DCS World: IDF Asset Pack/CH Shahed drone First Look

hey there everyone welcome to the YouTube video here on the channel my name is Emily today we are here in the world of DCs um looking at three new things in this video got the Sinai map we've got the IDF mods uh Israeli asset pack and lastly we've also got the new current Hill Shah head 136 mod to work out sorry I'll just I completely screwed that in a bit anyway uh so this is the Israeli um well this is most of the asset pack it includes a kc-135 skin which I don't install because I don't really use tank as much in game but the new stuff that you haven't yet seen is this thing in the middle from all the vehicles this is the David sling so you guys have seen Iron Dome so far Iron Dome is a show rat so short range air defense system um so it's a job is like short range what can kill it the um the longer range version of that is David sling which is what we're looking at now and this is sort of their Patriot equivalent this comes like I say so you've got the basically I've made a super battery which is really unrealistic but it works for purposes of today uh you've then got the uh Elm 208 radar there's three versions of this it's like a rotating version this version and one other I basically made a super battery for the Airfield my plan was that I just wanted to show off the ability of this thing to slug missiles and stuff but also not signed up as ability like line of sight because there's trees and I just couldn't set that up uh lastly obviously I've put the trucks in just to give it a resupplyability and this is obviously the endome launchers which is fine okay this is the shadowhead 136 I'll show you the command points when I get back basically A Renault truck with the five shower heads inside we've got 10 in total for 50 drones there you go okay this is the command post so this is again this is the Patriot command post we used but it works that's the main thing so what we'll do before we go ahead and launch the shower heads I've just put a singular 15a a few miles out just going to run in there you go got missile in the air already a stunner bear in mind that is that is fired at a range of 37 miles to be honest probably just about the Horizon for that thing um 2500 knots already 30 000 feet on a blister trajectory well speed up time as it flies in Burns in all the way of others of things oh no got a Glide phase so we'll watch The Burning Bonk must be a TVM because the aircraft didn't defend the aircraft would defend if it wanted to now what we'll do is we will have a go at the shower heads which I can't control because I've not said it'll probably BRB just like that we are back I'm going to say as well this isn't really any scenario I didn't put in a semi-realistic location it's within Egypt obviously we'll just say it's um Yom Kippur three 4.0 whatever we'll just say I want to attack the command post and what if I fifty round which is our full complement of things so they elevate oh the lids come off oh right there oh okay that makes sense they said I should be off and then they Fly Away that's really cool this is undeniably cool and actually um okay so they just fly incredibly slow 120 knots wow so the thing is this thing got to fall out the sky in store but no it's just a very slow it's basically model aircraft in it so it's very slow I'd love to see the IELTS deal with this bear in mind range to Target miles okay it's a 20 minute flight for them yeah so the trucks would now be driving off because I know this is launching for the aircraft aren't they yeah the basketball hasn't launched any yet wow so these are suppose weapons to press the F6 Cam and these came up what we shall do is basically just get a trailer on the go whilst they actually get again the air how quickly pull up so this is current Hill's website um yep and you can see here this is the mod so pretty standard current Hill fit really uh wheelchair c65 mph Max Shaw head 136 LM I don't know what LM stands for launcher something mechanized I guess custom textures with rough mats custom weapons custom animations because it's got a contamination the shower heads custom animations custom 3D model Custom Sounds and a damage model to be fair it's a really cool little model um I am going to have a lot of fun playing around with these because like look at that as a train of um of weapons you can see I say these are at 3 000 feet but they're only getting 120 knots so you know 120 150 miles an hour they've just crossed over the border so they're now going to get shot I'll be in the range fish out what I'm going to put a 20 times fast forward on just so we can see the engagement range and see if any get through basically what we're asked the question we are asking is an unrealistically large show head attack be treated by the under unrealistically large Iron Dome slash David sling situation I think what they say these these things have 1000 my ratings you could literally set this off in the morning and multiplayer server come back in the afternoon and watch it impact like it literally fight across the entire server at 120 knots it's a very cool weapon system oh they go weapons out weapons out so we've got David's sling stunners in the air so we'll ride the second Miss Island that is at a range of break um I've obviously thinking that off by a few seconds but 31 mile range and they are literally I to watch these things launch oh come on man look at that spicy looks like I just go straight up that's insane let's go straight up the intercoms and then you see the cons as they start flying down the formation and the game's stutters because like oh my God so many weapons explosions think about shot had one through six it's not big but it's also not stealthy um we'll quickly ride one for a bit and just so you can see it's not this isn't a big aircraft or a big thing you know this will be maybe two meters across by 30 seconds tall but that's been really propeller on the back creates a massive RCs um I don't know what my game is struggling this much I do apologize for probably the fact that I've got this many weapons in the air not quite a life if there's probably a bit much but oh well let's look at that look at that just that we'll just watch it from here for the pixels just drawing each other and that's interesting now these things pretty much seem to be self-destructing so they it I know there was an issue with the um like the fast missiles when they first launched attacking Iron Dome and I ended up flying off in the wrong direction making the whole situation worse I wonder if this is the opposite problem that's like a second before impact explode and most deck are flying to except for of course these things yeah look at that they're exploding above they're exploding on Target because I'm on the lead bomb oh there you go we've got to be pack in front of us why does these explosions happening above us yeah so so is IRL that would be a valid tactic that's similar to what the Pack 2 Patriot does pack three is a is a hit to kill right so it flies in the Target and whacks it with its face pack two Expo to nearby that's like a shotgun and basically uh fills the area around it the um you know with shrapnel and destroys it that way right all of these are still in the end and I think David slings expended itself this is I will say this is a new mod by uh by is it IDs mods IDs mod same guys who brought us the f-15i RAM and the F-16 um the Barack F16 let's check the yes f69 super and the f59 ram not the Brack what's the Brack it's like the F-15 being f15b no D sorry I do need to have a play around with it to be fair I'm just haven't yet had the chance oh hang on myself so actually all right so what's actually happening now is that everything's being reloaded as soon as around reloads it fires itself off was that a Kill I don't think so yeah I think these are still the same formation as they were oh no these explosions are happening in the formation now to shame that that all the targets are so hard to spot and we're also sell flying over Gaza which is probably one of the most heavily added like air defended areas in thingies in in the world really um so yeah well here we go and that is David sling's re-engaging there so it must be the uh systems Reloaded that's right again we'll ride with you in there we go we are starting to see kills now hits and kills on shower heads wow range to Target now bear in mind is still great 23 miles because these are so incredibly slow IRL I think he's fine lower but I'm happy to be wrong on that front I am happy to roll this is just David's slang Rippling off missiles now look at that it's crazy this is stuttering really hard as well because it's just like physics there you have it folks so it looks like we are about to see David sling come into its own now here's my argument here as well obviously I'll find out so one of those contested Parts as well I'm not going to get into so ownership and stuff however actually you're flying along a road here I know we're not we are other houses though so you know what goes up must come down would it be better to wait for yourself fly girl surprised just my thoughts or is it a subject a sovereignty sovereignty sovereignty sovereignty sort of shenanigan let's see if I and I'm going to get involved at all here probably not as the answer yeah look at the amount of rounds come out of David's slang name this is gonna be very hard I had to be I'm gonna try my low level striking skills and see how I can what we can do against this thing the swallow shot head can't do anything oh is it wrong okay we're quite sure ahead for now I think it might be shade but you know oh wait the way you're supposed to pronounce it here we go all of so we got to about that pretty much just 19 miles in less than what we've got to the halfway mark so to overcome this you need at least a hundred targets at once right now really quickly set myself up 10 miles away at lower level in f60 in uh F50 that's a try Eagle why not slick Strike Eagle okay okay um at 500 feet AGL 500 feet slick layer layer combine jtf red I don't know what that means you into hammers but you know it why not let's not give anyone some fake news today so I want to fly a slick jet just to give myself the original Max hahaha that's a future video [Laughter] the reason I'm laughing so hard is in an upcoming video I'm gonna be using jadens on the F-15 Strike Eagle and part of the mod seems to have come with that 15 Ex loadouts oh I did make a couple bags on though anyway right go low level and uh see what happens I'm gonna double check I'm gonna back out of that actions check I did that player good I put a tug open over the other hat saw if I can get gun rounds off over like if I can overfly or get near the Airfield and get gun runs off that's what I'll count as mission mission accomplished mission accomplished Metro sorry that's stuck in my head again yeah I used a Kazakh f60 f-15e for the Target aircraft I've been practicing with the F-15 in b um pause really fast like the texture to chance to slow down this also feels a different color as it works on flying in daytime for the first time I don't know arm Arms Gun mode on using out wagon because that's a one button push out of ground guns multiple button pushes what oh I crash in that trees I clipped that tree so hard I'm going to I'm going to refly that um I clipped that tree so hard I actually knocked out the building behind the tree not the tree itself wow oh man um our ground HUD mode now that cross you see at the top of the gun set is the at Ground Gun Site basic kind of attack here is Get Low between the trees so that way The Radars do sight of me boom of the Airfield where's hiding down there it is oh being locked up now well oh yeah drink that one um I want to see if my gun round's actually at the ground my gun runs hit a thing look at that yeah enough to come post out that's a mission kill so it just goes to show even the best systems in the world I don't watch that on replay to be fair uh even the best systems in the world can't guard against everything as you can see guys by the way this well the I can't actually show my desktops I got service in there I don't want you guys to see that I'm a member of but David's sling is pretty cool um I've had a lot of fun with that uh it's literally brand new as well um it's first combat interception was the May 10th 2023 um they're also work on the so yeah IDF mods is where it's at I'll link to their Discord they work on the fe18d which I think will be a mod for the f-18c um they just they just works on some awesome stuff um you've also obviously got the Iron Dome which sort of killed us there um yeah I'm very excited to see where they bring this to I think they also had the F-15 uh d as well for uh for stuff but yeah anyway um again you've got the IDF you got you've got loads of mods there basically anywho what we shall do just watch this this end so starting our systems further on I was fairly sure for Syria map you can't clip the power cables on we'll crash you I don't think you'd die if anything power cables especially at this speed but you know you can see right now obviously radar is line of sight to a very large extent if we sit and watch that from The Radars perspective which is this will be the road that's tracking us it's just these trees which is how we could get away with doing that anyway at low level bombing it in this is what as well wire is 300 um or s800 S 400 have Radars on masts because it gets them above the tree line and it makes it they're actually very difficult oh I know what's happened there's a second attempt at that sorry if you're saying this one I'm not even that low I'm just aggressively fast and there's had to rare base uh where's the David's of the IAD site we're going to travel flow at that behind us right at around me now here's the thing we got shot at as well so that way I try to hit kind of measures I did miss out is tracking us miss us so I think that's one missile missed I went off that way oh [Laughter] um yeah that's a screenshot and then I've got the guns got tally on the site and just sprayed and prayed you see them yeah and then I got hit I took a basically miss out of the face wait did that miss our camera that mess I came around behind me it's a bloody outrage that is it's insane we can see my gun runs obviously already the damage is done at this point missiles all right you know you can see the traces raiding hell would not want to be in the iron sight then
