Does Reflectix Work? A quick review of Reflectix radiant Insulation

we've been repurposing our garage into an off-grid apartment one of the problems is that it didn't have any insulation so what we did is we researched we found this thing called reflectix it's kind of a aluminum foil bubble wrap we thought we'd install it and give it a shot and see if it was any good it claims to knock down the radiant heat by you know 15 20 25 degrees so i installed it here it is and now we are going to do the test so we'll see what the outside is so that's 80 i don't know if you can see that let me bring it around so we got you know 87.4 on the roof and let's go over here and you can see it knocks it down a good 20 degrees so it's called reflectix and as you can see it's just kind of this aluminum foil bubble wrap and the results are just absolutely startling i mean there you go it's just 20 degrees cooler so there you go that's we all all i got for you today thanks for watching
