[Music] hi guys i'm zhang jian long guest welcome to Asian and town and today I'm going to show you how to make chicken chow mein my chicken chow mein it is rum shits it's like I'm talking about it teaching about it my mouth is watering so you've got to try at home it's really easy to make so let's get started first you will need to marinate the chicken so the chicken itself has amazing flavor in it I'm using one bone mass and skinless chicken breast it's about half pounds sliced chicken thinly into bite sizes put slice the chicken into a mixing bowl and the one teaspoon of soy sauce 1 tablespoon of xiaochun wine a Chinese cooking wine don't worry if you don't have it you can use a regular rice wine or try the sherry 1/2 teaspoon of Chinese five-spice 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda baking soda will tenderize the chicken breast and keep it moist and a pinch of black pepper mix everything well onto chicken is it coated with the marinade evenly so set aside the chicken now we are going to make the real simple delicious sauce all you need is a 1/2 cup of chicken stock and 3 tablespoons of oyster sauce combine them together your sauce is ready super easy right now it's time for the vegetables but this is beautiful fragrance vegetables I choose to use 2 deep cloves of garlic finely chopped it's about a tablespoon custom size of a fresh ginger finely chopped it's about 1/2 that's why I love it so much but if you cannot find these definitely use are the dried one to try the egg noodles you just need to a pour hot water and whenever they get loosen and get softer and drain it do not cook it like fully cook them it will be just overcooked later on because it would be cooking in the walkway that the vegetables in the sauce turn my stove over high heat the highest it okay alright so my oil is a hot now I'm going to edit this fragrance vegetables the garlic ginger and chili let all the fragrance coming out to the oil about 30 to 45 seconds just don't cook them too long because they will burn and you don't want that so now I can smell with this beautiful aroma I'm going to add the mushrooms member and baby bok choy yeah baby bok choy stir-fry about one minute or until the vegetables just substance now time to add the noodles and the sauce yeah let's do this mix everything well and you will see the start is really watery now but by the time when the noodle is fully cooked the sauce is just enough just coated everything just delicious boy you just have to keep stirring so they will evenly cook and evenly observer or the sauce and the stuff it would take about 1 to 2 minutes all right you see no sauce in here right now because all the noodles of job the sauce now time to add the chicken the bean sprouts and the green onions and just start frying away I don't know either when I'm start prying I like shake my butt too so after add the bean sprouts and green onions just mix them really well and let them cook in that heat about 30 seconds to 1 minutes but do not overcook them because you still want the crunch crunch fight alright now I'm going to turn up the heat and we are done I'm going to serve on a plate Oh Oh My Damn look at this baby yes what we are not done yet because we have to finish with some sesame oil and sesame seeds that last nutty touch so just a bit of sesame oil it's a little drizzle and that little last touch of
