DIY PARTITION WALL | WALL FRAME | PLUS DRYWALL

so first thing i'm going to do is make a wall frame um you make a wall frame you have to put two by fours going up every 16 every 16 inches 16. 32 48 64 80 eight feet so i don't have a workbench because a table for work uh this is the princess's uh little vanity she sees i'm gonna borrow it for workbench all right so i got all these guys how does that mean to the best of my ability all i gotta do is cut him there's no turning back now [Applause] okay so we got them all i got them all cut and lined up and all i gotta do is screw screw on yep all right i got all these these cut up i got them lined up now i'm just gonna drill drill these in this is not a very strong this is not a very strong drill so i'm going to use a little bit a drill bit or to help it so everything's all screwed in drilled in uh next thing you do is uh you stand it up [Music] hmm literally like i didn't i didn't measure the top part right and i had to go back to the hardware store and buy another wood for the top from up here but so far i'm seeing i'm loving it and uh it's all worth it so far it's been worth it so now what i got to do is i'm going to drill these up drill these to secure them and then i gotta drill into this concrete to secure it all right so now i gotta anchor these these are concrete tappers into the concrete i'm gonna put one here one there and then one over there probably three here's the debris [Music] foreign [Applause] i got it okay so next step i'm gonna get some two by fours cut them list the length here and put them in between the boards and stagger them so i got these things in there and those guys are in there you know this wall ain't going nowhere right okay it's your up excitement [Music] this goes up a little higher this one so i got this last little piece um some pieces weren't long enough i got that last little piece so what i do is that i cut it okay cool we kind of give it more or less see how much i gotta cut off so i just tear a little cut right there this is i upgraded my work table from the ground to a couple big buckets and i put a board here and i smash it down secure it let me get a blade and i just cut it all the way down nice clean cut we're all done with installation insulation installation of the insulation and what i got to do is staple them down after that drywall this side simple what well that's pretty much it and i got a sheetrock [Music] ah all right it's all up [Music] now all that's left to do is uh put tape and it'll be complete and then i'll put mud on it um there's some little imperfections big crack here no big space right there you know but uh also right here it's not hitting but you know what overall i'm happy i'm happy with the um still a results bit more work to go all right so there we have it guys um it's all done using this wall to split this area in this area uh this area i want to make it a little bit of a uh like a little workout area some couple fitness things and there i'm hoping to make it like an office i got a lot to cleaning up there still and i want to clean up here all right so there you have it um all done overall i'm happy with the build uh it's you know it's not the best but i did my best and i'm happy with the results there's a lot of things that uh while making it um i was putting it on social media people had given me tips on um what i should have done bet i could have done better and you know that's great you know that helps me be a better some you know better somebody who does drywall or somebody who who does framing you know this is um all the beginning and i figured out the name what the actual name of this is too it's called a partition wall so uh that's what this wall is the partition wall that you know doesn't fully close off an area but it divides and it will divide an area so that's what that's perfect for what i wanted what i want right now and i'm a beginner and this is the beginning and you know i really enjoyed doing this and i want to keep on doing it uh little projects keep doing little things here there but uh thank you for watching until the next one
