But if you’re gonna use French Kiss and (dammit I can’t recall the name of the photo effect - but it’s not his) I need some better presentation

I love his silent act over any talking he does - I find his patter about my level

Some in this thread seem to have the false belief that this trick won him the show....this was just an extra act he did before the results and played no role in the voting process

My question is how are the judges so impressed by a trick they have already seen. Shin Lim isn't the first guy to do French kiss on AGT.

Him winning back to back gives me a lot of hope for the future of card magic. I much prefer his style to generic street magic style that people are pushing. He should get a whole new generation into card magic.

I can't help but feel that combining the two tricks together didn't work. The marked, folded queen suddenly being unfolded and unmarked was missing the patter to present it as such.

There should have been some sort of presentational tie for the two, not just making it vanish. Would have made the final part much more powerful.

question to those on here since you definately know more about magic than me. Do you think she was in on the trick because i dont see how its possible he made the queen appear on the picture. He couldnt have forced this card on her because he asked her to select a card by word of mouth
