Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I never realized how many times Ed picked off Payton Manning! Like half of the picks on here are from Manning π€£
Ray is the greatest raven of all time but watching this reminds my Ed Reed was my personal favorite. Anytime the Quarterback through the ball I was ready for Reed to snatch it out of the air
He is pure awesomeness!!
Both sides of special teams, blocking punts, returning punts, definitely a rare talent.
Of course the video is not available, but I know where to find them. Whenever I'm feeling down I can always find joy watching Ed Reed's highlights.
The way this guy could turn a game around in a flash and the frequency he was able to do it was something we as fans got so used to that it was almost expected. Videos of his highlights really help me appreciate the kind of greatness we had with Reed. The way he combined elite physical talents with savant-level preparation has never been matched by anyone not named Ray Lewis.
Iβm still watching but play number 39, ER fumble to Chris McAlister for a touchdown got me pumped for some football
This is one of the few opportunities I will have to highlight something about Ed, before he had his neck injury he was a great hitter situationally. A lot of us know that. What Iβd like to draw attention to is that his leverage was so perfect on some of these tackles that he doesnβt fall down!!!! He throws himself at the perfect angle & comes back up, and is standing up after knocking his opponent to the ground with maximum velocity. Thatβs how naturally gifted Ed was, that was just part of his makeup. Who else do you see that does that? Or who has done that? Highlight #26 on Dallas Clark is a perfect example, The one against Koren Robinson also
EDIT: The Koren Robinson hit didnβt even make the listπ here it is: https://youtu.be/g3udKjTCWi8
Wrap all of these plays up into individual meatballs, throw em in the oven, and serve them to me for dinner. All 50 of them.
Man this was like stepping into a time machine. So many great old names! Good highlight list; perfect way to start off a Friday-eve
