Hello friends good morning welcome to a new day in the life of vlog i got a fun bun today so you know it's gonna be a good one i just wanted to change it to workout clothes like and wear them all day because when they're comfortable and two i really want to work out and i haven't worked out on the vlog in a long time and i have some really good at-home workouts that i found on youtube so i want to share that with you guys um and i just like whenever i wear workout clothes i feel like i kind of have like some more motivation and i just feel kind of more comfortable i don't know maybe it's just me but let me know if you relate to that and today i actually woke up with a migraine which is not a fun way to start the day thankfully it wasn't crazy crazy intense but i did have to lay down for a little brandon was super sweet to me and helped me feel better and i'm definitely on the mend i still have like a little bit of a headache um and i was feeling like really nauseous and sensitive to any light but i'm feeling way better now so super thankful and ready to tackle the day i have a bit of computer work i want to get done today so that's what we're gonna do right now and then i also have some orders to pack up for my online shop and then i have some filming i wanna touch up on my nails work out so we're gonna have a busy fun productive day and i'm so excited to spend time with you all the future is okay i got some computer work done there's brandon behind me um and now i'm going to film slash make lunch so i'm doing a video on five healthy vegetarian lunch ideas it was actually in my last vlog i've been filming this for a while basically i just like film a recipe a day so that it's not too overwhelming and i can kind of just pace it and make sure i get it all done um because making five different recipes and filming it all in one day like would be very time consuming so that's kind of how i like space it out um also i forgot to tell you guys that this week i'm doing a little challenge for myself and i'm not eating sugar which if you know me you know i have such a sweet tooth i love to bake i love to eat sugar so it's definitely different which i'm wondering if that has anything to do with my headache and my migraine because maybe i'm just like in a sugar detox i'm still eating fruit which obviously has natural sugars but like anything with artificial and added sugars like even our crackers and our pita chips like our bread i haven't been eating any of that so that's why i had a rice cake this morning with my peanut butter and banana so a little different than my peanut butter toast so yeah it's going okay it's only been one day so it hasn't been that long but yeah it's a good little challenge and i think it's a good cleanse because i have been breaking out quite a bit um right here and down here i have makeup so it's a little trickier to see right now but yeah i'm just trying to kind of like cleanse my body out and do a little challenge so that's what i've been doing but yeah i'm gonna set up my little filming and this is my basil plant because for this recipe i'm making homemade pesto and it's gonna be like a little pesto pasta thing so i'm a little nervous because i've never made pesto before but i'm thinking it'll be good and i'm basically gonna use all of these leaves because you need a lot of basil to make pesto so we shall see now my basil plant is looking so sad now because i just took all the leaves off to make this pesto oh my goodness you seriously need so much basil to make pesto it's crazy we'll see how fast they grow back hopefully really fast because it looks super super sad okay i'm about to process and blend up the ingredients for the pesto but oh my gosh it smells so good it smells like a five-star italian restaurant so my expectations are pretty high but i'm still a little nervous okay i just finished filming the recipe here is the final product a delicious pasta pasta pesto pasta with mozzarella and tomatoes lots of yummy spices and this is the pesto so it is yummy but i did have some technical difficulties because my blender is quite large and i don't have a food processor and it kind of like isn't big enough to get blended really well in my blender so a food processor or just bigger portions would have been better but i'm glad it turned out yummy and brandon and i are just going to each fixable and then enjoy a little lunch lunch was delicious i have major garlic breath right now though because as i showed you in the blender it couldn't really blend it really finely because it wasn't enough to fill up the blender so i had like pretty big chunks of garlic and it shows because my breath is just so garlicky but it was yummy and fun to try something new and make that homemade pesto so now i have quite a bit of energy so i'm just gonna get after it and i'm going to do a little fridge organization like i mentioned i would this morning and it's not terribly messy but it's just kind of there's no sense of order to it right now because we have quite a bit of leftovers and it's kind of hard to find stuff so i'm just going to take everything out not everything i'm not going to do the doors but i'll do the big shelves and take everything out and then wipe it down and then organize it a bit i think i'm gonna do it like breakfast lunch and dinner on each shelf i'll show you guys what i'm thinking but before i do that i think it is time for a little iced coffee i love seeing brandon's reaction when i say it's iced coffee time because he loves it i barely drink any iced coffee this morning let me show you i mean not iced coffee but regular coffee i barely drink any here this is how much i have left in my cup i have like two sips i don't know i just wasn't feeling it i think because my head was hurting i just didn't have a huge appetite um but it's fine more for iced coffee afternoon coffee but mine isn't going to be that yummy because i'm not having sugar so i'm not going to put any fun syrup or anything like that i'll just put a little bit of coconut milk um what else could i do i guess i could do a little yeah i could do honey i could do vanilla extract i don't know maybe i'll make like a yeah maybe i'll whip together some like vanilla extract and coconut milk and maybe a little cinnamon to top off the iced coffee that sounds good let's try that out so do real cute so i did the coconut milk with a splash of vanilla extract and some cinnamon so hopefully they'll be nice and flavorful and if brandon doesn't like it i can add some sugar to his thank you babe i can add kind of watery or something just dull you got some syrup pretty good we're getting him some syrup he isn't satisfied salted caramel or vanilla um oh i want sugar too i want syrup too okay it's all cleared out and i'm gonna wipe it down i'm just gonna use this ever spring lemon and coriander spray so it's nice and fresh and then i'll organize it all back in we got a lot of food all right are you ready for the grand reveal huh look at that symmetry it is just so satisfying so on top we have all well we have our drinks like our fancy waters um and then we have oatmeal and pineapple and pancake leftovers from this weekend so that's like all breakfast stuff and then on this row we have our eggs and then some fruit some cut up apple back there and the spinach and then on this row we have like a bunch of cut up veggies and our hummus and then on this bottom row we have lots of leftovers so this is the stuff that i made oh it's so dark hello wake up okay well one second there we go that's way better okay look at that you can see that so much more clearly um but yeah so this row is all of our leftovers so this is what we'll have for dinner tonight it's the tacos from last night and the tortillas and just some more veggies and then that's pretty much it i didn't touch the drawers but in this one we just keep our cheese and then in this one we keep our veggies and then in the bottom drawer we eat our fruit if like the strawberries and berries i don't put on the bottom drawer but like oranges and grapes and stuff are fine in there so there it is i'm so happy with it it really just brings a lot of joy to have an organized fridge okay i just got some work done i just sat all cozy on the couch and did some laptop work and now i am about to pack up some orders some of my closet sale orders so this is the last bit and after i pack them all up i'll just drop them off at the post office and then i'll be done so that is awesome i'm still working on my iced coffee it is so bland and watery because the ice kind of melted because i take forever to drink my coffee which is probably good because since i love it so much if i drink it really fast i would just be like drinking too much of it so i think that's a good thing but some other thing that i really wanted to do was actually take like a cute photo of my clothing rack right here um so i took one on my iphone the other day i'll show you guys and it's really cute but i want to try to take it here this is what it looks like it looks so sweet in all the pastels i just really like it um but i wanna try to take a new one and i'm gonna use my big camera which i haven't used in so long i've really just been using my iphone for almost all of my photos but i want to try to take like a cute little close-up of the clothing rack um just for like a little fun photo idea so i'm gonna do that right now and then we will start packing up the orders it's already what time is it it's already three o'clock and brandon will work until around 4 30 and i'm gonna try to work out like maybe at four or right at 4 30 um once he gets done with work because i don't like to be too loud but lately i've just been putting the workout in my airpods where are they right here and then just putting it on the screen so i can hear it but it's not really distracting for him so i'm gonna do that soon and then i will start making dinner because he plays basketball tonight so he's gonna leave around five um so i gotta have dinner ready for him earlier i mean he could make it himself too but i love to make him dinner so i'm probably gonna be hungry anyways okay this is the photo i got i think it's really sweet it's just so light and airy and show some of my favorite clothing pieces right now spring fashion is truly my favorite do it's time to get our workout done and the one that i'm gonna do today is this 20 minute low impact full body workout by mad fit and i've been loving her workouts they're really short and sweet and efficient and even though they are so short like if i decide to do a 15 minute or 20 minute one i still feel it which is so great because i if i feel like i don't have enough time there really is no excuse because it's only 15 or 20 minutes out of my whole day so i really love that and she has some low impact ones which are great because obviously we live in an apartment and we have people living under us so she has ones where there's like no equipment and no jumping or not or minimal jumping or anything like that so you're not being super noisy so your neighbors you don't drive your neighbors crazy so it's good stuff so i'm gonna do that right now and then get started on dinner so okay to finish the workout it only took 20 minutes and was so great built up a sweat i was out of breath perfect and again it's just so efficient so i'll link the one i did today in the description but now i gotta hurry up and make dinner for this one so he can have some before he plays basketball um and then when he's playing basketball i'm gonna do a face mask watch one of my favorite shows and just have a little chill night so it's gonna be good okay so this is the taco situation for dinner i didn't make mine yet but i made brandon's and so like i mentioned earlier i made these homemade tortillas yesterday last night and this is what they look like they definitely do not oh this one got a little extra burnt but they do not look like authentic tortillas whatsoever i mean a little bit um but basically wow i look crazy when i was grocery shopping yesterday i was looking at all the tortillas and they all just seemed like super processed with a ton of ingredients and the cola there's a cauliflower caulipower tongue twister caulipower um that's where we get our cauliflower that's the brand where we get our cauliflower pizza crusts they have tortillas as well um but i went grocery shopping at target and they didn't have any in stock i've never tried these tortillas before but i wanted to try them and so when they didn't have any in stock i was like okay well let me try to make tortillas because i've never tried that before and i just looked up a recipe and it's really pretty simple and again they're not authentic like the ones you get at the grocery store but i think they're really tasty and i know exactly what went into them and they're nice and fresh so thumbs up on that i'm really happy with that and then for the toppings well we have our bean and rice base and then i put some avocado cilantro cheddar cheese greek yogurt plain greek yogurt some salsa cilantro jalapenos and i'm gonna squeeze on some fresh lime juice also i really want to enjoy a nice cold glass of kombucha in a wine glass of course while i make my dinner but i'm nervous because i haven't checked if they add sugar into it obviously there's a ton of sugar in this because it's fruit because they have fruit juice but i don't think they add includes zero gram added sugar i'm gonna have some i'm gonna put a lot of ice so i water it down but that's not cheating right i mean i don't know how people would have zero sugar that would mean they can't have any fruit right fruit is healthy so kombucha is healthy too so i'm gonna have it pour myself a nice glass you eating with me no one's not ready yet but you can eat at the bar and all right i'm making it right now but you should go ahead and eat yours so you don't get a stomach ache while you play basketball i didn't even buy another bottle of kombucha sweet so we have to savor it we have lots of fun cheers um i was just laughing because brandon's at the sink and he was like leaning over eating his orange slices because he always eats a fresh orange after dinner it's his routine it's his night routine and i said you look like an old man and he said you look like a youngster which is so funny because when we were dating in high school i used to call him old man like as a flirty thing which it does not sound party oh hey old man i'm dead that does not okay it it worked it worked okay and he would call me youngster this is like creepy he would call me youngster because i was two years younger than him and it just brought me back to our high school days it was funny maybe you had to be there i don't know look at this basketball star what are those shoes they're so chunky thank you have fun babe oh are you offended i'm missing your shoes it's time to put the diffuser on and just get into a chill zen mode i currently have lemon essential oils in my diffuser and it smells so so fresh and nice okay so while b is at basketball i'm going to just do a little self care take a shower wash this crazy hair um so the first thing i want to do is a face mask which if you follow me on instagram and you saw my tumeric face mask saga last week i think it was um you will know the backstory but basically i've been making turmeric face masks and if you're not sure what turmeric is it's a spice it's like this a bright orange spice and apparently it's really good it has a ton of health bit benefits if you ingest it so if you add it to food but also it has skin benefits as well and it's supposed to brighten and just kind of tighten your pores maybe i'm not really sure of the specifics but i just know it's good for you so i'm like heck yeah i want that on my face so i mixed it in with a face mask a clay face mask i already had and it turned out great but the thing is with turmeric it stains so easily and it is bright bright yellow and so i was nervous that if i put it on my face it would make my face yellow and it would like keep it yellow and it definitely does a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bit but it's not dramatic at all so i'm still gonna do it but it's kind of nerve-wracking because last the first time i did it it also got on my white sheets so tonight i'm gonna first wash my face i've been using this tula face wash which i love it's the cold clastic classic purifying face cleanser um so that i just have a clean base for my face mask and then i'm going to keep it on for a bit and then shower and make sure i really scrub off all the face mask and all the turmeric and i'll also use a toner just to make sure that it's all off and i don't turn my sheets yellow so that's the plan oh and i also have been doing dry brushing which is apparently good for your lymph nodes i'm just really getting into all the health and beauty stuff um and so basically you just brush with a dry brush which i'll link this one down below it's just from amazon i think it was around ten dollars but it had tons of great ratings so i feel good about it again i'm still learning about like lymph nodes and dry brushing but basically it just helps get them going and of course it's a good exfoliator as well so that is the plan for my little self-care evening see this is the perfect example of turmeric staining stuff okay it's not focusing but my nails i applied the face mask with my hands a little bit and my nail polish turned yellow here one second come on camera focus here we go you guys see that i'm taking my nail polish off anyways because obviously it's looking very sad but see how yellow it gets that's why you need to be careful when you use turmeric okay i'm so fresh and clean and ready to paint my nails i got the set up got my candle got my diffuser i'm all cozy this is the nail polish i've been using it's just a white polish and then the sc gel top coat and it's been working okay i think i'm just gonna not paint my fingernails and then just paint my toes and hopefully i'll be able to get my fingernails done soon we'll see the places are open but i just i'm gonna wait a little bit longer and then maybe get them done kind of assess the situation but i have this show on that i actually discovered last night it's called the big flower fight and it's kind of like the great british baking show but it's for flowers so it's like a competition but it's really sweet and all the people are so creative and they make these beautiful sculptures and they have like a different theme for each episode i don't know it's just really fun and i'm super super enjoying it again it's a flower fight on netflix so if you're looking for a happy show i highly recommend all right friends i've been having so much fun all cozy watching my show and doing my nails and just doing some computer work so it's been a good night and brandon had so much fun playing basketball so that's awesome and we just got off the phone with our homebuilder actually and got kind of more like insight of what everything's going on like there have been delays due to covid um which i totally understand like we are completely understanding but it's kind of just been like a lot of waiting which is fine but i feel like we're getting closer to breaking ground we're just so happy um but yeah so it's been a good day and thank you guys so much for hanging out with me and spending time with me i love you all so much and cannot wait to see you super soon know what we have let's hold on tight found what we're looking for in life
