in 500 meters and right here oh hey everybody welcome to another driving livestream we are on our way to Ibaraki Prefecture in the north and this the permanent I'm Charlie right lady navigation systems driving me crazy you can actually change it it's bilingual between Japanese and English and that makes it a lot easier for me and she wants to study English so that's good for her toe everybody wins we're gonna be getting onto the highway in about 1 or 2 minutes yeah and then watch out for the coppers here and then we're gonna be taking you to a destination I think's gonna be very interesting I love Japanese highway rest stops called service areas service areas are on the main highway call and the run by a company called Nick's Co Mexico has done an amazing job with these service areas they're so clean they are so clean modern amazing places that you really gotta stop we have a red light here and we're gonna be taking you onto the highway we have an e TC card which is kind of like a fast pass onto the highway that pays for everything you also have on wireless mic so the audio is gonna be better this time which is pretty important Kenai is gonna be helping oh we can see it how close a key do you see that if you just look straight head to the end of the road there you'll see that's what we're getting on to there they're not honking at me are they that's where we're gonna be getting under the highway so we're about five hundred meters from the interchange let's go and Kenai is gonna be drunk today later maybe maybe so join us we'll be at the highway rest stop in about 40 minutes depending on traffic I don't think there's going to be any traffic because it's a weekday afternoon and most people are staying at home we're running a car because of the current global situation it's a safer to not take public transportation we're also going to be going and meeting a friend of mine named Jaya who's being the Tokyo Lama Channel and take a look at the progress on his abandoned house that he's been renovating over the last year I believe that's gonna be exciting to see him first we got to go to Costco and stock up here we go we're going right into right highway the highway Hawk was like yes I love the highway I do etc' baby yes instant access highway we're driving in a Toyota Prius which is a hybrid car it's pretty sweet ride it's a it's a step up from the car that would took last time 300 meters keep straight she really likes to talk this navigation lady alright we're now in Hawk Ozaukee which is one of the most impressive views of Tokyo in terms of the highway it's just roads going left right all over the place it's pretty cool we're gonna get an amazing view of the Tokyo Skytree pretty soon daddy all right so we'll get it 1.0 kilometer can you cut me off this is I guess Peter feels like this when I I'm cutting him off all the time what a beautiful day blue skies really warm traffic no what is this how dare you people temple there's a Sky Tree oh that's awesome dead on Sky Tree look at that it's feels like a video game keep straight you got it I'm going straight that's that we don't have to turn left or right for the next 30 minutes so that's good news [Music] is that shortcut gasps intros thank you for great content hello can i hello [Music] look at that the animated emoji is it from hot thank you yeah welcome board we're in route to a more EOS service area in Ibaraki prefecture it's about a 35-minute Drive but at this pace it's hard to tell there's been a little bit of traffic a little congestion I love this drive we're gonna be going straight at the Tokyo Skytree in about ten seconds there it is it's peeking over I love this view right the congestion on the other side going into Tokyo is awful it's really bad now this time we're using wireless mics I hope that the mic audio level is okay can I check in the screen for chats to make sure if you have any questions we'll try to answer you where are you going John oh yeah service area there's a link in the description but I keep yeah there's a link in the description we're taking you there because we love service areas as traffic congestion [Music] we're going at a cruising speed of 75 km/h did we go pass we're going to go past Asakusa right now and you can see this is a meter is it this to me to go on yeah yeah this to meet Agha was many bridges it's really beautiful I can see it typically I'd be listening to like Nirvana or Pearl Jam or something be careful cuz I don't don't touch the wrong button sorry it's my fault get something good to eat come on in John who's it from Danny video came alright thank you question Christian are their first blend in Japan first what husband and husband yeah that's the right lane and last time I am the viewers got really let me have it especially ones no driving a little bit better than me that you don't want to be in the right lane you'll get ticketed the cops will patrol that whenever possible you want to only pass in the right lane and get into the left lane but I kind of just was sitting in the right lane because there is just comfortable now you can't see it but Sky Tree is you can't see it but Sky Tree is right over my shoulder this side here and it's just kind of surreal when you drive through Tokyo it really does feel like a video game if you've ever played video games where you're driving you know like the racecar games man through the city of Tokyo it's it's kind of like that in a way oh there's that bridge I go running to about here it's a nice 20 K run yes I could have ushi yeah right and once we leave Tokyo you can tell it is so obvious when we leave Tokyo everything is just all the buildings are gone and you're gonna see that in about ten minutes I believe it just becomes so obvious everything ends and we're getting we're actually kind of hungry so we're gonna try to take you into the service area you might want to hang out and wait until about 35 minutes thank you for sharing so much with you who is it from um Dogon oh thank you very much yeah I'll put it I'm gonna put the smartphone on the gimbal and take you into the service area so that'll probably be in about 35 minutes from now according to the navigation system I'm not gonna take you all the way to Costco that'd be crazy and you've already been there I've done like to live streams and I'm a wanted man in there marked man they see me like manager comes and says you know that when Newman and the dress apart movie put the virus inside the computer I was kind of like that then they say when I go into clothes to go just look at me yeah I like going I like going on the job on expressway up north it's a really comfortable trip for me this is the way you would go up to Fukushima go up to Sendai you take this highway up there Tokyo that's two you get is as I do this we home there in Copenhagen order to me she got to know it is Akiko go to the mm uh stop Oh cake Oh Beauty seven seats maybe Japanese she live in England but she have to go back to Japan oh really become this yeah that's terrible but keep straight we're doing okay in Japan we're doing okay it's pretty tough everywhere though you have to take precautions no matter where you are yeah now we're crossing the river the Sumida River yeah there's a cherry blossoms you can't see cuz the phone's on the stand but after we go we take a right a right away from the sorry our left right away from the river straight and now you're gonna see we're starting to get in the suburbs and then the suburbs kind of melt away pretty fast you are here with us blood blood [ __ ] blood shows studio thank you man look at the traffic look at the highway look at that look at that Kenai Wow yeah and we're behind like a natural gas truck it looks like we're gonna be a little bit longer than 30 minutes maybe possibly this is the Atacama River right yes yeah so the Jovan Expressway is 1.0 kilometres came straight mistake I think it just keep straight I want to get in anywhere how do I get in somewhere and somewhere does anyone gonna let me in no one's gonna let me in can i I can't get in anywhere we need to order a side yeah it says to keep straight but this goes to Oh Mia I can't sneak in front of this truck here thank you get dump truck oh yeah decide I don't want to get into oh man it's this is hard keep straight [Music] can I get in here thank you thank you mister truck should I give him a nod he got though I'm gonna give he doesn't look as happy as we do yeah sorry dude good I can't live here you couldn't do this can't drive here here to me there's a little bit of congestion I'm focusing super hard and yeah I don't know the job on expressways so this is the Great Divide on on leaving Tokyo here the left side which is going really fast they're going towards Tohoku and Omiya which is I guess towards its anomia this direction we're going along the coast along the juban expressway to Ibaraki and this would eventually get to Ewok II and Fukushima and son died this way but I see ones go through it really yeah all right dude you let me yeah okay get in get in it's all good this is a Prius and it's so smooth and so quiet it's eerie scary eerie close yeah there's the sign for the job on an expressway many trucks I'm hoping that people are getting off at masato which is the next rest stop and then we'll be fine this is ruining my plan of bringing you to the service area in 30 minutes or less like a Domino's Pizza it's not gonna happen Morty has the closest service area I'm pretty sure these people are not the congestion isn't like this all the way it can't be can't be if this is your first time joining us in a livestream welcome aboard you are stuck in traffic with us and we're the kind people letting everybody in because somebody led us in and pay it forward yeah I used to live not too far away from Masato what was it it was a good I could run over there along the a Togawa River [ __ ] me SOT though they have a good shopping mall there yeah they do have a Costco there yeah whenever we rent a car we want to get it go to hit the cost coast because it's hard to do it with public transportation so this is why yeah this is why we wanted to know you can show the site this is why we wanted to get in this Lane because the juban expressway is this way if you miss this it's game over you're going the wrong way I've done that before it's not my happy place yeah come on traffic now we're going up to the sunlight which is good it's always gives me the creeps being underneath three layers of highway so typically on the highway I know that a lot of countries started to do this as well where they put like these boundaries on the left and the right it's to keep the noise of the highway away from residential areas and it kind of stinks because it ruins me view but actually I shouldn't be looking at the view anyway you should be focusing on the road yes at all times right that's why I need when you do a live stream in a car you need a co-pilot because that's a big dump truck yeah from Kawaguchi it was a beginner is he big no he's not that is scary that is scary you shouldn't be a beginner driver in that dump truck on the right side Wyatt he's got a beginners seal on there that's insane it's not really pretty sight right now we're kind of just getting through the to the city center hope the signal in the audio is good everybody our goal is Modi a service area and the link is in the description it's just across the river on the other side and on the border into Ibaraki I think at this pace we should get there not too bad we're a little bit slightly delayed there was congestion probably because of that the Tohoku separation when the roads were going in the other direction probably people were just we all I meant 11:24 that's the cost go not be saved yeah that's Costco service area right yeah Ibaraki used service areas also where he had this monster meat rice bowl challenge on another the other channel last year robots that was north of Tsukuba this one is there's two service areas big ones and Ibaraki this with this is the first one don't this is a fight fight for food okay all right all right we're cruising in about 55 kilometers an hour right now and just staying straight the smartphone's attached to suction cups on the on the windshield and looking back at us I'm still trying to find a way to make it not so shaky but I'm surprised that the internal stabilization on the iPhone isn't kicking in a little bit better [Music] so now we're underneath we're underneath another highway I think that's the road go in the other direction actually oh you don't even come on thank you for taking us with your trip is that Tony is that Tony Tony and you're all with us too we like to do these live streams when we go driving that kind of well the car only fits for actually so the car fits for but we have more than that in here [Music] how many people watching now 1000 welcome up honor we can't we can only fit two other people in here literally but nice to have nice to have all maybe if you've never driven in Japan I'm one of my hopes is that by seeing us driving in Japan and I'm driving on the other side of the road game for Americans for Europeans or I'll feel really comfortable with this but watching and observing other people doing things is one way for you also to prepare get used to it because of the situation I'm kind of saying maybe public transportation is not the way a way to go rent a car it's so comfortable now I'm used to it after doing this for a couple of years and it's so convenient it's just so convenient we're getting closer to getting a these shield on the left side or getting away once we get to the river we cross the river and we're at were there at modi i service area which is a bigger one look at the congestion on the other side there's a lot of traffic and japanese cars are smaller so they can fit more cars in there no one that I know of owns an SUV for example sports sports utility videos utility vehicle right SUV nobody in Japan owns one they're just gas guzzlers and they don't make sense in Japan although we'd like one set the Italian bombshell tonight you were doing that you are doing a great job leading these chaps how can he do an T on me Thank You number one friend thank you [Music] get aside for the shaking on the front camera [Music] yeah it's really not that exciting between here Saitama and Ibaraki there's not a lot to see there's a love hotel I'll check that out there's a love hotel on the left side hotel hibiscus timeless resort you always see love hotels on the sides of the highway I guess because it's the most undesirable property and it gives people easy access in and out without exposing the truth my favorite my favorite love hotel name is like Hotel California oh did they get really crazy it would be that would bet in itself would be an episode just names of love hotels in Japan they're so dodging we are taking an old dream yes kayo swamp Hey [Music] yeah if you're if you're watching and you're afraid to chat you this is an easy one for you where are you watching from let us know where are you taking this road trip from because we're taking it from Tokyo maybe you're starting from somewhere else like Riga Latvia or something oh wow our man in New York must be corn Germany New Jersey New York don't have six esalaam Detroit what's in them yeah you know other people are a lot of people are trapped at home because of the the quarantine this situation makes it really hard to get out that's why we're renting a car to be safe but we have to get out b-but I get prefecture actually only has one person with it it just turned red yeah there's still six prefectures in Japan with no nobody with it yet and I'm up here in the countries I'm Japanese countryside is peaceful I don't want to say fine take more questions everywhere but there's only one person here so I think they're in it's good bye in this channel the file Virginia [Music] Oh giant just giant just wrote in are we coming today Jaya if you're watching we're on our way the answer would be yes we're gonna first up a bit close to go I think before we go over to your place yeah we can call him up the warrior yeah we'll call him mo oh yeah yeah we're getting there that's what we did last time I don't like Bob from Jamaica Jamaica New York Jamaica the country [Music] yeah you know what the weather today is like 68 degrees it's so warm I got shorts on again coffee oh I need that coffee singalong can i that's funny [Music] [Laughter] you know maybe we can teach to Old MacDonald but teach everybody the name of the animals and Japanese Old MacDonald had a farm do they say yeah yeah and is it same in Japanese yeah we say yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah and on his farm he had an umma you know what to do my is do you know how to do my is do you do you do you know what I do is hold me my is a horse right you know this old macdonald had keep keep keep up with a Glade from video Jim see the monkey me crazy you making me crazy yeah so I guess there's lots of animals but all right I'll do this let's do the opposite can i I'll say it in English and you tell me if you know it in Japanese all right goat goat goat Old MacDonald had a goat Yankee a yucky [Music] animal hippopotamus yeah hippopotamus Kaba kibou is stuck yeah it doesn't cabeza all right here's an easy one for everybody kidding yeah how can I say a Canadian English Old MacDonald had kidding yeah I didn't know his Keaton was in Tanzania by the way I'm sure his farmers in Tanzania country in Africa near Kilimanjaro let's kill me toys it's a kitten is juror no giraffe sit up [Music] how do you say okay how about Ochopee what's Ochopee and japanese okapi - okapi that's our favorite animal female guppy it's half it's half horse half giraffe or half a zebra it's awesome it's like what happened it oka be happy it's awesome it's the best of all the animals I said I like hippopotamuses - can you spell hippopotamus no I don't think [Music] how do you say I'm trying to think of animals that you have no idea what's uttered monkey that's too easy yes sorry was monkey nickel cat you know dog i'ma start hamster good pronunciation nice i'ma start is hamster chicken how would you say chicken 20 good but that's chicken the meat but 40 is any bird isn't it yeah battery money Otacon oh yeah niwatori is is a technical chicken but Tory yakitori would refer because they don't eat other birds really refer to but Twiggy just means bird TR I thought e is a gate that has another eye on it yes 2020 that's a difference Tony and Tony e fusing Japanese is even after 23 years that don't know what I'm talking about which one should I go to EDC alrights not long now we're getting there hey the lady didn't tell me how much I owe how much was it I tried to track of how much I'm getting that Japanese highways are ripoff man they're so expensive it cost me to go to Fuji Yoshida like $60 in tolls it's crazy so the rent-a-car cost in the end came out to be about the same as if we just ridden a train but it was pretty convenient that we had to hold our place when we went through toenail and Heath we made to the other side we got the fish kind of like eyelash I understand now Oh interesting came visit from [Music] Lonnie Smith no way yeah I like the driving games when you can count the people with headlights on or you can if you touch the touch the roof and things like this you can see ninety-nine bottles of sake on the wall except it gets really old fast and people want to punch you if it Salo moto what didn't see on the CT [Music] I don't know but you gotta sing it can I don't read it you sing it how can see you Portuguese fado sounds like Adi got the you can see right now we're pretty much in the countryside I think to be quiet yeah hey you kids back down give it down trying to focus turn the radio on golden oldies and my dad listened to talk radio drive me crazy I guess it depends on to talk listening to [Music] say hello to please see the watching hello grace I still hold your blood I try it a little bit it's hard the air is not very good in there it's okay in the car yeah this is like I don't know like a like a sci-fi scene here this this tunnel area I don't know exactly what these walls are that just really feels like a like Tron or some sort of space-age movie from the 1980s Akashi was 2k away we're getting close to Moody Hawkins I can smell the food what are you gonna eat there what do you want it Budhia not though that's all they got not though and Matthias yeah we need a break first yeah I'm gonna get some coffee because [Music] super to the service areas but sometimes you'll find region there and let me get at the tunnel and talk about this I'm supposed to be holding my breath I don't know if it's safe for the driver to be doing that though wait does the driver play this game - I don't know we're still in the tunnel just just because it's like half covered - held hold my breath halfway just very shallow deep breaths we're going in a cruising speed of 75k km/h which is like 55 maybe I typically don't speed I don't I'm not in a rush but when you do run when you do speed it feels pretty cool but don't do that disregard what I said about it being cool it's not awful what do you interchange five kilometres everybody five kilometres turn the camera around five kilowatts I would scream but then I would blow off everyone who's listening in headphones I would completely obliterate your ear drums not going to scream oh do they Asuma well I think it's that's here I don't see it sometimes sometimes the situation is oh wait maybe I saw a brick light I saw some brake lights yeah the service areas it's all right the service areas are so awesome I'm kind of excited about this now and I kind of have to use a restroom too good now I love service areas let me go back into my rant the bathrooms in Japan are usable so if you got to go you can go and in style they all have wash lights and the days and dryers and stuff it's so high-tech in there and so clean I'm proud of our Japan service areas in the US and New Jersey on the Turnpike these are like pick up places for strange people alright people go in the bushes and stuff I heard I don't know I've never done I've never seen it personally but heard might be just rumors rest rest stops in America are there's some good ones but like Roy Rogers I like where Rogers you have a fixing bar so you can fix up your your burgers this is an East Coast thing I think but in general rest stops you just you don't really rest you get in you get out you know or you stay in the car Jeff in Japan people go actually as a destination rest stops that is their destination that's pretty cool I'll check that out I got mid turn red [Music] she was a shame hey thanks for taking us music you can I enjoy I miss Japan in here why your streams are very helpful all right from Canada all right you could see like on the left just like nothing there so there there is there's some buildings but where you're just a little bit below the wall all right it's gonna open up a little bit this is a tonegawa River which I believe is the Auto Kawa and the rest area we're gonna be taking a left into the service area in like one minute this is so exciting that's the Meiji milk they make the Meiji milk here such a silly hold your breath too low the games at once yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah yah I'm going so slow the trucks are Pat all passing me yeah not to hurry but the guy behind me might disagree can't money yet oh I just saw cameras that we're taking pictures of license plates all right welcome to service area everybody this is our destination for this livestream anyways awesome p4 parking a for awesome B for brilliant C for crazy crazy D for divine and that's again this like a game for excellent for failure Oh in Japan they always back in should I back in I hate backing in oh wait I don't have to okay sorry thanks sir that's a Benz man what is that that's a s for something that's four or something 450 sweet ride we're parking where the Benz was we're putting a Prius in spot thank you sir don't worry I got this I got this I got it look a successful conclusion be careful of your microphone can I put it here put it here I'm in stereo so how it works and I'm gonna put the camera on the gimbal then you come in with us never leave never leave a warrior behind no one stays on the parking brake where's the where's the key I'm here yeah hold this key never leave anyone on the battlefield I'm not gonna leave you on the windshield it's just rude all right you guys okay well tramatic know this is gonna be traumatic 2,000 people in our pocket okay we're good let me get the tripod here and then you can go inside service area everybody we're gonna go in there until they tell me I can't film anymore which couldn't happen never know you have the key yeah alright are you gonna lock the car I'll give me here give me the key oh I like I think much up for the microphone a lot never forget about something don't hit the car behind pretty good parking job it's very bright welcome to Morty s service area yes there's the Starbucks here yes there's a convenience store and yes there are people the restrooms which allow you to really get a social distancing it's very big there over there you got to go fine fine all right let's go inside so here's the food court it says food court and there's several restaurants around there they all look pretty darn good Eddie hey this is a ramen is that what you wanted Wow oh yeah Guinea Koo yakitori Tony Dantonio ki steamed buns phobar and they always have so bad Chinese forward yeah there's always a Chinese restaurant as well all right let's go take a look see oh they have a cheese cuts at all look how beautiful it is it's there go they have free water here so there's a water dispenser here that's free and here's the highway these these maps show you exactly what the traffic's like there's some red areas if they're all around Tokyo and then going up here along the coast it's all green it's heavy driving up here [Music] this is something that you said you see that looks good [Music] there's the oyakodon are you getting ramen or do you want it this is Tom Tom Minaj II what is it like yakiniku don't write yes Tommy mr. ramen ramen on the other side there's not some karaage for okay [Music] what do you think [Music] that's mountain of Konig a it looks really good and this is a deep-fried I was curry right it's and tonkatsu Ross Scott Saddam looks so good myself the famous they must talk that's shop oh it is yeah okay maybe I'll get that then what do you what do you want to get oh I gave this to her daimyo ah and there's the curry flavoured ones they have one with curry variety that was one of the one of my favorite snacks dried methyl dried not on it's nasty we put that in the oatmeal we could put this in cereal hey this could be cereal dried naka yes she didn't did that would you eat that looks like drying up boogers all right and this would be a nice place to get some packages for the diamond support oh look at this this is so cute that's um yeah but sweet potato right this would be great can't we say a king said la this would be great kid let's see expiration date on this for thirteen yeah that's possible dried sweet potato okay so good very naturally sweet and they have lots of gift boxes in Japan you you always kind of bring a gift we should get something for Jaya here right yeah we got to get something for jet what do you want to eat we should put the order in first you want ramen yeah okay go order the ramen what do you want me I'm gonna get that tonkatsu okay we can maybe cut the dog wow they have okonomiyaki oh really Aoki okay do you just order it okay I'm gonna I'm gonna get mine here hey he day she took up Korea a young man gotta wait for them to call my number can I was going to order her her ramen let's go take a look at her ordering her ramen you got one too huh yeah I let's claim a table how about right here they have a he thought she could oh they do I didn't see on this side look they got like meat here that looks so good that's why'd you over there alcohol [Laughter] get in here the best would be to go and wash your hands with soap and water but I didn't really touch anything yet this little buzzer thing is something that might might worry you but Japanese service areas are really really cool I have the soap yes she travels with soap and alcohol and tissues everything is in that bag and masks as well if you're in a really crowded place we tend to use the masks if you're using social distancing it's okay you don't need to do it unless you have symptoms we're feeling pretty good although other you the hay fever is really bad in Japan so she had a fever the other day but it was because of the hay fever it's just was really really bad yeah many people coughing yeah when you're when you get out of the when you get out of the city everything kind of opens the book a lot more so it's harder to get it's harder to come in contact with people so if we go even one more service area up there's almost nobody there especially this time of the morning yeah it just opened not too long ago we're gonna don't worry you're with us on this trip I'm gonna show you what the food looks like if you're hungry and you want us to show you the food let's see if we can get this 650 likes okay that's our goal it's it's one of these things we do the community you guys all have a say as people watching you can click the thumbs up button and like this and we will show you our food it GTG never want a PETA vampire it's 11 o'clock yeah 11 a.m. but we skip breakfast and we'll the Bob's Big Boy that you found a little while back maybe is that you I win it's not fair I put in my order first that means they're just taking more time with with my premium cuts alone maybe I am planning to go to a Bob's Big Boy but I don't know if I'm going back to that specific one but we do intend to rent a car and go back to fujiyoshida there it was just too nice and and we returned too so how's everybody doing we're at Moody ah tweed if you want to watch to playback we started in Tokyo and we took you from this city to this service area in an hour less than an hour we did have some traffic but it was ok it's pretty smooth ride we're going to cross to go after this to go shopping and then we're gonna go visit a friend of ours then we're gonna go and maybe drive out to the countryside to mount scuba that area and then come back home tonight and can I said she wants pizza for dinner pizza that she likes yeah ramen pizza you're eating this is not healthy ramen is actually kind of like a snack it's not really no you think it's it's it I always think of it as a snack jim-jim Mendenhall's here thanks for taking us to this cool place let's get the 1000 likes Jim getting the 1000 likes is one of the hardest things it's only happened maybe once or twice it happens on a live stream that went super viral actually I think there's like 300,000 views in that down the street food episode that we did but getting 1000 likes in a live stream is rare I will not eat your egg Carlos said don't eat it eat the egg Carlos Carlos can you just write and see I can eat the egg please I want to eat the egg yeah the ramen is this do you think this is kind of small for say Angela took gonna knew this half an egg it's a little bit small we we believe but really I think that's enough to fill you up I can't see if Carla mr. Carlos in right in ETA Carlos is still against me how is it that you're gonna be done by the time I don't think so it's not up there that's it that's gotta be mine yes [Music] I finally people pose happy happy jealousy jealousy has hit look at the little peas that they put on there for coloring I put a little bit of spice on there this is a deep-fried breaded pork cutlet beautiful cooked in dashi with some egg in the pan and then they put the pan with all that dashi and sauce on top of a bed of rice that ladies and gentlemen is a cut so John can you I touched the touch something so I have to use alcohol again it's a rule okay that's good this is sound of one hand washing and inside here it's a soup yeah I could give her an egg she can have a bite the eggs all mixed up I saw that and here's some pickles here this is what we call a taste so good which is a set all on a tray tastes shoku's are nice and what I like about taste shoku's are that typically you don't have to share it [Music] Wow look at that breaded pork cutlet it's it's just soaked soaks up the salty - you like drop salty fish soup stock get see here juicy slice of meat in there this is a heated cut so that's one that were doesn't this could be a roast that's how much shirt where's the sauce the sauce is soaked inside and it's on the rice underneath there a little bit so they cook it in a pan and then they they when it's finished they just kind of toss it on top of the rice like that it's really good and they get came with a little cabbage salad let's give it a try Dada give us hmm you want it that was more than the egg it's not really fair yeah I know there's only four pieces of it in there [Music] I'm like Joey and friends I don't share food Joey doesn't share food yeah sure Joey doesn't share you don't like lost I don't like Ross yeah sober beam up here hey Phoebe see the guy you're like Phoebe you have the Kellers I don't it's hard to like the Gellers it's a really good meal um when you come to jeopardy service area stop it and just relax a little bit because the food here is usually pretty good a lot of the famous shops in the areas will have a satellite shop here meaning that they kind of want to they know that a lot of people go through here this was the perfect place to advertise your business or or to show to give people a sampling of what it's like to eat there it's pretty easy easy in easy out you know before I go any questions does anyone have any questions final questions doesn't train not go to the rest stop now the Train does not come here it's that's why you need a rent-a-car we're going to costco after this in scuba I'm enjoying the live stream take a joy I just watched Peter stream I don't really watch this channel this food not usually come with a drink no actually so Donny since you're finished can I can you get some tea okay no no they have it free a lot yeah tea tea if they have it water it up today a friend Glen Smith I want Oakland Oh Bianca daughter it didn't look good over there right that's there was my backup yucca dog so much good is gone are the car rental Susan thanks for asking about that depends on the car you can get a compact for about five thousand five hundred yen which is about fifty dollars and the car that we got actually those were sold out so my our choices were the tank which is a boxy car that I don't like that was about seven seventy dollars a day and then Prius which is a eb car and that was 9,000 we're about $90 a day so I got to pay $90 a little bit less than $90 because it's a 12-hour rental now you can rent the car for as little as three hours so three six twelve and twenty four hours and if you rent it after 24 hours usually the rate is is the same or a little bit discounted for second and third days that includes the insurance in the price if you don't have an ATC card to get through the toll gates that's an extra 300 yen and which is reasonable compared to like Enterprise and and all the other rental car companies Hertz in the US are very expensive for this service Japan is very reasonable even for the gasoline we don't feel the tank in your car it's pretty reasonable to fill it up and it's just a little bit more than what you would pay at the gas station so I like that makes me want to rent cars more when people aren't trying to rip you off left and right but why it works is because the people renting the cars are the car companies that make the cars like Toyota rent-a-car Honda rent-a-car Nissan I think Nissan has a range of car oh you got the T yeah it's complementary so when you're when you're doing the rent-a-car business you also hoping that the people running the car will also buy the car and if I rent a lot of Toyotas I'm very used to Toyota now I probably would buy a Toyota so it makes sense to have good service and not overcharge for this kind of stuff and you get a chance to try it out for a week or a day however long that you want to but having a car is really convenient gasoline is it's kind of expensive it's about double or triple what you would pay in the u.s. maybe they charge by linger instead of by gallon maybe it's close to the same maybe double a little bit less mini depending on the rates I don't know what it is in the States the highway tolls are expensive it can get up to like 40 50 $60 to get off depending on which highway you're taking so that could be as expensive as the car gasoline and gasoline and tolls could could be as expensive as the car doubling the price so just keep that in mind so it makes sense to rent a car for more than one day and get the discounted price and but driving around in regional areas is not that expensive and it's pretty it's a lot of fun just make sure you study the Japanese driving laws there's things that are different like stopping for three seconds when you cross a truck train track even if a transit coming you have to stop for three seconds the police like stake that out a lot of traps yeah any other questions it's a good question you do need an international driver's license not all the countries couldn't rent them here depends on which convention your country signed Indonesia for example has problems renting cars in Japan because of the convention they signed need a Japanese driver's license yeah we don't know what the gas prices aren't Antarctica either have you ever even pulled over by police Johnson never only once in the United States and never in Japan I tried to go slow and not make any problems yeah but being pulled over they do random checks as well too on weekends and stuff to check your breath to make sure your how to drink driving and definitely don't want to do that here in Japan and you don't to do it in any country but definitely in Japan they throw you in jail the other thing was the service area is the link is in the description so you can find out where I am right now by going to the description this video yeah we have an electric car it's a Prius and it's it's pretty smooth Drive yeah I like it but I don't know if it's worth the extra thirty five forty dollars versus the other compact cars now so that you know I'm so you know renting car has sports cars so next time I try to get a sports car they have the 8086 I think it's pong it's a collaboration between Nissan anything you can rent it yeah it's uh it's red it's a sports car maybe I'll rent that next time I really appreciate the super Jets guys because it pays for the car and the gas so you're taking forgot for us that's why we work we love to bring you could you share the cat's money give the gt86 Edley I'd love to rent that that's available and if it's manual I would really be happy because I have a manual transmissions license so I like to to shift and I prefer have that over an automatic but it's very hard to find those it's been today's world in Japan and I want to get it convertible hard to find it and rent the cars in Japan yeah the Subaru right that's right Thank You astroboy Subaru I did not notice any gas stations while I was in Japan they're there they're just smaller and they look different you'll find them you'll find them on corners but they're smaller and that you're not at the same looking as the u.s. all the time all right or Europe for that matter you kind of get it away shame you didn't have to do that but thank you I say shame just paid for all the tolls tonight you put a smile on can I thank you thanks Shane for looking out for us looking after us um yeah so we're probably gonna do another live stream Kenai wants to eat drive-thru ramen you you realize that right like maybe we're gonna do the drive-thru ramen I know that's why I'm like white I want to take you on another adventure you might be asleep when we do it but you might do another livestream today and then maybe when we return the car because we want to we want to take you with with us and experience some more of the countryside and we make it up to mouths to scoop us out or go to some countryside location or river or something but if we find something we'll go live again you know a few hours I'll try to give you some I'll try to give you some heads up notice because that's she [ __ ] but if you're a patreon supporter I put the notifications there usually at a minimum 15 minutes I don't know should say minimum but I try to do at least 15 minutes in advance of the notification pop up on your phone Instagram stories in case you just drive by and catch it and I'm doing one more Twitter so the tweets go into the system and the discord server as well our moderators will put the link in the discourse over I got to get back to this cop so don't look at kanai's ramen you know you never drink the broth yeah you don't drink the soup yeah yeah good it's good how many stars seven out of what how many seven out of seven seven out of ten so so so it was yeah it's good but not good excellent good like not life-changing yeah it's good is it Marty Marty you reaching and you gotta set the energy buddy I plus go shopping this big bag of kettle chips oh that's good chocolate for pnai that's it that's a given here and how much is the petrol which is I think it's HEV throw ah yeah couse Young's yet yesterday it's icky I want to say like one liters 100 and 140 like a hundred like $1 dollar $30 40 it could be it could be a little bit less depending on the region I think it's one liter $4 30 so yes $2 24 or yeah it's pretty close it just depends where you're buying it from just like in the US just like a dollar 30 per liter so the per gallon it's like four dollars or something per gallon so pricey huh I think there's so much we got a cruise get back to the car and I gotta finish like slipping this down stuff we'll see you in the next think you so much for buying us coffee and for paying for a trip thank you as a president will try to go live again today and bring you with us on another adventure it's nice to get out of the city and to share this adventure with you can your corn team good luck we're sort of not really this is rare for us to go out at all so see you in the next live stream [Music]
