Dunk League: $50,000 Dunk Contest | Season 2 FULL

[Music] we've reached the end of the road and now we're headed to the land of Rucker at West 4th the mecca of streetball home to more legends than seconds you've been alive on this planet New York City home it does leave value to we travel deep into the heart of Brooklyn where we built the dumb Cathedral for the main part of this competition for the Dunkley finals we'll be leaving a great house a dump and heading over to the streets of Lower East Side for the championship our chosen dunkers will be competing in 16 unique dunk challenges and each challenge winner takes home a stack as the competition progresses the challenges will get more intense and the lowest scoring dunker will be getting eliminated the last understanding will be getting 50 stacks in cold hard cash and take home the coveted golden rim trophy and the title of Doug's League champion I've said it before and I'll say it again let's get it poppin [Music] now before we get started let's take a look at the competition we already have three spots locked from Dunkley vol 1 G Dupree is the reigning champ so you know we had to bring him back to the fenders tighten this thing you jump down if you're thinking I just got into the game when I've been here when these guys are still wearing diapers and swamp ball came in second place it doesn't leave volume or I'm just I had a have fun and that my work take care of itself we got JC Clark aka the jumper I am one of the best jumpers the highest jumper so having that plus the creativity it makes for a very formidable opponent I would say and then we grabbed a new glove from Miami Jordan southern aka take off I just try to bring something new every time I touched it sport so I'm trying to be the next great [Music] Isaiah Rivera aka to Poe tarik in their business I want to be the best dunker out there I'm a long ways from that but I'm young and I'm working hard I'm not gonna stop until I reach the top that man CJ chip I want to make a living off this I just want to be able to do this every day for my life yeah we got our la crop of dummies we got my man Chris staples aka Everybody Hates Chris I believe my dunks will be better than everyone else's so just go out there and do what you do it's not really to think about what other guys are gonna do this more about having your own game plan we got Michael Purdy aka the AZ air bandit it comes down and just getting up so if you can fly then let's fly baby that's what we're here for we got Doug Anderson aka the big-time smashing I like you're going to accomplish this with other people I actually want them to succeed and make their dunks to make me have to work harder then finally since this is Doug Lee we always looking for the fit so I got one more wildcard that's about to throw off the whole competition not all dunkers live on that US soil [Music] he did the unthinkable the impossible amazing that's right dumb fans we heard what you all were saying last season so kill Ganon gets the wild-card this year I really plan out my domicile a my a my strategies and just like a game of chess you're just ready to not just do your dunks but to strategize [Music] now that you're here it's time to meet the judges I got the nickname professor in 2003 because famous MC do tango set out school and people on the pool I'm looking for creativity I'm looking for wow factor we're looking for difficulty all those things weigh in but seeing it when the stakes are high and when the lights are on is always an exciting thing they called me the other better because I go up high and impossible junky basic you got to take it to the next floor I'm looking for power stylish dunks being consistent with their ducks just to bring their overall a game I feel I was kind of like a pioneer of that Duncan becoming its own sport taking off tremendously and I'm glad to see these guys making a living off of this of all gentlemen welcome to value two of the Dunkley this competition right here is called down from day one and simply each one of you just 90 seconds to put together your all highlight mixtape the judges will score you on style power grace creativity and efficiency the man with the highest score gets a stack the order in which you Duncan has been randomly selected and first of all the way from Arizona that man Michael Purdy aka the hazy airbending let's get it poppin one thing down mentally physically spiritually I've been putting blood sweat and tears everything that I've done I would say in the past year has been for this competition [Applause] he's judge will be scoring dunkers on a scale of 1 through 10 make it 30 points a perfect school bunch of guys stood out that was a hard ground - to judge I got one two three four five six guys got nines and tens to me for four guys you know they really they really impressed me you know especially Chris staples doing my dunk the slingshot that really stood out to me Jordan reversed the ball back caught the ball back the kid Christopher that first dunk was was crazy but you know he had to give me something else other than that I gave a couple of turns a couple of nines and overall Chris Staples made me come down off the stage and go I love because that was crazy overall was pulled over they know they got to bring it the rest of his rounds we just got through wrapping up challenge one down from day one top-scoring dunkers gets a stack of cold hard cash and for those on the bottom luckily this is not an elimination right here we go that's 50 20s $1,000 now let's go to that scoreboard and see who receives it for has five attempts to throw down the most creative dunks you can otherwise never of complete on a 10-foot will the judges will score you with the winner taking home $1,000 and the high score let's take we over here when I walk I give those a 10 so it's one that stood out to me we're like when Doug did the double windmill I'm obviously didn't complete that but that was shocking from a creative standpoint CJ's dunk was pretty impressive the the tap behind the back he's was crazy where he threw it from one hand to the other hand behind the back and he got that down so I was really going for stuff that made us jump and then also ones that could not be done on the 10 or the we haven't seen done on a 10 foot go yet you get to 9 you got to do something I haven't seen before or at least you know step it up a notch from what you've done before but ask something new to it so we don't really see too much but we've seen a couple of dunks that were like really impressive and I know I can't do be nine or ten it's like do you go to ten because the lights or does it stay at nine based off the difficulty of the dunk so that was a that was a hard thing to question like balls because he finishes on like the first attempt and you really use no props he got a nice low pass and picked it up and did the little 360 windmill that was fired most one of the most impressive ones who stood out the most as me was you know Doug of course John Clark went to backflip that was that's that's hard Chris - Chris really impressed me I'll finishing that 360 over two people wild enough rather than just using the prop you know I had two times I gave it to Doug Chris tables and then the other ones were debatable the only thing with balls like I seen that not a whole bunch right I didn't give it a 10 but could it have been I mean I wouldn't be bad we just got the wrapping up challenge for get your mind right we had dunkers that was dunking and flashing lights and a little bit of craziness and they had to focus in to win this G now we to that part where we counting up that money 50 20s that's a stack and we got our winner let's see those results at the bottom of the barrel the injured Jordan killed Gannon and CJ champion scoring twenty fives and in a tough spot tied for 30th piece we got Doug Anderson Chris staples and Antoine Paul these dunkers all kept it 100 we're done splitting money for the here you go Chris it was good that I can come out with the victory well they might dunk with the most original and a lot of guys gonna do it though I mean the judges make the right decision and before we close this page to the chapter Dunkley let's take a look at how a dunker are doing on the leaderboard then at the top a three-way tie between key Dupuis chris staples and Doug Anderson while I say I'm birdie are still sinking at the bottom now we own a telling fire back to front side to side you will each get three attempts to complete a dunk that has to come from the side of the hoop or from behind you can either use an assist mat on this one or you can do it yourself judges will be looking out for creativity and difficult this round somebody got to get eliminated at the end of this challenge the two bottom scores will have to dunk off to see who goes home so challenging to all to the side of the backboard to go behind the backboard it's just not something that you can come pie and take care of timing this show still so just make sure it's really clean simple dunk and feel I need to do to survive in advance and if I get some money hey Dad first up in this round here goes one and done the rules are simple you get a chance to do a dunk of your choosing and you each get to court to yourself nobody sees your dunk besides the judges remember you get one attempt to complete the dunk only counts as an attempt if the ball hits the rim so proceed with caution difficulty style and creativity on what the judges will be grading for you have 90 seconds for one attempt the man with the highest score will get this block and the two with the lower score overall will go head-to-head in a dunk oh let's take a second to look at the rain before we start Michael Purdy has to step up his wrath or he might meet his fate and can't kill beginning fancy chip let's get it but at the same time you could try something more challenging all of the ranking so right now it's just putting
