[Dexbonus] HADES Part 3

I've had an eventful day so far already I I say that like it's only you know 10:00 in the morning or something but the song sounded really wack I don't know how to do I sound wack am I like those tic TOCs they're like whoo well while people are like filtering in I saw somebody really wanted to know the the glass wall story this morning so Clark he's been sniffling she's had a runny nose and was sneezing a little bit and this morning she woke up at like 6 o'clock with a cough so Sam was like you know what I'm just gonna go grab her she hasn't been feeling very well she would probably like to just be in here with us I was like sure why not it's 6:00 it's an hour earlier than she would normally get up she's probably awake for good right so um Sam went in and grabbed her and brought her into our room and she was like instantly wired like I'm in mommy and daddy's room hanging out messing with her [ __ ] slapping them in the face best morning ever right she's adorable I love her anyway so so she was being all cute and we were hanging out and I got up to go to the bathroom to like brush my teeth and stuff cuz I was like well I'm awake now I got up I went into the bathroom and I hear so when she runs she goes it's just just like having a blast running I guess so you could always you always know when she's running cuz off in the distance you here [Laughter] so I'm at the sink brushing my teeth and I look over right at the moment of impact when my daughter ran in and slammed up against the glass side of our shower and literally bounced back out the door [Music] instantly sobbing and so like it looked hilarious but she was instantly sobbing so I was like oh baby so I picked her up and and once she had like calmed down a little bit which didn't take too long once she had calmed down I brought her back over to the glass and I was like see it's glass and I like knocked on it and then she knocked on it and then she was having a lot of fun just knocking on the glass so it was funny and it was fine uh so yeah we were laughing about that we were like oh my god she just literally like like bird style just ran right into that and then Clark and I went downstairs and she had breakfast she wasn't super hungry nor Willie well she's eating I do the dishes from the night before because you know in the evening we get lazy and we don't want to do all the dishes so yeah she was like sitting in her high chair because we still don't have a dining table or anything so she was sitting in the high chair and eating her food and asked to be down it's like okay so I pulled her out and she's obsessed right now with sitting on chairs so poor Clarkie good thing kids are made of gum and forget about bumps fast yeah I was like hopefully she didn't hurt her nose it didn't seem like it at all though so what Clark does is she runs over to chairs and she goes sit down sit down um she also assigns chairs to people so we have we have like chairs that have been given to us but we don't have a table so we have just like chairs like up against a wall basically and she'll go over there and shook on mommy daddy daddy mommy mommy daddy right all four chairs will be like who knows sometimes daddy and gets three chairs and I only get one who knows but eventually she always goes to want to go sit down sit down because she wants me to help her get on the chair and just sit there and normally she'll just I'll put her in the chair and she'll sit there and just like sing to herself and watch me and look out the window and like it's cute right so I sit her down and she's just sitting there like doing everything and I was like cool I'm just gonna finish up the dishes I've only got a couple left doing dishes doing dishes doing dishes and again like clockwork I look over and I just see my kid here's the chair and she's like here right just like sitting there like normal just go just face-first just fall off of the chair and I was like what just happened it was literally her face like collided with the floor and then the rest of her body came after no babies and sobbing again more sobbing more sobbing cannot catch break today can't catch a break today Clarkie sweet sweet love of my life so we're stuck in we're snug in again she hasn't been feeling well and woke up this morning with like a coffin she's been sneezing a ton today so I was like you know what let's put on toughened Rock I'll pull out your blocks you can make towers and watch puffins rock and just chill this morning I'm not gonna normally mornings or like no screens we don't we don't do screens at all until typically like late afternoon but I was like you know what you're not feeling well I was put on puffs and Rach do you think it'd be great and so she was fine she was fine but by the time we we decided we were gonna walk into town which again is like 45 minute walk something like that you're like okay let's go for a walk we'll put Clarkie in the pram and we'll just go out as a family it'll be nice and typical so the pram when you fold it up it automatically puts the backing all the way back so typically strollers or prams have like like different angles right for the for the back to be if you want them like leaned back and like potentially sleeping or if you want them like sitting totally upright normally Clark is not having it and wants to sit as upright as possible so I put her in the pram and hadn't adjusted the back yet and she just just laid down it was like oh baby you're so tired and we got one of the everybody here has like not everybody but I've seen them a lot and so he finally got one everybody here has basically like like strollers sleeping bags for their kids because it gets cold here right it gets like bitter cold by January so everybody has these little sacs that that like all of the straps come through and seven they're basically like sleeping bags that just go into the into the stroller and then you can like zip them in right so we got one of those that's like waterproof and stuff because we don't have any any kind of a rain cover or anything so I was like if it rains at least the sack will like keep her dry and then we can put the thing over it so yeah we got her like a cozy little waterproof one but she just like laid back and I like put her legs in the sack and zipped it up and it technically zips like all the way up to here on her and she was just so we were like okay I guess this is what she wants to be so the entites she didn't sleep but the entire time we were out we were like how is our little caterpillar doing how's our little worm just all cocooned ready to burst into a beautiful butterfly she's just adorable so yeah this leads directly into what I tweeted before this dream which was I had a scare with my phone my mother-in-law medicine town and was like I'm gonna take Clark I'll take her back to my house we'll hang out she'll take a nap and then you guys can walk around because she knew that I wanted to get I really want to get Sam like an overcoat like a nice overcoat that was gonna be my Christmas present so she was like Brooklyn stay yet you a Christmas gift but it's one of those gifts you have to try on so you guys just like take some time and and just walk around just the two of you I'll take Clark II and we were like okay so we're walking around we're having a nice time we go to a couple of shops we realized that what we're looking for isn't really in town basically it's unfortunate because there's there's such a like a lot of if you go to England there are a lot of adverts for like support your high street which basically means hey all of this online shopping we realized is super convenient but a lot of stores are going out of business so try to like support the small businesses that are in your town right is like the concept support your high street so I was like there's so many stories here surely one of them has like what we're looking for and every single place we went they were like no no one here is gonna have that you should just go online that's like but I don't want to I want to support my high street but Sam's just so tall right to get him like an oversized style jacket is like it has to be huge like it has to be really long is the problem like none of them were long enough so they were like the sort of thing that you need nobody in town is gonna have that real so it's unfortunate long boy he's a long boy but yeah so they told us what to look for and there are tailors in town so if we like basically they told us what size Sam is so that was really sweet we went into a store and they like you know figured out what size of jacket he would need and our Society of code he would need and all of that stuff and they were like you're gonna look for this size you're gonna like search for this exact thing and then you know if it doesn't fit quite right you can always take it somewhere but at least it'll be long enough is the idea so sigh but it was at that moment that I said where's my phone and Sam goes did you leave it in boots and I said no I haven't used it since we were getting breakfast I don't know where it is and he was like well it might be in the pram which my mom has so called his mom she was like it's not here and I was like maybe I left it at the breakfast place maybe I took it out of my pocket at the breakfast place it's not there we looked everywhere and I was like maybe I never brought it I don't remember using it while we've been here and Sam goes I'm pretty sure you brought it and I said I don't think I did actually now that I'm thinking about it I haven't used it at all since we've been here I don't I don't think I had it and he goes all right well it's a long walk back but you have to stream anyway so we'll walk back if it's not at the house we'll do the like Find My Phone thing which you guys told me about so thank you very much I was like I actually know how to do the the phone ping thing so yeah he was like if we get home and it's not there and we'll do the ping and we'll like well like put a custom message on the phone and all that stuff and I was like okay we get home it's not here I go to do the find my phone it can't find it and I was like panicking at this point like what if they took out my SIM card what if they turned off the phone Sam was like well it's not turned off because I can call it it's just no one's answering it and I was like why can't you find it so hilariously Sam goes I'm just gonna call boots and I was like it's not at boots I didn't use it at boots I know it's not a boots it's like I'm just gonna call boots he calls it they were like oh yeah she left it here like right when she was checking out Sam was like you know if we had just gone into boots when I said I think you left it at boots could've avoided all of this it's like I know so shout out to Sam the reason he was like I'm convinced now more than ever that you left it at boots is because apparently that boots that we went to is a dead zone and so like calls can't get through really so he was like it would make sense if it's at boots because they'll find my iPhone or the Find My Phone thing wouldn't be able to find it because it's a there's like no reception in there so I was like positive it had to be in boots at that point but it was one of those situations where I was like I'm really sorry and he was like yeah you know we could have avoided all of this and I was like I heard I said I said I was sorry I said I was sorry okay no but yeah so fortunately my mother-in-law has to go back there anyway so she was like I will just grab it so uh uh thank goodness shout out to Sam crushing it well we were out before we figured out where the phone was while we were still out we were like holding hands and I like got a hot chocolate we were holding hands walking and I was like I've ruined it because what do you mean I was like your mom created a situation for us to just have a lovely afternoon and now it's entirely about whether or not my phone's been still fine but yeah what can you do [ __ ] happens but everything's fine everything Clark did not break her nose had two opportunities to break her nose today didn't and I got a delicious hot chocolate and my sweet husband figured out where my phone was so I'm gonna find the coolest overcoat I can and buy it today oh you know what else was really good about today before we hop into Hades you know what else was really good about today I found a store with jigsaw puzzles oh my god and I went in there and my mother-in-law was like I've never been in here this store is amazing it was like an arts and crafts store like a stationery store but it's just entirely like crafty stuff and then at the very back the reason I went in there was because they had a sign that was like we have Christmas jigsaw puzzles and I was like I just said to say I'm like I need a puzzle to do so I went in there and they were like oh yeah they're at the back and I went in the back and I found two amazing puzzles I found one puzzle that's like just like a Christmas scene because Jeannie and Kristen and I all talked about getting like Christmas puzzles and doing them and I also found one that is going to emotionally destroy me which is it's a picnic scene so it's like in a park but all of the people are avocados so the entire thing is green like it's all different shades of green and all of the people are little avocados my mother-in-law was like that puzzle is so cute but it looks really frustrating I was like I know and then I went to the front and both of the people at the front were like oh my god this puzzle we did this puzzle was like I'm really excited they were like you should be I'll take a picture of it it's not here right now cuz it was in the pram and again my mother-in-law ran away with our daughter so when it gets here I'll take a picture so I have two puzzles to do really jazzed about it anyways let's play some Hades huh very excited I really like this game I know I've said that I think it's pretty clear while I'm playing it but I do really like this game I love it when the people at the tiller interested in this stuff they sell it yeah there was this kind of funny like camaraderie feeling to go up there with a puzzle and have both of the people there be like oh this puzzle like we're really excited to talk about it with me and I was like oh you guys are very cute okay let's do this [ __ ] where's my child there we go oh my god cords everywhere Jesus um okay so fair warning for any of you who haven't watched Hades before it does have story elements to it so even though it is like a rogue light you start over and over and over again as you progress and as you talk to people you do get lore and you do get story stuff so this is our third time playing so if you don't want to be spoiled on things just keep that in mind and if you start watching and you're like wait this looks like a game I would love to play maybe I shouldn't watch this don't worry I'm not offended feel free to peace out and go play it but it is an early access escape attempts eleven you know what that's actually not bad oh that's right I forgot we hadn't finished uh we hadn't finished a run last time what is my build this time I can't even remember sure I'll get all of those right that's right that's
