in something like this when we looked into it and researched it we found out we were at the time uh second in the country for knife crime so it did really uh impact our community so we thought that one was the one that was going to like touch everyone the M how what how did it come about how long did it take uh it took about a week was it 5 days uh we started just with a drawing uh and an idea and then we met two artists two local artists grahe and Ben and uh they helped us get the uh main shape of the tree down and then we drew the leaves and put the victim's names on the leaves what's the community's reaction to the mural and what do they think about it uh it's been great whenever people pass it uh they always make some little comment about the about the art and it's always nice to see you I've had I've had friends in my area that that like been step haven't been killed so and they have morals in in in the area that we like they were stabbed in and it's much bigger than just telling people to drop their nice I think it's something we actually have to go into the communities like the boys have done and actually go out there and you know what I mean speak to people amazing and generally congratulations on on such a successful thing obviously n cram is a big thing here in London as well something that I've been affected by so uh it's something that's always been close to my heart so soon as I heard about it I was definitely excited to get along and hopefully I can actually visit the Mir man I want to see it in person so well done guys man congratulations Round of Applause for them and as well man [Music]
