Do Microchip Pet Feeders Work for my FOOD THIEF CAT!

[Music] welcome back guys you might be wondering what the strange contraption is actually scratch that you've probably already read the title of this video so today we're going to be talking about our problem child Katie and how we finally got him to stop eating Franklin's food now this really became a problem when Franklin got cystitis or inflammation of the bladder and we needed to increase his water intake to help prevent it from returning so we added wet food to their diets but Franklin would only eat about a half of a cam so let's do some quick math 1.5 ounces of wet food which according to the back of the label has 70% moisture means that Franklin was only getting an extra 1 point 2 ounces of water so the solution add more water now that we increased Franklin's water intake we needed a way to keep Caden from consuming it so we started feeding them with microchip feeders the hood of the feeder has a microchip reader that can detect the unique radial frequency of your pet's microchip so when your pet steps into the hood of the feeder it detects the microchip and opens the lid on the back there is one button to manually open and close the lid when you need to add food 1 to program a new microchip and one to put the feeder into training mode which we kind of forgot to do but if your pet doesn't have a microchip the feeder comes with a tag that you can put on their collar instead now that we know the basics of how the feeders work let's see if we can get Katie and Frankie to use them step 1 let your cats investigate the feeder [Music] step two put all our pets away step 3 try to figure out the instruction okay press the Add button the lid will ultimately really look like once every sent me the tenth Peter will stay as mindful impetus learned or if you cancel with a second press of the [Music] [Music] without fast [Music] well that was easy what do you think I guess [Music] oh you got it nice good boy Frank [Music] [Music] where's the bed next to the big button on the right I'm kind of afraid he's gonna be scared of it [Music] little excavator [Music] No [Music] [Music] you think he knows at Frank's fingers over there dare you to trip it I don't know Oh Eve outbreaks the little thief won't work this time [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] like it just bleeped up pranks mess [Music]
