DIY DOLLAR TREE CHANEL PERFUME BOTTLES | DIAMONDS AND PEARLS

hi everyone and welcome back to my channel in this diy i'll show you how to make two beautiful chanel inspired perfume bottles the first one i'll be using these frames and for the second one i'm going to try these really beautiful iridescent creams now first thing i want to do is open both boxes [Music] so here i have an x-acto knife what i want to do this is like a shadow box i want to go ahead and cut this apart from this box and you just simply put the blade right between the box and frame okay there's one there's a little bit of debris left there so you just come in and just cut that out now for this particular frame all you need to do is pull these little tabs out all right and just remove the glass so we're going to move the glass from both of these um on the inside of these i'm going to paint silver i'm definitely going to remove the glass from both frames like this spray paint the inside and the outside silver so i'm going to do that come back and move on to the next step i've decided to go ahead and take these off so i'm just going to show you how to tape it just take some of the dollar tree masking tape and line it up on the frame you do all four sides like that [Music] and you just go all the way around and what you do it'll look like this so again i'm gonna spray paint the front of this in the back of the silver and i forgot to show you guys i'm gonna use the rust-oleum two times ultra cover paint and primer metallic okay i'm back and as you can see my frames have completely dried so now i'll remove the tape from the iridescent frames [Music] next i'll glue the glass back into each frame using this e6000 because i can't find my gorilla glue so let's get started [Music] and again i'm going to do this for all frames so i'm going to take rectangular glass and put it inside here press it down not too hard just want to make a really good connection with the glue and the frame if you want to you can put some weight on it same thing with the square one so i'm going to do this to the other two frames at the very last minute i decided to add string lights to this particular frame so i'm going to use my dremel to drill a hole into the top of my back frame drill it towards the back and i'm going to hide it with the cap of the bottle so yeah i'm going to drill a hole in there here i have a dremel i picked this one up amazon and i'll link it below if you're interested so what i'm going to do again is just drill a hole towards the back i'm just going to hold this down and press it and then turn it on just like that and you decide to do this you want to use a dremel uh bit that's big enough something that you can comfortably put your string lights through so now go ahead and glue the glass in the back of this all right i'll do that and come back okay everyone i'm back this one is going to be my diamonds and pearl thing perfume bottle here i have some pearls from dollar tree i have three packs and i have some of these diamonds from michaels so what i'm going to do is just fill this up as much as i possibly can with my diamonds and pearls [Music] oh wow look at this some of these are bigger than the other ones look at that i didn't realize that this one says 80 counts [Music] and this one is 60 count now i gotta figure out if i want it to be two different sizes i think that'll be fine [Music] all right so what you want to do is overfill this because you're still going to have this the room in this side of the frame that will allow them to move around um so as you can see all this tight when you hold them down you'll see you have a little bit of room i think i want to fill them up some more [Music] okay i think i'm good with that because i do want to have a little bit of room for them to move around so again i'm going to use my e6000 with a little bit of hot glue so now i'm just going to add a little bit of hot glue [Music] after you're done applying the glue put the second frame on top and press down look at that [Music] now we have our diamonds and pearls and they're pretty put this aside now moving on to the second bottle we're going to start with the back piece and the back piece is the piece with the hole so here i have some some of my favorite string lights i introduced y'all to these lights over a year ago and i really and truly love them i'm sure a lot of you have used these since i told y'all about them okay so what i'm going to do is string it through the hole and then hot glue the strings onto the back glass string just through the top and remember i said you want to make sure you can make the hole big enough to accommodate your string length so you won't leave that out this wire will work with that later with this part of the diy is going to be probably the lengthiest part because i've done this before i'm going to have to just randomly wrap my wire in glue my string lace down [Music] [Music] all right just like that so i'm going to continue to just put this randomly around circles and squiggles and all that stuff and then i'll come back and show you what it looks like so i'm done cleaning it up so with this one i'm going to fill it up with some of the dollar tree acrylic gems and dollar tree has truly kicked up their game i have some of the older gems and they are not crystal clear like these so make sure you guys find the new and improved gems these are really pretty bottle i'm gonna fill this up with gems i won't be able to fill it up completely so i'm going to cover the string legs at the top by high gluing some gems right on top of them [Music] from time to time i stopped to clean up the glue webs so now what i want to do is go ahead and fill this up [Music] now i'll put the top frame on to give it a run to see if it fits okay [Music] and as you can see you can use a few more just like before i have some e6000 hot glue and glue both rings together press it down until the hot glue sets up [Music] all right so what i'm gonna do now put a really heavy weight on top of this and let it sit overnight okay everyone i'm back it's the very next morning as you can see both of my bottles are completely dry the glue has set up completely and i still have a little bit of movement with the gems and that's perfect i don't have any falling down to where you can see the wiring in the background okay here's the ones with diamonds and pearls okay so what i want to do now is make the neck to my perfume bottles and i'm just going to use two of these tower blocks from dollar tree the next i'm just going to glue these two tower blocks together [Music] okay once those dry they'll go on just like this okay so i'm going to let those completely dry and then spray paint those silver because okay i'm back and as you can see i painted my blocks silver so what i'm going to do is use me 6000 and then i'm just going to press this right on top i found these cute little frames and they have like glycerin with glitter in it and little designs in it so the cute thing about this is you can remove the back and you can replace the picture with anything that you want you can customize it by putting um someone's picture on the inside or just putting like a glitter background or you can just leave it completely empty like this like that and then this would go in the front so next i just used to make 6000 and glue the little miniature frames to the neck of the perfume bottles okay so i'm going to set that aside to dry [Music] so i just took some of the masking tape pull it down on both sides so we're gonna let those completely dry come back and move on to the next and they are completely dry and i went ahead and pulled the tape off this ahead of time let me go ahead and pull the tape off of this one now so what i'm going to do with this one is trim this one out in some bling simply put some on the sides and the bottom so i'm going to use some dollar tree pixel along with some hot glue to glue the wing down [Music] [Music] [Music] okay just like that so i think i want to put mirror towels around the neck okay so i measured it's going to take two rows of mirror towel so i'm gonna go ahead and do that with some fix all glue okay so i'm done completely decorating the neck so now what i want to do is go ahead and decorate the border so i've already cut some pieces of bling go on each side just like that oh and i've already put down fix-all glue [Music] so the rest is super simple so now i have a frame i'm going to use this as the label on the front just like so [Music] it's really coming together guys i really love this bottle it's so pretty okay so the next thing i want to do is add my chanel logo and guys one of my really sweet subscribers sent me some chanel bling look at that isn't it pretty more likely you won't be able to find these but if you can't don't worry about it you can still make the chanel logo and make it blingy like i did in the previous diy and i'll link it below so what i want to do now is just glue this right in the center [Music] look at how pretty that is omg i love it now i'm just wrapping the wires to conceal them and then i'll glued the battery pack on [Music] you should be able to hide it behind the neck and this is the back of the spring and this is our very first bottle and they're gorgeous for the size of this one i decided to go with with some flower bling so of course i went ahead and cut some pieces ahead of time and it's simple just glue the pieces over the seam [Music] i'm gonna put a frame on the front but i'm gonna wait for that okay here i have some flat back pearls and some rhinestones so what i want to do is just glue these on to the flower bleed so i'm going to start out with a pearl [Music] okay and remember i need to come in and clean up the glue webs so i'm going to do the same thing on this side and then come back okay so i went ahead and cleaned the front of this glass and when i put this frame on there i don't like the way that looks it's taken away the look of the pearls and the diamonds so i went ahead and like i said i cleaned this and i cleaned the back of this class so i'm going to use this glass as my label and i'm going to glue it on with fix all glue okay so you really can't see it yet well you can sorta so what i'm going to do is trim this out into bling so again i have these in silver and i have them in gold as well now i'm putting glue around my glass label so that i can frame it with one row of bling okay just like that [Music] so that's all i'm gonna do to it if you want to you can add some bling around the caps if you want to but i like them the way that they are so what i'm going to do is light this one up and put them on display with the third one i made as well [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] boy
