what is up guys Tech Rex here in this video I've got the iPhone 14 pro and we are going to be testing the crash detection feature on this deep purple iPhone 14 pro so does it actually work guys or is it just the scam is it just a little uh gimmick of a feature we're actually going to put it to the test this is the vehicle that we're going to be trying to smash into with another car the goal will be basically to drive that car way over there you see that little blue car that's the car looks sick and head-on collision into this thing my phone is going to be inside I'm going to have a GoPro inside that blue car and we're gonna see whale crash detection get detected it's a huge feature on this iPhone 14 pro close look guys at the actual car check it out so we got the whole system in place show you guys inside what's going on um you guys can ask questions later but it's gonna work we got the rig it works we're gonna have a GoPro right there all we have to do guys is just get the car rolling remote control foreign guys that's the biggest difficulty right now we're trying to make sure that car hits straight in the middle of the burned car um obviously we're not having any people driving the car so professional um safe environment there it is guys [Music] around 458 let's go there we go there we go there we go there we go oh my God thank you no damage did the car just stop or what the accelerator where's the iPhone I thought I hit a pole nothing a little bit cracked blinker no biggie okay guys we got multiple cars this time the goal will be hitting this van right here um here's that flimsy car so we're gonna get the car situated and I think this time the car should not miss um should get a kind of a direct hit here into one of these cars I also put the 14 pro on the back headrest here for easy access so I can see right away um will crash detection get detected um so I'm going to turn up the brightness here make sure that phone screen stays on everything's in position here's the car let's get it going oh okay really quickly really quickly crash detection crash detection crash detection crash detection where's crash detection crash detection is not detected okay it looks like you've been in a crash that was a delay we got a delay of like maybe I don't know 10 seconds iPhone will trigger okay guys it's doing the call we have about seven seconds it works I'm gonna go ahead and hit stop stop calling we're going to try and do another attempt at the van drive it out and just do one more crash test confirmation is very important guys so um car's a little bit broken let's get that confirmation oh yeah we got smoke we got smoke foreign we got to get access to the phone just grab the phone it's fine it's 10 seconds five four three stop calling emergency call canceled it worked guys I can confirm to you guys the crash detection does work that was a fast run airbags did deploy this time let's take a look at the front end damage here making all sorts of noises liquid pouring out seeping out everywhere that was a good hit that's the hit I intended to get van moved Carr didn't keep driving on its own too so that's a very good sign will this car run maybe we can actually reverse it out of here let's do a little test with this car we're gonna see um how long it can last so we're just gonna drive a little bit give it a few spins mangled up car and it still drives woo yeah look at the durability of these vehicles guys two accidents cars driving strong so that wraps it up guys thanks for watching as always stay tuned for more videos and I'll catch you guys in the next one peace out

I totaled my car. It works, but it was annoying. I got smacked in the face with airbags and my iPhone and Watch were freaking the fuck out. The last thing I wanted to do was to find my devices and shut them off.
