hello my friends i am back today and going to excuse me always happens when i start talking i'm going to show you a simple dessert recipe made from that's my oven it's ready made from dollar tree items i showed this on my dollar tree haul the other day the yellow cake mix and cherry pie filling and i was going to actually do it in the crock pot however i like my topping or crust on top to be sort of crispy and if you bake it in the oven it turns out crispy now this is quite possibly going to be the easiest cobbler recipe you have ever seen in your life and what makes it so easy is there's only three ingredients which is the pie filling and you can use any flavor that you like you can do cherry apple peach i seem like i saw i've seen a blackberry before strawberry whatever you like take your dollar tree or you can buy it anywhere you'd like that's just where i got this one this is mother's maid brand and it is a one pound five ounce can open it up and some of them had this pull off top and some had the top that you cut off so when i went back to buy a second one i bought this one but you just peel this off or open it with a can opener if yours doesn't have the peel off and i did spray my pan i'm using i think this is like an 8x8 but if you can do a 10 by 13 or any size pan 9x13 whatever it is but you may want to use two cans of the pie filling if you use a larger pan so we're just going to dump this in here and spread it around try to get all of this out of this can here because i don't know about you guys but this it's not really juice but it's i call it juice that's my favorite part i mean i like the cherries but this juicy part between the cherries is my absolute favorite but you're going to spread it around evenly you might could use two cans of fruit in this pan also if you like a lot of fruit if you want to make it thicker i'm just making a small one for today after all none of us truly need dessert right all right got it spread around set that to the side let you see this i bake it at 350 degrees simply because this is something that my husband taught me a long time ago this recipe and of course you can pretty much cook anything on 350. um if you're accustomed to making cobblers or pies you may know something i don't you may want to cook it on a different setting but you want to take this classic yellow cake mix and i use a spoon so i don't dirty up the mix because i won't use the entire bag i hope you can see this and you just sprinkle it on top you don't have to sift it or anything because the little chunks is what's going to turn out the most crispy on top while i say crispy it's not fried chicken here but you know crunchy sort of like a crunchy cookie on top but you just want to sprinkle a layer evenly and you can do it as thick as you like just keep in mind you don't want to do it too thick because the next step we're going to do is we're going to put butter on top and it will still be somewhat powdery if you get it too thick i usually use about a half a bag of cake mix to one can of pie filling so if you have a larger pan you may could use the entire package of cake mix okay i'm going to spread this around i'm not trying to flatten it i'm just trying to get it even and i look at the side to tell about how thick my crust is going to be that's a good thickness to get it done however i think i'm going to try just a little bit more this time super easy yummy dessert and i'm going to go ahead and cook this because i am making something else in the oven for supper tonight so okay and i've just melted a half a cup of margarine i always say butter you know the drill and take a spoon and just drizzle it on top of the dry cake mix i actually only used about a fourth of a cup of butter because i'm using a smaller pan so with this 8x8 which i i think that's the size i'm not sure you know how sometimes they put it on the bottom sometimes they don't it did not take the entire half cup so i just drizzled it on top and here i'll let me move and show you guys what it looks like and i'm just going to pop this in the oven i'm going to pop it in the oven until it gets nice and golden brown on top then you want to pull it out of the oven so i'll time it this time and try to give you a ballpark figure of how long it takes once you put it in the oven so i'm gonna pop it in the oven and i will show you the results when it gets finished okay it is ready could have quite possibly cooked it for just a little bit longer i'll show you a little closer it's still bubbling because i just took it out but that is it that is cherry cobbler with just three ingredients super easy to make super quick i also wanted to tell you guys that it took 45 minutes in my oven so depending on how fast or how slow your oven cooks the time may vary but it took 45 minutes in my oven and it is ready also if it's bubbling really well it looks done but you want just a little bit more brown on top you can just broil it for a minute or two just keep an eye on it so that you know you don't get it too dark on top you don't have that burnt that harsh burnt taste and that is it for easy three ingredient cherry cobbler i hope you guys enjoy i will talk to you guys later be sure to hit the like button if you like this recipe like what you saw and subscribe if you haven't already and thank you for watching
