Murphy roadster offers the classic features of the original including rumble seat access step please dual side mounts fares and an optional removable hardtop it's always great to talk to people who owned a Duesenberg - some of them you may even recognize well in 1988 I heard they were going to occur in Eloy Wisconsin and saw some pictures a couple of cars and until previously saw the quality workmanship my decided I wanted one at that time I already owned two of the world's best Duesenberg Theodore Tourister and a Murphy convertible sedan both over linea dollar cars but they were practical to drive so I wanted something I could drive on the street something that I could not have to worry about in the parking lot or worry about somebody stealing or otherwise I mean you know this is a practical kind of Drive that is geared to drive on the freeway and through the 70 miles an hour effortlessly it runs just great nothing excites me more the looks of a Duesenberg since I've been behind a grasshopper I just love the looks of the Duesenberg and I love this car because it's practical to drive power steering power brakes CD player air conditioning the whole works got it all well when I move to the oceanfront here I I sold my collection and I kept this car because it's just a great try to drive go anywhere you want anytime you want throw the church go to Affairs show it whatever you want to do the parents great car to have if I'm a little lonely or something a little low you know if it's one o'clock in the morning go down the garage and look at the car look at the beautiful front end the grille the hood headlights the rain lights and I take care of evasions that's what I detect my upper I love my Duesenberg too the most exotic of the five passenger Duesenberg automobiles were Phaeton's less than fifty of all varieties made during the period from 1928 to 1937 the Phaeton provided a close approach to the sportiness and flamboyance of the speedster with the added dimension of ample room for the family or another couple the Durham tur ster inspired by the talented and famous Gorton burek was the basis for the Duesenberg to Royalton that design enriched by the addition of a dual cowl with a folding windshield for the rear seat area enhanced the aesthetic appeal comfort of the passengers the Royalton offers the classic styling of the original Duesenberg is an outstanding car this is a replica of the original Duesenberg which was considered at the time the most outstanding automobile ever manufactured it is it's got elegance it's got style and it just delighted that it's manufactured here in my hometown of Elroy I was very much involved in trying to get this started at the beginning I've been following it has had some rough goals but now it looks like it's on its way it's got the opportunity to be one of those unique cars that everybody would love to own and have and every time you see a Duesenberg everybody comes around and wants to be around it because it just big zip exemplifies what is great about manufacturing about automobiles deli elegance in our country it also has an interior all of the modern features are concealed so if you walked up to this car at a car show and you look in it looks the same as the original Duesenberg that may be sitting next to it we custom build the steering wheel it's the core shift even though it's an automatic handbrake is functional and all the interior details of - Australian maple veneer trim and plated machined brass door hardware built on an SJ Jassy with 320 horsepower and 130 mile per hour this was the ultimate Beuerlein sedan a small limousine that might also be driven by its owner the Duesenberg to torpedo sedan offers the ultimate sedan for the serious collector true and scale and quality craftsmanship to the original design available with the original specification broadcloth upholstery interior or the more traditional leather interior with the convenience of a modern drivetrain comfort features the torpedo sedan is a statement of classic styling and personal achievement that can be driven and enjoy the strength of the vehicles frame and body Kage will also allow this model to be stretched for those wanting a full limousine and a classic style out of the crucible of racing roared the mighty Duesenberg model J backed by the legendary il cuore it was built throughout class and outrun everything on the road Duesenberg automobiles had more than twice the horsepower of any other car being made and set speed records including 160 miles an hour on the Bonneville Salt Flats one such car a 1933 SJ speedster designed by Gordon burek served as the model for the Duesenberg to speedster this is the first model Duesenberg -
