Does it Work $40 Rare Vintage Marantz Oscilloscope Stereo Garage Sale Find

how's it going guys back another video here it's been really dead on the estate sales auctions and such uh being winter plus with covid uh not much really going on so the fines have been a few and far between i still go to uh thrift stores occasionally but with everything else being out uh thrift stores are pretty much overrun so i'm not finding anything there either so i finally decided to hook this up if you recall back a couple months ago i found this at a garage sale i paid 40 dollars for the entire system uh the receiver the equalizer the tape deck and the record player uh looks like the record play on the tape deck i think the belts are bad on those they do power up uh so no big deal i already have a sansui record player and then i have this uh technix uh cassette deck uh tested it and seems like everything works uh but just an awesome system uh i am gonna keep this uh i also have a uh pioneer down here it's the uh sx 6 8 850 i think yeah c850 uh so i'm gonna end up keeping both of those systems but um i had just this uh mix match of uh parts i receiver and uh equalizer and stuff down there i took out i'm gonna sell that stuff and i put the marantz down in here i still need to uh clean this up a little bit i guess brasso works pretty well to clean the the faceplate here and then i'm gonna deoxit the uh the internals the connections so i do have some scratching on the when i turn up the volume here so a lot of times uh cleaning with a deoxide helps that out so uh yeah really happy with this system again only forty dollars uh i think easily uh it's maybe a grand here uh for the amplifier and the uh receiver again like i said only paid 40 bucks so just a quick update thank you guys for watching and i'll see you next time take care
