An incredibly beautiful reminder to keep things in perspective.
This... was... awesome. Thankyou for sharing it.
Absolutely incredible. Iβm sitting here sick in bed and stuff like this helps me get out of my own head
The long blur-in /blur-out was a bit annoying.
Thanks for the reminder of how small and insignificant we are. This is all so fleeting. Really does help put things into perspective.
The possible scale of the universe is often not imagined enough (if that makes sense) because we use our own size as the reference. Rather think of it this way.
Imagine our ENTIRE observable universe. Now imagine our entire universe, being nothing but the size of a quark in the body of a creature in a larger world. The entire universe we live in, could be so small that it can't even be found by larger creatures. Just like us trying to find smaller things than quarks - those creatures can't even see our universe because it is so small.
See videos of scalings in our universe, then imagine this. If you didn't have an existential crisis before maybe you'll have one now.
I find it amusing that we always consider ourselves, and our universe, on the larger side of things. Looking for smaller and smaller stuff. While the possible reality could be that the entirety of our universe is so infinitely small and insignificant that creatures "above our scale" can't even detect us with their best technology.
Watching this right now. Kind of wish there was narration, but it's still awesome.
