[Music] hey there this is red it's time for another episode of red blaze so you can see that Eclipse is still out on the board so we've gotten through our setup and round one which I'll put a link up in the corner there for round 1 and we're getting ready to move on to round 2 of Eclipse so what we're seeing right now is we've got two players out of the board there's Beatrice and there's Jocasta and Beatrice as planned going into the game was to expand into the outer rim and do more trade and try to do kind of an economic victory and she's just ran into problems cuz there seems to be ancient ships all over the place hurt I'll draw has caused her her last one she was trying to go here I was gonna be more ancient ships and she's just kind of getting blocked in so things really haven't been going her way she's thinking going into round two she's got one more shot it may be trying to get a tile here and expand out but after that she's gonna have to buckle down and start making bigger badder ships to attack what's going on Jocasta on the other hand things have been going pretty well going into it she wanted to go in and head towards the center and start to build up she's gotten some pretty good tiles going into the middle she's gotten some decent resource ad she had a discovery of some more science she's thinking she's got to figure out how to reinforce and start to build up her forces to go after some of these interior units here and start to challenge towards this center so that's probably where Jocasta will go going into this round so let's get ready for round two and got all of our technologies are out there and so let's start off so Jocasta got this was the first to pass so she got the start player for the start of round 2 what she's looking at it she's got a lot of science right now maybe to take advantage of she has out there there's this orbital technology that's sitting out there that's looking pretty good so I think what Jocasta is gonna do with the spread around to here and she's gonna do a research action so her research action allows her to go grab and she can do one research so she's gonna go grab one tile out of there and she has to pay the cost of that tile and science so if she looks at or below there or rolls have six so let's take a quick look at through orbitals out here all right so what you see on the cost of orbitals there is it's got six and four so that means that the base cost of an orbital is six science so if I were to look on my track over here the orbitals are a part of this nanotechnology track okay so the first one that I get is going to be a full cost but you see these minuses here can i grab another player sheet let's throw that out over here so there's our nano Tech's right the first one is it full cost that says it the next one is going to be at minus one cost minus to cost - so they get cheaper and more that you have them but there's a but they're like these orbitals have a minimum cost right so even if this was the fifth one that I bought along the track which would have like it - 4 or minus 6 cost to it I can't cost less than 4 right so I can't reduce the I can only reduce the cost to a certain point which is indicated on the tile all right so anyway this is the first of that type of technology that Jocasta is buying so it's going to cost her the full 6 so we're gonna drop orbitals now so it's now she should be able to build orbitals and we need to spend 6 science so we're gonna from 12 down to 6 six all right so that's Jocasta stern right so we go back over to Beatrice know Beatrice was thinking she's got to try that level two and I'm gonna do an explore and hopefully have better luck this time so we're gonna draw our level two tile and it is oh that's definitely better all right we're happy with that all right so we have to figure out the orientation of this we want to allow ourselves to get back out to level well orientation is going to matter a whole lot well because we have to place it with wormholes spacing like this there are on the three sides if we rotate it's gonna be exactly the same so we are gonna get is a money and I resources off of that material so that's fantastic we're going to go ahead and influence that one we're gonna use a couple of colony ships one two so we can populate these two planets because they're basic ones and we need a cash money and a materials all right for once things are looking good for Beatrice she's happy with that alright so Beatrice this turn is done we're back over to the Jocasta so Jocasta just bought this fancy new orbital technology we need to figure out how to put it into play so she's now going to use the build action so the build action allows her to build two things so in order to build an orbital it's got a cost of four right here so if she's gonna build two orbitals it's gonna cost her eight which she's only got seven but she can use some of that conversion magic so if we convert to science one two I don't think it's up to eight all right so now we've got eight material let's use that eight material to build two orbitals because two orbitals because we can do to build actions I've got this is a two up here and then a two down here it confuses me anyway all right so we're gonna use up all of our materials build two orbitals now I have to build the orbitals and sectors that I have control of so we'll build an orbital here and an orbital there now the next thing is an orbital can have a science or a money resource cube placed on it so let's we'll flip two of our influencers and we have to decide what we want to go after I think we're gonna go after money take the last few more actions so we'll take two money cubes out and we'll do money money alright so she's up to 8 on the money track so she can go a couple more deeper here which is awesome alright so Acosta's done she's got the orbital action going on now we're back to Beatrice so Beatrice is really happy last round went well what she's looking at is she's up to 6 on the money track she can potentially do another couple actions and she's got a route to get back out to that's the level 3 stuff out there so I think that's what she wants to go after let's go out for this level 3 right here so we're gonna do an explorer ooh if I can stack the things up there we go alright you can do a spore action we're going for level three right there alright so our level three tile is oh there we go she can get more money alright um how does she want to place this I think well right now what are her options so in order to get to this tile she could route through here or I could place this tile like that which would allow her to route into it but it cuts her off from placing any more level three tiles so I think we want to keep on the role of being able to place level three tiles over like this all right she can influence that sector which she'll go ahead and do and then she could potentially populate that and she has a colony ship left so she will go ahead and do that and that's one off of her dollars track all right business is booming for Beatrice she's happy yeah so now we're back over to Jocasta what's Jocasta look at she's got her orbitals out there we can go up to eight on the money she's gonna pull in a lot of money this next round she doesn't have any more materials left she spent those what she's got in stock she doesn't have a whole lot of resources so I think at this point in time what's gonna be her best bet she can't build another orbital research that's out there there's some plasma cannons and gosh shields some fusion source not overly enchanted with what's out there on the research track so what she can do is she can work on upgrading her ships so I think that's what she's gonna do really to get after some of these ancients we need to get our ships into a better but so does she work on maybe upgrading I think what she's gonna do is she's going to yeah we'll do an upgrade action the tough part is deciding which ships to upgrade so to get a cruiser on par with one of the ancient ships really you need maybe another ion cannon and then they're they're pretty equal because you have two ion cannons you'd have two ion cannons get one whole one hull plus one plus one and then the speed there is two and those are two so it really makes them makes it kind of a 50/50 battle between a cruiser and an ancient ship although the ancient ships end up being defenders and defenders get to go first so they would get to shoot first right so they do have a little bit of an advantage but it ends up being pretty close to a 50/50 battle the interceptors on the other hand you need to boost them a decent amount in order to try to take on one of those are a little bit faster so they'd get the first shot but they don't have any hole or anything else the first shot they're gonna take they're gonna be out okay so anyway Jocasta is gonna go to the upgrade so we're gonna spend one and we're gonna upgrade so what we're looking at technology-wise is she could use a technology that she has out there on the track like if we had bought these plasma cannons she could upgrade plasma cannons but we haven't bought anything so that takes us back to only being able to upgrade using the base upgrades that are out there so the base upgrades that are out there are your ion cannon so nuclear source nuclear drive electron computers and your base one hull so I get two upgrades that I can use so I'm gonna grab my big tray of upgrades here and I think what I'm going to go after is a couple of ion cannons so I get two so I'm gonna grab one ion cannon two ion cannons I have two ion cannons at this point I'm gonna drop one ion cannon they're gonna drop one ion cannon here so that way we'll roll two dice on the attacks so I'll be interested to see in the comments if people would rather go with ion cannons or would they upgrade their electron computers or maybe I should do make a super Cruiser with three cannons on Oh No so let me know what you think in the comments what's what's the best strategy Jocasta second that's the way that she wants to go though right now it's multiple ion cannons so more guns alright so Jocasta is done at this point in time we're back over to Beatrice so what Beatrice is looking at is she's making eight which is pretty good on this possibility to drop a three there has opened up so she thinks she's gonna go after that and do yet another explore action alright so we're gonna grab another three and what we get is oh we're gonna get some tech all right well if she decides to influence it which is gonna cost her ten she can afford it so what he's gonna do it um let's see how do we want to place this let's place this like that I need another there we go we'll go this way yep I think yeah we'll go that way alright so we're gonna drop a discovery out there discovery to be discovered and so the next choice is do we want to influence that in order to get that discovery the answer to that question is yes alright so now we've got our discovery and we could keep it for the two victory points or we can get Oh is that what is that is that one victory for every three victory points I don't know what that discovery means is it in our handy-dandy reference here yes alright so in our handy-dandy reference this is why this is pretty cool ooh sorry messing my stuff up there this says ancient might so actually it's listed right there at the bottom ancient might at the end of the game gain one VP for each three PP you have and reputation tile value we will not worry about that Oh which one keep the two victory points or keep the the battling victory points I think we'll just stick with the raw two victory points okay so Beatrice is done there would have hoping to got some resources or something else a little bit more neat but that'll work we'll go with that alright we're back over to Jocasta so what's terkoz to look at she's upgraded her ships a little bit the ships that are around her are probably a little bit big to take on so I think she's gonna want to do some exploring she can explore here she could do another level one here and maybe linked up with Beatrice over there and potentially start taking out Beatrice as stuff or she could go here if she can't go there because there's no wormhole so here here or here I think we'll go let's go here that would be a sector two so we do an explore and we need a sector two tile and we get oh very similar to what we just got with Beatrice let's see here how do we want to place this know that it matters a whole lot let's go well I'm destroying my galaxy okay let's go like this oh no that's kind of silly how does to get to anything oh no matter which way I place this oh there we go oh yeah let's go like this OOP here we go alright so I need a discovery and then let's decide whether I want to influence this or not so right now we're at seven we're gonna bring in eight I can do that but that's gonna bump us up to ten and we're not getting resources from going after that which is a little bit on the scary side I think we will do this we will go ahead and influence this sector and see what we get so we get ooh that's interesting a rift conductor so we get a technology and we could drop that on one of our ships [Music] or I can set it aside and use it later so what I can do is I could drop it in the space of one of the ships it's gonna take a power in order to power that it's gonna give me one hole and one energy so I was talking earlier about what makes my ships more powerful that mm that's that's a that's a tough decision there so let's take a look at our player aid here and see what it says about the rift conductor upgrade your ships blueprint with the rift cannon shipped ship part oh that's the rift cannon where's the rift conductor there it is the rift conductor so that's gonna give me that's gonna give me a rift cannon a rift cannon and a hole oh wow that's craziness I think we're gonna put that under interceptors yep alright so rift kid rift conductor is gonna go under interceptors that seems like a really good find and worth that but also seems pretty scary if you haven't seen the rift dice let's grab the rift dice out because this is probably the best place with this so when you do combat you're gonna roll dice right Hey so here's an example of the data to roll all right let's go over combat really fast in the case of an ion cannon you would use these yellow dice which I have way over here all right so grab a few of those out so I can show what these look like okay so if I use a rift cannon I would roll one of these yellow dice maybe if I do this there we go there we go that's what we want okay and if you see it's like a six-sided dice what happens when you roll is this is replaces the ones there's an automatic miss if you roll a one and on a hit a six is not a medikit so on a on your ion cannons they do one damage okay what's interesting is we have these rift cannons and a rift cannon has the ability to thursday miss there is a a hit for damage a hit for two damage there's actually two misses so you have miss and miss hit for damage hit for two damage this is a you damage yourself and this is a you do three damage and damage yourself so they're a little bit on the unpredictable side but lots of fun so Jocasta is looking at having some fun pretty soon so all right cool we'll put that on our interceptors that makes me want to build interceptors and then maybe we can see what they can do all right so Jocasta is done for this turn the other thing that she's looking at is she just went up she's at 8 and now she's at 10 so this is probably gonna be the last thing that she's gonna do this round alright so we'll go over to Beatrice Beatrice is looking at if she's she's also in the same boat where she's at 8 and 10 so doing more would be really expensive for her so Beatrice at this point is gonna pass and she's gonna take the start player so she's gonna go up to on the money track so she'll go up to 4 she passes and then goes over to Jocasta Jocasta is looking at 10 she's gonna make 8 she's gonna need to figure out how to make up some of that money which she's got she should be okay she doesn't want to push it up too because the next one is 13 that's a lot of cost 13 is a pretty heavy cost so she's gonna stay stay she can do another pass also alright so if she does it pass so he interested a pass Jocasta does a pass alright so that's gonna be the end of round 2 let's go down our our list of things here so we've done all of our actions at this point in time there is no combat going on so now upkeep is there any colonization we need to do noop so now we're gonna collect income and pay civilization upkeep costs so let's start with jocasta here first our income is going to be 8 our cost is going to be 10 so we've got a net of 2 loss there so our money's gonna go down to we're gonna go from 4 down to 2 more science until stays at 4 for now alright so let's look at Beatrice Beatrice has got she's bringing in 8 it was gonna cost 10 so she's gonna get a net of minus 2 so she's going to go from 4 down to 2 also all right next up we did our monies that's her money's never get our production so production wise on Jocasta she's gonna get for science and three material so science will go up to eight the material will go up to 300 get out of there there we go all right for Beatrice she has three science and four material so her science will go up to nine and her material will go up to ten all right so we've done our received production now we're gonna get our influence disks back all right interesting there it's looking like Beatrice's expanded out a bit more than Jocasta has at this point in time all right now we're gonna get our more technologies all right let's see what we get five more technologies one two three four five six which actually works out actually we're gonna we have two rare technologies so I need another one more all right actually I didn't put warp portals in so I'm gonna take war portal and I believe it will just have nobody by it because more portals don't do us any good in this game all right so this more portals down here I take the warp stuff out snow now somebody can actually buy rift cannons which is interesting we have monoliths again positron computers again fusion source again who advanced robotics so this is one of those ones that lets you bring out an influence disk and monoliths yet again we get a huge stack of monoliths okay so we did our get tech flip our colonies and our action stuff face up colony colony all right advance around marker all right around three okay so I think this is gonna be around two and three video because round two went pretty fast so let's do round three it's around three Beatrice has struck player this round so let's see what she wants to do so what did we come up with last round so we're starting off at three on our cost track and we're bringing in eight our ability to go out to three is right here we've got one more three we're aiming for Beatrice to be the master of the outer rim I think we have to go after that third sector and see what it is so no she's gonna do an explorer and let's go see what's in the remaining sector of the outer rim but I need one more hex thing okay I think I got it there we go so we're exploring right here locked in our last level 3 sector says oh it's a maintance ok so we don't get it dominate it right away this can be some work how do we want to place that well we don't need to go out to the threes anymore so this is a really gonna matter how it gets placed we'll just drop it like that ok so we're gonna put a discovery tile on there and one ancient on there all right that was Beatrice so next we're back to Jocasta so Jocasta has got this cool technology at this point in time she really wants to build some more interceptors cuz you just get a toy you want to play with it right promise she's kind of low on materials she could build them up well she can go okay so we're gonna do some craziness here what she's gonna do is she's going to do a build action so we move this over we're gonna do a build action so allows us to build too we want to build two more interceptors which is gonna cost us six material so we're gonna use three of this and then we're gonna use six of our science as we trade it in to build two interceptors but this is probably totally not tactic sound tactics but we're having fun guys we get to build two interceptors what are we gonna put him at what do we want to go after so if we do a move action and we get to move we do three moves but they only get to move one so what do we want to do we want to go after this guy with our crazy rift cannon apparatus so he's got two hull woo he shoots a lot he will probably take us out with retaliatory fire or we can go after let's go here we'll go here in the hopes that we can get in there and at least take out one of their airships well I could build yeah it doesn't really matter well built there alright so that was Jocasta doing a build action alright so now we're back over to Beatrice so Beatrice at this point in time what are we looking at we've got five and we're gonna bring in eight so if we do another action it's gonna cost us seven so what do we want to explore again maybe go after some of the internal stuff or do we want to start working on building up our because we've got a lot of science well let's see what's on the science track that's interesting so the plasma cannons are kind of interesting the neutron bombs so the quantum grid is pretty cool but it's way out there so advanced robotics is a good thing to get I think we'll go ahead and pick up the advanced robotics so we're going to we're gonna do a research so our research for advanced robotics is going to cost us eight so we're gonna go down to one so we're gonna grab advanced robotics so if you look at advanced robotics what advanced robotics does is it's going to give you another disk so this is why you've got the extras in your tray there so I'm gonna reach over and I'm gonna drop a disc right there there we go all right so we had got some advanced robotics so we're back to Jocasta at this point in time switch Acosta's got those ships I guess we're going to explore what combat looks like so she's got eight we're gonna go ahead well do we want to upgrade going into this so we could right now what we're looking at is I could do an upgrade and maybe replace the ion cannon with hull so we can take a couple of shots so right now we've got one hull we could have two whole on them or I could just stick with the ion cannon and hope for six is if we attack with the ion cannons to actually I think what I'm gonna do is we will do an yep no yes yes we're gonna do the move go ahead move let's move those guys in there you guys are gonna fly into this sector we'll see how this battle goes all right so she's gonna do a move action all right so that that's one of the things is combat is entirely separate phase in this game and everybody's gonna go through their actions and then we'll move into another phase which is the combat phase all right so that's true Costas action for that turn we're back over to Beatrice so Beatrice has a lot of material we just researched advanced robotics so we could do some exploring let's I think that's what we'll do is we'll explore we've done a but we've got the full outer rim let's try to fill in a little bit of this inside so these are gonna be level ones here so we can go either to this level one or we can go to this level one let's go to this level one the thing is there we afraid of Jocasta over here with those crazy rift cannons we might be let's do this level one right here and see what we come up with so we'll do an explorer we're gonna go for this one that's a level one we get oh that's a pretty good choice we're good with that alright let's go this way alright so when you drop an influence disc there and then we've got a science and materials so let's populate those babies two reels in science all right so let's look at Jocasta so what I was debating last time was whether Jocasta wanted to upgrade her ships before she went into combat that's still not off the table even though my ships have moved into that sector I can still since we're still in our action phase I can still do an upgrade and then do two upgrades and upgrade my interceptors if I wanted to what I'm looking at is I've got eight on the money track I've got seven over here if I work to defeat those ships I would potentially want to influence that sector right afterwards which would mean I would need to take a disk off of my track so if I were to upgrade and then try to influence it would cost me I would be sitting at ten but if I were to influence that there's some population that I could draw up there that would allow me to upgrade the amount of money that I would bring in so I think what we're going to do is we're gonna upgrade so I'm gonna take this I'm gonna drop it on the upgrade track and I get two upgrades all right I think what I want to do for upgrades is I don't think that that ion cannon is doing me a lot of good and we'll concentrate on our rift cannons so what we can replace that with we can replace that with some whole I think let's give us a little bit more staying power so we can get one whole upgrade which will drop there and I have another upgrade that I can use so where do I want to put it at let me go ahead and go over and add another let's add an electron computer to our dreadknot I'll make him more accurate all right all right so we're gonna take this hold we're gonna drop it on our interceptor over our ion cannon and we're gonna take this electron computer and put it on our dreadknot so it hits more often don't have any dreadnoughts but we'll just have it ready to go for when we build a dreadnought in the near future okay so the cost is done we're back over to Beatrice so Beatrice is at 10 she's got eight right now that she's bringing in I don't think that she wants to do any more at this point in time so she's gonna pass she's gonna get the start player she will move up to four and she passes okay so Jocasta thinks she's ready for battle at this point in time she wants to save some of her potential money here in case she wants to take over that sector because she wins some fantastic victory all right so she's finished ok so we're done with if we look at our action phase we're done with our action phase now now we go to combat phase all right so looking at combat phase what we're gonna see here is there are multiple combats going on we would look at the numbers that are in the corners of the sector's so like here's the sector that I'd kicked out earlier you see it's 214 all right you're gonna go in reverse order so they're gonna work from the outside in it's like we have 302 over here but we've only got one sector with combat and that's 109 right here so this is gonna be our first combat all right now the way that you resolve combat is I've got two ancient ships and two interceptors so we're gonna look at is who goes first how you determine who goes first is the number of initiative on the ships so if I look at the blueprint for these guys the ancients they have to initiative I look at the blueprint on my interceptors they have 1/2 plus 1/3 so they have 3 initiative so they're going to go first I get to shoot first big bonus if there is a tie ties go to the defender so had I been in there with a cruiser that's got two and they have two they would shoot first all right so what I'm looking at is I have my two interceptors they each other rift cannon so I have two rift cannon so I'm gonna shoot my rift cannon so this is gonna be rip ok so what I'm looking at is I'm taking two damage and doing three damage alright I'm gonna reach over here that's why you have these little purple cubes as they're supposed to mark damage let's pull out some of the purple cubes alright so I've got it twice at this point in time on how I want to take damage now the when I assigned damage I have to assign all three in one shot so my three damage will be enough to take out one ship I can't have one go over to this ship but I can do three to one so boom I kill off one of the Ancients and then this guy right here I can't touch because I didn't do any damage but I'm gonna take one two damage so each of my ships will take one damage alright because they have one they've got a whole whole they can take two damage plus a third one finally wipes them out alright so that was my attack on the agent so at this point the ancients gonna shoot back at me all right he has to ion cannon so he's gonna have to dice and then his two ion cannons get a +1 to hit so he's gonna hit on five four sixes so what I see there is a star so that's a hit and this is a four plus one is five so that's not enough to hit he didn't get a six so he gets one hit alright it takes three to wipe out any of my ships so we're still in it alright so I'm going to continue attacking I could decide to retreat at this point in time and if I were to decide to retreat I don't get to attack he gets a parting shot and then I get out of the way but we're gonna press the attack because I think it's going in my favor right now okay so I have a hit and then three hits so that's gonna be enough to take him out but I'm gonna take a damage I'm gonna put that damage on this ship over here all right because they can take two and then the next one would wipe them out so actually my three for damage is enough to take that ancient out all right cool so at the end of combat the end of this combat round the damage is going to flush so I'm just going to go away my ships are gonna get better I have the choice at this point in time of whether I want to influence that sector and okay before we go there we should look at is after I'm done doing combat I need to figure out what I get for victory points and I think it has it here there we go okay so we're gonna go to this this reputation beast right so I was in a battle so because I was in a battle I'm gonna get one dial I destroyed two agents so I'm gonna get two more tiles so I'm gonna grab three tiles I'm gonna grab out of this bag right here which is a reputation that's a reputation bag yeah I grabbed three tiles one two three so I got three I'm gonna look at these and I've got a 1 a 1 and a 2 and I'm gonna decide which one I want to keep well that's pretty obvious which one I want to keep visit to and I take the two I'm gonna drop it over here on my track put the other two back into the bag all right so there's actually like fours and threes in there so I got a pretty lame draw actually but I've got two victory points now the other thing is I can only do that I can only get three more of those to fill in there so I've got a just being in battle helps if I would have retreated from the battle the one that I'd get for being in battle by default I would not earn right I would only get things for ones for things destroyed all right um let's see here can be back on track here so our combat is done at this point in time I've gotten my tiles I think I want to go after influence and go after this discovery so you'll influence this I'll get this discovery so I can either get two victory points or I think that is the lowest technology on the technology track I remember right does it show it on here where's that there it is ancient tech shows it on our discovery tiles on the back here right so what I got that time was ancient tech take the regular tech tile with the lowest printed cost you don't already own from the tech tree and place it on your species board for free so I could grab neutron bombs or Gus shields I think what I will do is I will go ahead and take I was thinking neutron bombs but part of this decision also comes down to what do I want to build into and I kind of like the idea of the plasma cannons so let's take the neutron bombs interesting thing about the neutron bombs if I take them as the cheapest one is that builds me up so I have a minus one already so the next one is gonna get me minus 2 so I could buy the plasma cannons for 4 which is a pretty cool thing all right I'm actually let's set these over here so we know what we did later on with jocasta okay so combats done I've influenced that tile I've gotten a discovery I can do some colonization here so let's get some some materials making and some resource making all right so that worked out in my favorite I could have gone badly but it went well so actually we're kind of getting into the upkeep phase right here right so we did the we did our imposing ships we did our battle we after all battles in the sector draws reputation tiles so I did my reputation tiles there wasn't any population to attack I did my influencing of the sector I got my discovery tiles and then I did my repair of my damage alright so actually we kind of get into the upkeep phase at this point in time where I am using colony ships and sectors without opponent ships to drop my cubes down there so the next step is gonna be we're gonna get into our collect income and pay civilization of food costs alright so this worked out well let's do Jocasta first this worked out well for Jocasta because now she's gonna collect in ten income and have a cost of ten so she breaks even all right way to go all right on Beatrice's side of the board we've got a ten cost but we're bringing in eight so we got a net loss of two so our money is at four so we'll go down to two that's not too horrible all right so now we're done with our upkeep now let's do some production so we're gonna get our Jocasta is going to get four material and for science so our material goes up to four Oh if I can make it commended the thing so for their science is gonna go up for from two to six okay on Beatrice the side of the board she's getting six material and for science so her material is all the way up to 16 and her science is up to four I think she's gonna be having a building round pretty soon here her motto will surface all right so we've gotten our stuffs at this point returned influence disks so 2/3 of that [Music] okay let's get that off sorry that's in the way all right so now for Jocasta return her influence disks one two three all right so we're looking pretty even on our galactic influence at this point in time no we're done with influence disks we are getting technologies of five technologies one two three four five all right so this is ooh advanced labs so that is probably a cool one to go we got advanced labs advanced mining wormhole generators Starbase and antimatter cannons so let's talk about why I'm wingin dying about these two right here so advanced mining in advanced labs what those do is they open up these sectors right here that have the stars on them so if beatriz were to get advanced labs we're looking at she could gain at tile our drop population there that's about it on Jocasta side she could get that one that's well she could also drop one there too so she could drop to science on the mining side she could drop the mining there um is there any sitting out here for mining it doesn't look like it so oh yeah there's one one over there so she could get one for mining so it opens up some more resources that are possible if you look at if she starts to spring ships over here there's a mining there and a mining there advanced so that would open up a lot so interesting those can be really nice to get this next round alright so the last piece there is flip our colony ships and flip our turn markers back over so flip flip flip flip we're all good there advance our turn marker and we're getting ready to start turn number four so I think that's where we'll stop with this round so we did round ones in the first video the second video we've got rounds two and three well we're looking at four rounds maybe four and five in the next video these rift cannon ships look like a lot of fun it would be good to build more of them or maybe upgrade them we'll have to figure out what Jocasta does with her crazy rift cannons stuff I don't think they're quite ready to go after the galactic core so the interesting thing about those ships is you can shoot and you can do up to three damage right the galactic cores got seven and they would have initiative so they would get to do a lot of attack the problem is the retaliation if I got four interceptors in there I might be able to take out the galactic core with jocasta that's yeah we'll have to figure that one out Beatrice on the other side has expanded her realm pretty wide probably as big as it's gonna get without her starting to build up some ships and she's got a lot of materials at this point in time so I think it's time for her to start dropping in Armada out there she doesn't have a lot of science built up so she dirt she could turn her materials into science to get some nice science stuff but she's also got the possibility she could drop two dreadnoughts on her turn which are some pretty big ships and could help clear out a lot of this stuff that's out there so could be a really interesting turn on Beatrice beefing up her army and going after some of those agents that are sitting out there so I see a lot of combat in the near future so that's it for now if you
