DOING THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY // VLOG

good morning guys it is 8:26 I have four minutes to get into my spin class and not be late so I'm gonna keep this short but I just decided to vlog like just now so that's why I'm filming on my phone instead of my camera but I do have some fun things that I want to go get done today so I thought it'd be a fun thing to vlog so I'm starting my day off with a spin class with my favorite ways to start the day and just to get my workout over with also I forgot to put my ring on this morning I feel very naked okay I gotta go cuz I can't be late we just got out of spin class and we wore matching sweatshirt Kristin got these for us in Copenhagen and I have it one ninth in scope and I haven't worn mine I know we showed up she goes what sweaters that because I was holding me in my hand and I was like my mum Jana sweater she was like me true sister to sister bag that was such a good spin class but also so stinking hard because I haven't worked out in like two weeks so sometimes I just feel like if you have it done spin class in a while you like lose every ounce of endurance that you have I got a little drink this is an iced matcha latte with oat milk it's so good and now I'm gonna head home eat some breakfast and shower cuz I'm disgusting also Marcus has his musical rehearsals for the next two weeks so that's really exciting it just started yesterday if you don't know Marcus wrote and produced an entire musical and it's gonna be here in LA on June 18th 19th and 20th and tickets are almost sold out so if you are in LA make sure to get your tickets or if you want to come from anywhere I'm gonna be at all three shows and I would love to meet you guys that would be so fun so I'll put the link in the description oh my gosh look at this just sweaty rat tail of hair okay I'm home now and now I have my camera so hopefully it's better quality now but I'm just gonna make a quick little breakfast because I just had that matcha and I'm feeling so shaky and bad right now so I'm just gonna make some avocado toast really quick and I use this bread from Whole Foods also if you hear a ton of planes like right now actually just switch the flight path to like be right over our house so now it's like planes every 10 minutes I really just like to keep my avocados house pretty simple I just basically do Alcott oh and then a little bit of seasoning and sometimes that you like a fried egg on a piece of toast and then a piece of avocado toast [Applause] okay my hair is looking crazy because I didn't wash it but I did shower put on some makeup changed into what I'm gonna be wearing today and I actually have been using some new makeup products that I feel like no one talks about I don't know I've never heard anyone talking about these products so I thought I would show you some of them this video is not sponsored or anything but I think that you guys need to know about these products because they are so good so for my eyeshadow I've been using this this is from beautycounter and I'm pretty sure this is like a very healthily formulated makeup brand like no bad things in it and here's what the palette looks like it's so beautiful I just use this color in my crease today and then this color o called copper on my lids and I've been loving this this is called the classic eyeshadow palette and then on my lips I've been loving this combo I don't feel like anyone talked about either these products this is the new milk makeup lip balm and this isn't blue and this is in the color bubble and that's what I have all over my lips I'll show you guys what it looks like it's really beautiful here it is and then to line my lips I used this buxom plump line lipliner in the shade uncovered and this has been what I've been lining my look look why can't I speak this has been what I've been lining my lips with lately so I love this combo it's very nice and also very comfortable I'll also show you a little outfit of the day I'm sorry my office is very messy right now but just look past that wearing this dress today this was from three people from so long ago so I don't know if they still have it but it's very comfortable my new Kristin made bag if you guys don't know we just launched five handbags on Kristin made and the Hat if they're so cute this is called the sunday market bag and this is the one I wear like every single day it's so beautiful and cute and perfect I'll put the kristen made link in the bio if you don't know that's my company which is a really crazy but yeah I love this bag where it was every single day and then I'm just wearing some Reebok tennis shoes so here's my outfit of the day my plans kind of changed for the day because I remembered I have to take honey to the vet to get her eyes stitches out she's not gonna be happy with me because she hates going in the car number one hates going to that number two so she's just gonna hate me number three but let's see honey honey we gotta get your stitches out we gotta get your stitches out I feel like she already knows that I'm about to take her somewhere she had this thing called an entropion I think it's called basically where her eyelashes grew into her eye so her eyelid was kind of like folded inward and so that was always making her like squint and it was just very uncomfortable so she got surgery on it it was kind of a nightmare honestly the surgery was so expensive which it's okay because she's worth it but then she ripped her stitches open two separate times got a horrible infection and it just it's been a crazy two and a half weeks so I'm really glad she's finally getting her stitches out and it healed so nicely you want to see what it looks like I think it looks really good you see your eye miss me oh my gosh it looks perfect no more drip ease no more drip ease I don't know about you guys but I just feel so anxious and bad where I have to take the dogs to the vet because I know they get stressed out and like it really stresses me out and it makes me really sad especially honey because she already just really does not love leaving the house I just hate making her feel this way it makes me really sad but we're almost there and I just feel really bad right now no more stitches let's go home and get a treat good girl he's home camper always miss really where have you been oh you have a dilemma it's a very minor dilemma but I really wanted to go to a nursery today I really wanted to go to two different plant nurseries today but it's already 407 so if you like traffic's gonna start getting really bad and there's one that's closer to my house that I've already been to before but it's really cute but then there's also one that's about 25 minutes away that I've never been to but I heard is amazing and I think they have a plant there that I really really want so I don't know what to do okay I think I'm just going to go to the further away one and just risk it for the biscuit and just be a crazy plant lady because okay so there's this plant that I want it's called I'm pretty sure it's called a Hoya pubic up or pubic kala or something it's really beautiful I'll insert a little picture here we made it to the nursery that was actually way longer to dry I thought it was gonna be I thought this was in a totally different area than it is it's called sunset nursery like I said I've never been here before so let's go see what it's like I can already tell that I love this place look they have huge monsters like this months there is massive and it's $1.99 which isn't so bad for a huge one and then they have a really human active this is a calla lily Hercules and it's $12.99 it's really cute I also really like this one this one is a drill man Thea try Star try a start and it's $14.99 very cute okay let's keep looking you guys don't understand how bad I want one of these cactuses in my house so beautiful oh my gosh I have only oh this is kind of dangerous I've only ever seen photos of this guy he's beautiful he's only $34.99 I think I have to get this I do now I'm conflicted because these are the same price and I don't know what shape I like better this one or this one I think this one's kind of interesting but I don't know I've never been to a cooler nursery what the heck this little guy is blooming look at all of these cactuses cacti okay just put in all of my plants I just got I got the cactus like I showed you guys and then this pot is just like fun normal to your cotta pot kinda like this color I got this hanging pot and I also got you this which I have been wanting for so long and this is a type of calathea and it's so beautiful so this one goes back here okay I'm at Home Depot and I'm trying to find wood to build a shelf in our living room I think I found the piece that I want its birch wood and it's a really pretty color but I think I need to get it cut and I also need to get some hinges or I don't I don't know what that's called about my plank of wood and this feels kind of dangerous that it like this button I'll be very safe with it and it just hit me how starving 1/2 6 o'clock so I'm gonna route myself let me call Marcus and see if he's eaten hey Chris hey have you eaten yet yeah okay yeah I was just gonna go get food okay okay love you bye looks like I'm eating chick-fil-a alone just off my food but I'm actually still like in the drive-thru line because the line is so long so I guess I just have to sit here and wait for it to be done but I'll tell you guys what I got I don't really think that you guys want this to be a muck bomb mukbang DS so I don't know if I'm gonna eat it on camera but I got a number one sandwich with pickles very important keep the pickles on and a fry and eliminate and the sauces I get our chick-fil-a sauce and ranch ranch in the new addition to my chick-fil-a order but it is so good with the sandwich and the fries unpacking all my goodies from the plant store and camper is so interested in this little plastic hanging thing what are all those plans those are new guys okay this is my favorite part of buying new plants is getting them home and trying them out in different pots and seeing what looks best and switching things around so I'm thinking this foil would look pretty in this hanging pot it's a little bit small but I feel like since it is a trailing plant it'll look really nice hanging down and I think these colors are so beautiful together look how pretty this is so this is definitely gonna be what I keep this baby is and then this guy I thought would maybe fit in this pot but now that I'm looking at it it might be a little bit too small but I also have this pot which I think it would also be too small and you don't really want to squish let me look at the roots of this guy because sometimes if it's not like even close to being root bound you can kind of get away with putting in a smaller pot so let's see oh he looks really cute in this pot I love when I have enough pots for my plants and enough plants for my pots it's like a vicious cycle but this actually looks amazing I'm going to see if this looks good that I could look at the footage and see if I like it or not this is where I want the shelf to go all along this wall and then I have some art down here that I just want to set on top of it so I think the plank of wood that I got is a little bit too long I'll show you it will play something like this and then just art prints sitting on top [Music] it's now 1036 you're watching my story hmm Marcus is home from rehearsals my problem is the way you've been doing business lately because I have been taking my sweet time to be special and sassy and clever on camera and you've been cutting them all out and this isn't even that good but on principle you have to include this on the edit for us I'm going to okay I cut out one part of my last video and Marcus was in it and it was the best part and she cut it up we didn't end up hanging up the shelf so I'll show you that on my Instagram later when we do that I didn't find out if at the shelf till I walked in and said what's this giant piece of wood hanging up it's the law I honestly I didn't even ask you to Hanks I knew you're so tired isn't that nice usually I would be like let's just hang it and like pressured him to do it but I'm like he's tired but I'm really not gonna be able to do that by myself so let's go do it now oh my gosh it's a fugly Dudley cheese jeez oh sure than the t4 is why don't you come on oh you didn't like that mr. bean just a little teeth show them a little teeth okay guys I hope you
