Discord Keeps Cutting Out & Lag Fix!

what's up guys in this short tutorial I will show you how to prevent this court from cutting outs the incoming audio and lag we're using the application this should be quite an easy tutorial but if you still have any questions then leave a comment let me know the sounds issues and lag are either caused by an unreliable network connection or because the pcs components can't utilize the north resources the first streaks will be done in the server settings open up the server settings and here in the overview tab you should set the server region to where most of the server users are from in my case its central or western Europe don't forget to save your changes next navigate to your user settings and in the voice and video section make sure that your mic is not set to loud or quiet you can test this with the mic test and adjust the volume with this input volume slider I also suggest you to minimize the application to your tray while gaming or using another application to reduce lag next go to speedtest.net a link will be in a description below here you will see your latency download and upload speeds to your current connection if your ping is 80 milliseconds or your connection is under one megabyte per second then I really recommend you to troubleshoot your network connection connect your system by Ethernet cable to your router and restart your router if you haven't done this in a while you could also try to reduce the amount of devices connected to the same network in order to reduce lag and free up some resources for this course to utilize open up your task manager here in a processes tab expand discord and right-click the discord app and go to details from here in the details tab the discord app should be highlighted simply right-click it and set the priority to high we can also end some processes in the processes tab if you know what you're doing as ending the wrong processes can break your operating system absol X fortify all your browser running in the background can be ended if you need more performance lastly open up your resource monitor as you can see in a video here in the network tab open up the processes with network activity and after a few seconds you will see every process using your network connection again this might be your browser or a download button linking your connection you should enter the processes which use up your connection if you have a slow network connection I hope this helped you out leave a comment if you have any questions and see you in a next one
