the way of those lepers to everyone the lord gave comfort the lord is giving you comfort let us look at jesus in this hour this hour of mercy opening our hearts to his mercy to his mercy flowing down to our hearts let us begin this chaplet of divine mercy in the name of the father [Music] and of [Music] and of the holy spirit [Music] you expired jesus by the souls of life gosh forth for souls and an ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world or front of life unfathomable divine mercy envelope the whole world and empty yourself out upon us o blood and water which gushed forth from the heart of jesus as a fount of mercy for us i trust in you o blood and water which gush forth from the heart of jesus as a fountain of mercy for us i trust in you all blood and water which goes forth from the heart of jesus as a fount of mercy for us i trust in you our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil hail mary full of grace the lord is with you blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your holy holy mary mother of god pray for our sins now and at the other of hearted amen i believe in god the father almighty creator of heaven and earth and in [Music] and we read that in luke chapter 4 verses 16 to 21 jesus came to nazareth where he had grown up and went according to his custom into the synagogue on the sabbath day he stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet isaiah he unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written the spirit of the lord is upon me because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor he sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind to let the oppressed go free and to proclaim a ear acceptable to the lord rolling up the scriptures he handed it back to the attendant and sat down isofall in the synagogue looked intently at him he said to them today the scripture is fulfilled in your hearing the gospel of the lord praise to your lord jesus christ in this first decade we want to meditate [Music] on jesus in the synagogue on the day of sabbath he opens the scroll and chooses a passage because he had a purpose when there is a special message to give one chooses a passage the passage he chose was from isaiah the prophet speaks about the savior and he reads it out and he wanted to say here i am ask the savior the spirit of the lord is upon me because he has anointed me to bring the good news to the poor a historical moment a moment all the history of the old testament beginning with abraham beginning with adam and eve all history was looking to the savior announcing the moment of salvation inaugurating the kingdom of god am come anointed with the holy spirit to bring the good news of salvation let us welcome jesus into our midst it is jesus our lord here on the altar this jesus then jesus was in human form in the synagogue of nazareth today in our church in front of us he is in the form of bread telling us this is my body this is me announcing to you and to me hiram as a savior come in the power of the holy spirit anointed with the holy spirit to proclaim the good news my brother my sister is your life a bad news but news of sickness but news of sadness bad news of whatever kind of free to the lord the lord is going to change it to good news good news of salvation let us pray the first decade open our hearts for the slave jesus said [Music] john 8 34 a sinner is a slave of sin my brother my sister offered to the lord every area of your slavery are you a slave of the memories of the past memories of being hurt by someone your husband [Music] memories of being ignored by your wife memories of being humiliated by your friend are those memories enslaving you even today painful memories haunting you memories of your parents punishing you severely memories of being neglected by your teachers memories of your childhood holding you captive even today perhaps memories of the sins of lust knowingly unknowingly even led to in the past even now holding you captive all these powers of evil you're a slave now the lord is taking charge my brother my sister the lord is taking charge it's beyond your capacity to come out of them but the lord is telling you today in your hearing this word is come true and what is that word that word is i'm come anointed by the holy spirit i'm come to set you free from that burden from that yoke of slavery pressing down on your neck on your heart the lord is lifting it lifting it from your heart to set you free to go to go free experience that freedom experience that freedom that mercy the lord is showing you now let us praise him hallelujah hallelujah praise you jesus thank you lord your mercy flowing down to be your god [Music] are you living in an unholy heart applying a pressure over you applying a pressure over you holding a fascination to you you decided never to go back to sin and yet and yet a fascination because of the memories of the past [Music] for an unholy relationship for a sexual pleasure for an unjust cane for an unnecessary appreciation on underserved applause are you oppressed oppressed by the thought of not having something a thought of possessing something food money clothes oppressing you i should go and buy today i should go and eat today i should go and say an angry word today oppressing you a pressure you feel it applied on you a mist like around to you the lord is brushing away the lord is brushing away that mist the lord is brushing away that mist take it from the lord that freedom the lord is giving you today and with that experience coming to you let's sing together asking god the grace asking god the grace to experience that freedom total freedom from the lord to see your faith and all of your anger is in your heart the lord is telling you i will have compassion on you compassion i will not remember your past anymore do not look at me as a god punishing you a god waiting to condemn you i'm the lord who saves you reaching out to you a good shepherd coming out to meet you to pick up to pick you up from among the thorns and thistles to bite up your phones hallelujah hallelujah praise you you imagine a person closing the eyes and say it's all dark perhaps we did it purposely closed our eyes pretending everything is dark because we have a reason you wanted my brother my sister to justify your sin and therefore you closed your eyes against the holiness of marriage and said marriage is not holy you can afford to be unfaithful you can continue your adulterous relationship you said who can be just in these unjust times and you continued your corrupt practices you said who can be truthful in these unholy times and you continued saying lies and you said who can care for such children let them go their way and you and your way not caring for your children you became blind you blinded yourself but every now and then you knew that it is wrong and you thought you don't deserve the mercy of the lord the mercy of the lord is opening your eyes to see the truth to see the face of god come back to the lord the lord is opening your eyes to see the truth [Music] you are in darkness my brother my sister and jesus said this is the curse this is the condemnation light came but men and women after darkness come out of that pitch darkness you could be suffocated in the lord he's offering the compassion open your heart to that mercy you want to pray for everyone who blinded themselves could be your relative could be someone close to you pray for them intercede for them ask for god's mercy that they may come out of the power of darkness into the light of god's mercy we pray this decade eternal father i offer you the body and blood soul and divinity of your dearly hand out and say i love you lord more than everything else the hardness of the heart of everyone looking at jesus is melting will continue to melt my brother my sister what is it is this making your
