Disneyland’s Halloween Time SECRETS REVEALED | FULL TOUR Everything You Need To Know

hey everybody today in front of park fest i'm going to show you how to do halloween at disney there's so many things it's halloween time down disneyland let's check it out [Music] in today's video we're going to be giving away these club 33 mickey ears oh my gosh look how amazing you are if you want a chance to win these watch the whole video to find out how you become eligible to win these club 33 mickey ears it started september 3rd 2021 when halloween became full swing here in disneyland the main street's decorated we got pumpkins with a halloween treat i'm gonna show all these when you come down here you know what to look for the first thing you notice is main street is decorated with all kinds of like bunting autumn colors halloween times and plus pumpkins there are all kinds of pumpkins in the windows on the beams on the ceilings not ceilings on the roofs all kinds of pumpkins everywhere there are over 300 pumpkins and each one has been hand carved and no two are the same in fact what they did is they did a plastic cast mold of pumpkins and did that and and made this body of a different pumpkin they're so realistic that if you look at some of the pumpkins they even have like the little warts on them and everything when you walk down to the end of main street right as you're going to the castle you're going to see the partner statue and the partner said you now is surrounded by all these cool pumpkins let me show them to you we've got tarzan from adventureland and they all light up at night we've got jack skellington from new orleans square you have woody from frontierland you have winnie the pooh from critter country you've got tinkerbell from fantasyland roger rabbit please jessica from toontown and lastly you have buzz lightyear from tomorrowland all the lands are represented except for about two now of course you know on main street you can see the dapper dams but if you're lucky you might be able to see the cadaver dance they have disney characters going around and they're dressed up for halloween time so you might be able to see mickey minnie goofy pluto all in their halloween costumes keep a sharp eye out for them and sometimes they do like what's called a cavalcade where they go on a little parade you can see them there and look at their costumes [Music] mickey [Music] [Applause] oh we got the bad guys hey pinocchio [Music] captain hook looking good hi jasmine oh look jafar the queen jafar [Applause] okay now i'm going to take you into frontierland we're going to frontierland and see the only decorated tree in all of frontierland for halloween as you come into frontierland you'll see this one tree this is the only tree that's decorated for halloween in frontierland and it is the ray bradbury tree check out this little plaque right here on the night of halloween in 2007 the stately oak officially became the halloween tree realizing famed art their ray bradbury's dream of having a symbol for the holiday become a part of disneyland ray bradbury is an author and he wrote a story called the halloween tree and exactly 35 years to the day on halloween disney made this tree a reality to honor raid vibrant story the halloween tree you have to see it at nighttime though because it's so amazing this is my friend noel look at you in your little dapper orange vest looking really good just looking great playing a fun version of it's a small world [Music] oh [Music] yes and of course you have to see all the disney treats they have for halloween i remember it was so good look at these cookies i want that i want that i want that i want that i want that i love these not to mention those and then i want this i want this i want that i'll have that i'm gonna have that this is supposed to be amazing i'm gonna pass on the pineapple cookie that's the only thing oh shoot the mummy marshmallows oh now i gotta get that the cast member she just told me that this is the best i thought she's gonna say that but she's like no do that so let's do it let's get it well guys welcome to jack skeleton theater hey jack how you doing this is the one that they convinced me to buy i'm gonna try it right now do you guys know why didn't the uh skeleton why wasn't the skeleton cool because he didn't have a hip bone in his body got a little laugh over there all right it's a vanilla pig vanilla cake pop it sounds really good and i'm gonna try it the first time i'm not much of a kickball person amanda is though here we go oh my gosh i can't oh my gosh it's frozen i can't even do this take two i feel like a zombie brains oh this looks happy and healthy [Music] people are watching why didn't the skeleton cross the road he didn't have the guts [Music] oh goodbye jack last bite this is it is delicious when you go into disney california adventure you can see oogie boogie up there and you listen it's like you see how the bats are kind of making like wings and everything over there's a full moon he talks to you periodically so you want to be out here listening every once in a while and oogie boogie will talk to you [Music] i am now in disney california adventure and they also have decorations here for disney of course why not but i want to talk about the differences between the characters so you have mickey here and you have mickey over there mickey's costume here the costume of the characters here in disney california adventure are what are considered like if they made them themselves there's a homemade version which i think is awesome because a lot of people make their own costumes but if you go see mickey on the disneyland side their costumes there would be as if they bought it from a store so if you like homemade come to disney california adventure if you want to see what it looks like if mickey bought a customer store you go to the disneyland side right over here you can see minnie mouse and she's in a homemade like fortune tellers costume and i have to go in and say hi to her because we love her so much minnie i love you so much i came all i ran i ran here to see you because i love you so much and you look so good i love your outfit and you know that i love you so good to see you oh my god it's a good handle bye minnie did you notice that minnie's outfit was like a homemade outfit and she's a homemade like a fortune teller and i love it and that minnie right there she is one of my very favorites looking good mickey [Laughter] [Music] all right so in disney california adventure they got buena vista street sort of like the main street equivalent what they do is they put up all these purple buntings down the street and then at night time the trees are lit up with purple lights it's amazing awesome spooky cool whatever adjective you would like to use it's amazing make sure you get a chance to check it out evening as well another fun thing to see in disney california adventure is the window dressings right here they have these and they're like all the old like you know the old style of uh guys i ran all the way over here to see minnie mouse and now i'm like sweating but we're gonna continue on so these are done in the 1930s art style as you can see the skeleton's dancing and mickey playing on the piano oh oh looks like death has got manny mickey looks like death has mickey mouse okay this is a must-do during halloween time it is the only time you do this and it's so it's so good it's guardians after galaxy mission breakout but it's mission breakout after dark the monsters after dark is running after 3 p.m 3 p.m they close the guardians of the galaxy at 2 p.m flip it over then start at 3 00 pm they run monsters after dark except on halloween it's gonna be running all day and halloween so be sure to check it out i mean you have to go i was gonna say so if you have little ones it's a little it's a lot scarier than guardians galaxy but it's so fun what is the premise of monsters after dark so our friends the guardians of the galaxy have been broken out of the collector's tower by star-lord and rocket but unfortunately they left their little green tree friend behind and brute has been trapped in the building while all the monsters have escaped from their cages so you got to get in there and help drew bust out because don't want to leave the little tree wait they left baby group behind they forgot he's just so small what is different about it when you're walking through the display cases that actually have monsters in him are covered up because they've broken out also you'll notice that the employees the cast members they have on special response suits trying to respond to the crisis that's going on in the particular rise the power is off the lights are like glitchy the video of the collector is like it's glitchy right before you aboard the gantry look on the walls you'll see shadows of monsters running through it's kind of scary and the video during monsters after dark that video is different as well really cool thing in disney california adventure is when you come down the end of wendell street you're gonna see the statue it is the headless horseman statue and it's awesome and at night time they light it up with purple lights and smoke comes out of the horse's nose it is awesome be sure to check out the headless horse headless horseshoe be sure to check out the headless horseman statue particularly holiday overlay the haunted mansion has been doing the holiday overlay for 20 years and every year it has a different gingerbread house something kind of crazy or cool inside it well this year as the 20th anniversary of that they've cobbled all the gingerbread houses together and made like this frankenstein gingerbread one from little part of those last 19 gingerbread houses the number one thing that you have to do is check out the gingerbread house on the haunted mansion holiday overlay 19 different couple together gingerbread houses making the 20th gingerbread house frank is signing it
