Dog Refuses To Leave His Dad's Hospital Bed | The Dodo

[Music] I was admitted to the emergency room they discovered that I am in heart failure Magnus is my test trained service dog so he was allowed to stay with me in hospital having him there just kept me so calm and kept me as relaxed as possible he was actually in the bed with me both of my daughters came and they stayed a hundred percent of all the visitation hours that they were allowed to stay because of the patient visitation hours they were forced to leave thankfully though [Music] I have this guy to stay with me in the hospital the entire time I am lucky to have this boy I really am he made an unbearable situation bearable and more tolerable for that I am forever grateful I really am it just kept me relaxed kept me calm lowered my blood pressure we were in the hospital for three days but it felt like a lifetime [Music] he still goes with me to every doctor's appointment I'm covering every base possible because I have two young daughters I need to make sure that I'm around for them as long as humanly possible we originally adopted him just to be a family pet my daughter's very severe juvenile arthritis just the anxiety and the stress that would cause her when we adopt the Magnus he would lie right next to her and just calm her down thank you getting back to somewhat of a normal life is really the best he still provides that therapy that I definitely need he's literally my shadow so he's never more than a few feet away from me I could just turn and just cuddle with my buddy Magnus sleeps in our room sleeps in our bed he's literally like a big stuffed animal I have a gym in my house so we work out together foreign just to watch him just be a dog not be a service dog or just just be I always say life is better with a dog Magnus exemplifies that every day everyone I think just gotta you know be more like Magnus [Music]
