Eating The Best Reviewed MEXICAN FOOD in Oregon...(GIANT SIZE)

what's up guys we're in medford oregon right now probably the whitest town i have ever been in and i'm half white so i could say that but behind me is a five-star mexican spot so let's go see what they know about mexican food here in oregon come on kids eat for one dollar and i'm only four today wow wow okay so they know something about this because i feel like i'm home and they got beer they got beer look at the colors of the boots like you don't just see this at any mexican spot like that must have costed them some good money in mexico like a 15-hour drive they had to haul all that over exactly they know what they're doing so far so far so good let's see how the food is so so this place is called el mocajete i don't know what that means like i said i'm only half mexican hello quick question what does that mean so the picture at the bottom that's called oh so it's just like to make your guacamole uh or any type of salsa oh learn something new every day guys thank you sir we'll be late sweet thank you so much this is amazing the first thing that they serve you is some chips with some beans if you've ever had bean dip before you know that's a good mexican spot i've only been there one minute i've only been one restaurant in la that's ever done this before so i'm super stoked good thank you something to drink we're super excited i saw there's bean dip i'm happy right now for sure but this is really good no we haven't opened we're from los angeles [Music] because we were like there's not many restaurants out here in medford yeah no a lot of people that travel through here we get a lot of people that travel through here just from the uh comments on yelp oh yeah that's where we found it yeah right on sweet well we're excited to try some uh some food but definitely want to get some beers going so two pacific yesterday 16 or 22 ounces anytime they give you an option for the biggest size you always get the bigger sauce yeah and this this ain't even texas but you know what go big or go home okay so let's dive into this menu and let's see what we're working with here right here it's got a little bit of everything you get nachos chicken wings jalapeno poppers chicken taquitos quesadillas that's a little bit of everything if you ask me man the one good thing that came out of this you know mexican restaurant in a primarily white neighborhood is at least they kept the mexican prices am i right yeah now let's just hope they're the white people's sizes because then we get a lot of food for a little month look the tortilla chips here are yellow that's a little interesting but let's go for it okay so i'm gonna get into this bean dip do a little bit of queso on there [Music] i think they should serve bean dip instead of salsa all the time that's delicious it's just an enjoyable way to eat chips if you've never dipped it in some beans before preferably refried get out there get a can and try it speak on the chip i feel like it's a less like yeah i feel like it's almost like a it almost feels like it's a baked chip rather than like a fried chip it might be big it's not greasy it's not oily and it's got very little salt on it which i personally enjoy because i have high sodium levels inside of me high cholesterol so i'm enjoying it so far we should ask if they're baked chips [Music] tastes good though it tastes really good all right okay we'll get this and we'll get the tacos i'll come on literally landing where we first stopped our eyes yeah that's the way it looks that's the way it goes look first thing you see is usually the best choice well stick with your gut your gut knows you better yeah in this case my gut don't know me very well because i mean refried beans and jake that's gonna do something to me and we got a four hour drive good luck check this out guys beer is bigger than my head so at least we know because sometimes you guys be like you got a big head nah i got a 22 ounce head cheers i'm gonna make the clink nothing like a frozen glass man ice cold beer literally goes down better than anything else i just got saved we're looking a little chunky it's okay we like bear yeah and literally the moment i land back in los angeles california one day later i'm going to hawaii so uh this hawaii bod it ain't going to be there and then one day after brennan lands back in hawaii i go to hawaii so these bots ain't going to be there i'm going to get this sampler okay okay the question was the salsa like is this homemade yeah everything yeah so so the chips come in a regular tortilla and they cut them up here and deep fry them oh wow they weren't oily yeah they might have been like oven baked yeah no we deep fry them and they sit in the containers okay and then they throw them in the like an oven type of thing awesome we got our order in now let's wait but i think in the meantime jake your stomach was making noises on the way here yeah i think it's time for number two go for your bathroom review [Music] and this is jake's bathroom from you it's kind of a kind of a scary little restroom this barn door vibe i don't go with it urinal love that this is kind of small but it's clean it literally smells like they just cleaned it right now and i could love i love it here bathroom's really clean just a little odd kind of low light situation but the rest of the restaurant is way way way more beautiful it just smells so good in here it's coming in who's here okay so the food just got here it looks insane i don't even know what to say this literally looks like like the place that they put it on is like a platter for a whole entire family let alone one person so they definitely are keeping what i said in the beginning the white culture portion sizes are here but with the mexican culture prices god we need to take some shots of this shot i don't even know how we're gonna get a thumbnail these plates are hot so the first thing i want to talk about is the meal that's right in front of me so i saw all these wings on the side and i was thinking to myself like oh great chicken wings at a mexican spot but then i just checked the menu and it says jalapeno peppers so i started looking at these chicken wings a little more and these three look a little different than the other wings so i'm guessing what's inside of them is a jalapeno yeah that's going to be busting you never had one before uh not like this this guy is not very cultured for the amount of food that see jalapeno pepper before but never like this where it looks like a little chicken wing so i'm gonna go for the first bite i want to go for is a nacho look at this oh oh my god i'm lactose mold oh my god it's like premium taco bell meat like gourmet talk about meat i'm nachos that was close to it whoa wow nothing of their food is oily or greasy in any way whatsoever which is like even the cheese that's on it should be greasy it looks good like they have high quality ingredients here and so far all i had was nachos oh wow i know i know the beans are good yeah we're just starting with yours right i'll guess let's go for this thing first over here okay so what do you think this could be i mean this is probably the quesadilla it looks like there's cheese and chicken yeah because we got a little mix up the menu says we got chicken taquitos quesadilla and taquitos rancheros how do i know which one's which this looks like a chicken oh excuse me could you help me out so i was looking at the menu i know it says there's a quesadilla in here uh-huh which one's that so lipton's soap oh it's i don't no they're not in actually you know what i'll go get them okay okay but these are chicken taquitos with flour tortillas um there were some with corn shells no we didn't necessarily no all right let me go get those okay thank you thank you i guess we're missing more and honestly with the size of this plate we wouldn't have even known had we not asked i would have thought everything was here but we're missing two items from our house wow but it's okay let's start this let's go for this this is the chicken taquito with a tor uh flower treasure here let's go for it oh my god oh my god i think this might be better than some mexican spots you know like the chicken is so so juicy so juicy but it's literally just like it's it's it's a shredded chicken too like how is there so much juice in a shred of chicken man i love that oh my god fluffiness but at the same time the crunch from the tortilla literally like when i lose all my teeth i can still eat that oh god man it's and like sometimes when you eat a taquito it's overpowered by the tortilla there's more tortilla than protein inside not in this case this is the biggest taquito i've ever seen yeah look at the girth of this thing that's not your average taquito guys no it's average size of me though it's a little bigger than me so now let's go into these jalapeno peppers and let's see what we're working with here my good friend yeah oh my god the sour fern man cream cheese that's my man cream cheese wow wow your whole jalapeno flour yeah i'll put it back in wow that's good the only way i've had jalapeno poppers was that tick tock life hack where you cut open a jalapeno stick some uh cream cheese down there and then a taki but this this is like creamy spicy delicious all in one you don't need that little crunch the breading on is so good how did they throw this in the deep fryer without it falling apart i don't know it was a good question because it literally came out like a chicken nugget but there's a lot in there all right we're gonna try the tacos el car bones they look crazy and hot let's go for it that beef man melts in your mouth let me try just this little meat right here oh my god [Music] i might need to buy this french house and bring it to l.a oregon knows what's up i'm actually kind of excited for the rest of the trip this is the first video on our trip guys and so far so good wow let's see what a mexican chicken wing is like okay because there's no buffalo sauce on here it's literally just a chicken wing let's see if they season it or anything oh my god it's like kfc just some delicious fried chicken wings there's no there's not really like a a seasoning but they cook the chicken so perfect that the chicken still has like the natural chicken flavors in it where it's good it's not like you're just chewing rubber remind you everything's so piping hot sauce which is hard because he goes away really fast these guys are on here though their menu is so wide and so vast there's so many options for literally anyone who can come in here there's going to be something for you we usually put lime on everything but i don't even think i need it on anything but it's definitely good on that on this yeah man like this is just so much food i'm feeling full just looking at it to be honest i think the best thing we eat is this tahito the tortilla is so thick but it doesn't overbear the the insides of it and they're not skimping nothing they literally overdo it i'm like this is too much food guy for the price yeah and he's like we've got a couple things come out with a whole second plate he's going to i think we can go home after this because this is a good brush look while we're on the topic of going home i want to show you guys this merch that i have actually back home that i can the guac and the sour cream that's nice you can literally just eat the chip after eating with it all in there yeah thank you so much welcome so you see the taquito rancheros they have piccadillo and cheese and they're rolled up with the corn potatoes perfect and these are the chicken quesadillas perfect okay okay so they forgot a couple pieces of our item but we got them now we got the quesadilla and we got the beef taquitos here so jake we have to dig in and we have to try i'm gonna put a little sour cream and guac because that's how i like my quesadillas let's go for it i will say that next thing we got here is our corn tortilla beef taquitos these things are hard they're hot and they're ready to go your savage bye tongue bye tongue [Music] [Music] literally it makes me feel like i'm in mexico again i got a street sandwich yeah that's literally what you would get even this quesadilla like it's very uh authentic um it just didn't have a lot inside of it for us our boy over here just hooked us up look at this we're doing shots yeah that's nice all right well hey we got a lot more to do so let's uh get the check let's get on what a guy he's a good guy okay guys so the check just got here the total is 48 and 40 cents and honestly that is a hell of a deal for all the food that we got two beers like this is the spot to come if you want to make your money worth it and make your
