that in these 5 minutes I'll be speaking that somebody in the United States will die of a drug overdose and it is almost a 72% chance that during those 5 minutes it will be fent and all related I just watched an amazing and passion testimony that Jason De Ford also known as jelly roll gave to the senate about a bill to punish the influx of precursor chemicals and fenel that comes across our borders and kills the equivalent of a about a 737 plane something like 200 people die every day from fenel overdose and yet we don't really do much about it finally there's this legislation called the fend off act would cause sanctions to both China and Mexico which is long overdue because we have this opioid crisis in our country just just killing innocent people that happen to have a disease not just drug addicts uncles friends cousins normal people you know I love that he said he was once part of the problem he was actually a drug dealer but now he's in recovery and he wants to be part of the solution and actually gives him a perspective like a lot of us have who've straddled both sides of it you know without people who are imp passioned like that I don't think change is going to happen I stand here as a regular member of society but I have firsthand witnessed this in a way most people have not I encourage y'all to not only pass this bill but I encourage you to bring it up where it matters at the kitchen table check it out it's amazing
