broadcast for over a decade her code regularly changes although it's unclear what the number sequences represent however the source has been traced back to the same building as radio Havana also distribute instructions to operatives as well as more importantly emergency action messages eams are Central to nuclear warnings and other National Defense systems and therefore they take high priority with the ability to overrule almost any other ongoing broadcast the only higher priority message are known as Sky King messages named after the call sign used by operators of command planes the severity and priority of the message to follow one repetition tends to indicate a low priority incident or test message a number of these low priority Sky King messages have been recorded in the family L5 had a similarly interesting life the L5 was commissioned to operate between 1967 and 1971 then was also abandoned effectively becoming space chunk however after learning of the l1's rediscovery an amateur satellite Hunter decided to track it down he located it in March 2020 and the L5 was found to be still orbiting broadcasting and operating far beyond its means today the lees1 and L5 satellites are two of six zombie satellites known to exist v15 radio Pyongyang North Korea is renowned for underhanded espot practices one specific radio broadcast which irregularly interrupts state owned radio Pyongyang is believed to have played a significant part in 20th century International tensions but also more recently one of the radio Pyongyang frequencies a unique number station known as v15 Was Heard while broadcasting various mysterious strings of numbers it is presumed that these strings were related to Espionage and likely aimed at agents hiding in South Korea a number of these were recorded as far back as the 1980s however these messages stopped in 2001 after North Korea began using the internet to communicate with overseas agents v15 fell silent for many years until on June 23rd 2016 these messages abruptly returned for the new messages had a different format and schedule broadcasting twice per week with a musical intro and outro North Korea's neighbors to the South were quick to criticize feeling that the change may suggest increasing threat levels the broadcasts once translated appear to be under the guise of educational messages AED its students for example one message professed to be assigning quote work for the subject of mathematics under the curriculum of a remote education University messages often contain codes in the form of numbers for example quote on page 459 question number 35 on page 913 question number 55 on page 135 at question number 86 and so on it seems unlikely however that any rival intelligence agency would have fallen for such a weak disguise the most recent development relating to the v15 chungyang radio broadcasts is that as of 2019 the coded messages have stopped once again as of early 2024 the radio station itself has ceased operations however there are international concerns that they may start up again soon and that this may indicate an increase in spying activities or even North Korean nuclear be emitting radio signals the space plane was found to have re-entered Earth's orbit and released six mysterious objects the US Department of Defense began tracking the objects in an effort to determine their purpose the objects continue to orbit Earth while broadcasting the repeating radio path patterns amateurs too have monitored the objects and recorded their emissions many are concerned that the signals may have been intended for a quote clandestine ground station on the west coast of North America the primary evidence for this comes from the fact that the signal appears strongest
