it's an exciting time to be an Eagles fan and to be an eagle the only direction is Decline and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win it by 16. losses in some regards can make you better get on the right path thanks coach when you lose everything that's borderline is no we got to correct all of this everything gets put under a microscope the only direction is to rise up and I think that's the expectation for us this was a playoff team with a rookie head coach yes they made the playoffs they had one win versus a winning football team last year Jalen hurts is entering a crucial season he's a Young quarterback that has a lot of dynamic ability to run with the football he puts a lot of pressure on the defense with his legs they're very happy with the job that he did last season but he hasn't proven that he's the guy that can lead us to a Super Bowl and we're going to support Jalen and want him to have a great career in Philly you got to go out there and prove it that's the way this game works certainly the way the City Works the expectations are so high now can you take this team to the promised land we have a lot of talent I feel like this team could be special we know that we have a good strong base of our team that we're really confident in and we just want to give that better because everybody succeeds Hassan Reddick the former Temple owl now a Philadelphia Eagle a big get for Howie Rosen and the Eagles I don't think the story could have been written any better to play in Philadelphia I worked really hard to get to where I'm at today CJ Gardner John's a guy who is impactful in more ways than one Jason Kelsey officially back with the Eagles and it's a big deal he is a pillar of this franchise with the 13th pick the Philadelphia Eagles select Jordan how you doing do we respond as a team and just the mindset basically of you know making sure we still taking care of little things after a loss especially we always double down on those fundamentals the process you know I think that's what we did this week so far it's been a great week a massive addition literally massive the Eagles are signing Limbaugh Joseph and ndamukin Sue we get back to our process everything else takes care of itself hopefully that defensive get out there and get this Tempo set early and damakong Soo Lin Val Joseph that's 700 pounds on his back those guys are contribute the way very hard throughout the week I just want to play I'm gonna go out there and prepare to play our best game when we need it most this game also has so many story lines the youngest quarterback matchup ever in Super Bowl history Eagles and Chiefs are first and second in sacks in 2022 and big red going up against his former team in the Eagles the Kelsey Brothers how dare your brother the Super Bowl it's just amazing that they've been able to both get to this point in their careers it's obviously something I've dreamed about since a little kid playing Madden the culmination of everything that we've worked towards for the past five years coming to fruition who knows when you'll be able to be in this situation again bringing it back to where it belongs and that's in Philadelphia Super Bowl 57 has finally arrived live from State Farm stadium in Arizona I mean we step out between the lines I only want you to think about one day every day we did the deal all of our story different and we're here for a reason we all came together for a reason I've dreamed about this since I've been two years old we've all been dreaming of it the two best teams in football are about to collage we start with the Philadelphia Eagles across the league regarded as the best roster top to bottom they don't get no better than this the Kansas City Chiefs the MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes they have a lot of talent around him the other Kelsey I think his name is privacy I ain't gonna lie I'm nervous [Music] bro [Music] steps up he's going to run he is across the 40 goes to Midfield and Beyond versus the 10th at the Chiefs 35. now fires over the middle and completes it and breaking away as Devonte Smith to the 15 and down to the turn Jalen hurts is 30 for 34 and quarterback sneaks he's in first half huh 30 more minutes a lot of ball left you know what I mean and they're a really good team we have seen a lot over the course of the first half of play 38 points scored a lot of dominance by The Eagles they're gonna be the best in the world Chiefs come from a 10-point deficit to take a 28-27 lead Mahomes man wide open TouchDown Chiefs at Sky Moore 35-27 Keith let's go first to ten her test them on the move he is going deep he's got Devonte Smith Out of Bounds at the one they push they sneak and they're in for the touchdown they're down 35-33 hey we're going for two hurts it's going to run he rolls and he is and ever tied it was one of those things where probably whoever had the ball lasts was going to be in a good situation first down for the chief this game is going down to the journey was special we were close and all that does is make me hungrier to get back they had an outstanding season thank you I'm proud of my teammates don't forget what you did this year it's gonna only serve as well for next year you either win or you learn that's how I feel it hurts it hurts it hurts a lot I have full confidence that we'll have a great team next year I'll never forget this team but Philly gonna be stronger next year more determined driven to make that climb again to get back to the top I know that the only direction is to rise this is mine baby aren't you glad he's
