D.I.Y CARDBOARD LAMBORGHINI

[Music] hey last year on a trip to los angeles me and my friend tj decided to rent a lamborghini for the day because none of us have really experienced anything quite like that i've never driven on this side of the road don't crash try not to and go really slow and ever since that day i haven't been able to get that car out of my mind so today i've decided that i'm going to try and make a lamborghini aventador out of cardboard because that seems to be a common trend on this channel we're across the road from the lamborghini dealership i just want to see what a real one looks like for reference because you know it's good to have reference precisely damn bro is that a lamborghini manifest showing quick manifest nice that's it [Music] [Applause] damn how does it go back down sure we can't figure out how to put the door down i mean it looks cool it looks very very cool there we go okay a lot more simply yeah yeah yeah that was sick it just went it had that cool sound let's try and make one oh yes okay let's get this this is the website i found that has all of the papercraft cars if you want to go check it out all the links stuff are in the description but it pretty much just gives you all of these things to cut out and then you cut them out and stick them together and then you have lamborghini we gotta go find a projector because that's how we're gonna increase the size of the papercraft thing how much do you think projectors are oh i'd probably say maybe like at least five hundred dollars but with this projector we'll also be able to use it for other cool stuff true movies in the park that's right and playing wii oh yeah yeah projector acquired now we have to go find a bunch of cardboard because that's kind of the main ingredient in a cardboard lamborghini perfection oh yes people ask us what we're doing with all of these carpool boxes we're uh we're giving away free cardboard boxes to the homeless if you can leave the world better than you found it then you've succeeded and that's what we're doing i hope your homeless guys like these cardboard boxes imagine if we were actually like that [Music] funny sweetness we're lowest prices just beginning yeah that's right we're at bunnings right now [Music] all right projector let's see how well you work is that you ready for the presentation i sure am ah now if i plug the projector in it should be coming up on the projector sean is now on the screen wow yes yes look at that amazing oh what the dog doing here's the a4 version of what we need i think i've got this measured to be exactly 5.6 times the a4 version the next step is to just trace all of this onto pieces of cardboard this is going to take a while [Music] let's connect the dots [Music] those two are correct then the whole thing should be great this is page one passion one now we just have to do 39 pages i was waiting on you to come through i wanna kick it in i got i got no more time we brought a lot of cardboard yesterday but sadly we've run out and we're only halfway done so he's such a good fit did it make me taste my psychic she said give me a ring but i didn't have her number a ring can turn her from a there we go around two days later finally finished drawing up 135 pieces so it's time for the second most boring part cutting them all out and now i think you're stuck with me but you don't seem to mind it you always see the good of me when i can never find it so i'm always going out my way to make sure that you're okay you make my life divine yes within these two piles is the car time for the actual fun part of this putting it together so freaking stocked up over the boring crap [Music] it's one wheel complete i'm so excited to see how this turns out i saw the view but i just got bored going running out of time and i've seen what the locals do it's out of touch and it's attitude so i'm leaving here tonight and don't try to this is i think the fourth day of working on this project pretty much finished the whole front of it now i think we're gonna have to get rid of this ping pong table because it's about to get really big is [Music] woke up in the living room [Music] oh my goodness holy yeah oh wow that looks identical to a lamborghini apart from the cardboard of course i told myself if i ever got a cool car there's only one number plate that i would ever put on it boom honda the cardboard stage of the car is done now i am incredibly stoked with how it came out would you just look at it now it's time to move on to the next stage i want to try to make this thing drivable in order to make this thing drivable we got to go pick up a bunch more things so we should have brought a knife look at how big the piece of plastic is we got for the windshield oh no just like kind of do that we managed to fit it in we're here looking for a bike we're looking for one that has like 20 inch wheels 20 eggs oh perfect precisely the perfect bike oh we have just crap some bikes right now and yeah i'm all going down and we're ready to get the video up and running the bikes i drove this diagram earlier this morning to kind of show the the steering mechanics uh i have no experience in engineering if there's any engineers out there cringing at what i do um i'm i'm sorry but i think this will work just went out and bought a bunch of metal bits and brackets and bolts [Music] we've added these plastic supports to keep it sturdy and we're making this frame now so it has something to ride on so we can actually move it like an actual car [Music] this is how i'm gonna pull up to the mcdonald's driver this chair we're gonna use we're just gonna cut the legs off of it plastic deck chair very good originally the car wasn't meant to be fred flintstone-powered the plan was to take the motor from my electric skateboard and put it onto the car and i actually did that but it didn't really turn out that sick yes of course it works i'm a genius hey hit the brakes david let's do this i should just put this clip in black and white and says the first electric car so the electric motor has enough power to move the car when no one's on it and it's just like this but sadly it doesn't have enough power to move it when i'm on it which kind of makes it useless so i'm gonna take it off [Music] uh no this side needs to go forward more [Music] time to do the part that i've been kind of scared of doing which is cutting the doors out hopefully it doesn't just fall down still a little bit nervous [Music] this is the final piece to add to the car after two and a half weeks i put it in the complete wrong place final bit so much work yes well done it's done oh i guess the next thing to do is surprise my friends sean it's a lambo no it is any guesses is it a boat i thought this is going to be a fingerprint is it like a surfboard in the shape of you oh it's a bugatti baby no it's not a bugatti it's a mini ramp oh oh my god oh i thought it was gonna be like the wiggles card all right we're going to take this to a hill now this is the final test for this car i gotta say pushing the car bulghini down the road got the same if not more attention than a real lamborghini [Music] nice the whole two and a half weeks of making this thing all leads up to this point if i die his fault your goal is nothing this is the hardest thing this is harder than making the whole car this is how i'd be pulling up to the club yes we're in this is like the apollo lifting off [Applause] all right here we freaking go let's do this [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] yes it worked and i want to go faster so maybe i'll go from the straight path now we're going for more of a straight approach so we get more speed because more speed equals more babes this reminds me of when we made cardboard guns are you cannot ready while this process oh dude i almost went down yeah what happened i don't know i was coming down i tried to turn a little bit and i think the wheel just got caught and then like yeah yeah let's go back to lambo it's in one piece yeah yes it worked it worked yes two and a half weeks that's right and hustling oh [Music] [Music] how about now yeah okay hop
