Easy and Fast Plastic Recasting Tutorial

foreign [Music] so I'm gonna teach you how to do it in a simple and fast way so as you can see this one's missing apart so that's what we're going to recast so so we're gonna need some material so this one's called the blue stuff or sometimes they call it oyumaru [Music] next one is thermoplastic beads and a cup and hot water so we're gonna put the hot water then you put the first side of the blue stuff so when it's pliable already I'm gonna put the part that we're going to copy so you need to press all the sides and put a mark so later we can align the the other side so here's the other part so we're going to cover this part so that we can complete the mold we'll let it dry for a few minutes then we're going to remove the original part inside so it's pretty much easy to remove the part just be careful okay so we have uh mode now so here there it is next is we're going to use the thermoplastic beads and we're gonna melt it so as you can see here it's already melted so we also careful because this is really hot so it might Scorch your hand or anything so that's why I'm using a stick you put it there while it's still soft then we put the top part over it then we're gonna press really hard to to put out the excess plastic so as you can see here it's already hardened so we're gonna open it now [Music] careful and removing the top part see as you can see here's the part foreign part so here it is so pretty much they look the same as you can see we just need to remove the excess thermal bead plastic on the sides there's a modeling knife so let's remove the extra Plastics so this part is not really hard but it's really tedious to remove the plastic so almost there here you go shaping like the original part already see so here's the product they look the same you just need to test fit so it's not really fitting well so we need to do some adjustment remove some extra plastic because it's not fitting well okay so let's try again so it's much looks much better it's still not fitting okay so we need to drill the hole because in the other part there's a peg in there so we need to put a hole so drilling hole so I'm ready connected so not perfectly but works it does the job so here it is I connected it in the arm looking good so far and here's the original part there you go so it doesn't look really perfect but it really does the job for when you need some parts that really hard to find so you can just copy it and request it so here are the other examples that I made thanks for watching and don't forget to comment down below what you think see you next time [Music]
