DawgStrip - CarTopper - Mini Boat

this time on dog strip we get creative with an old car top storage unit we found in the backyard does it look like a boat to you it sure looks like a boat to us we let creativity run wild as we hit the high seas for some dog strip nautical adventure what can go wrong [Music] this time we're going to do something a wee bit different with what you see here we are going to build a boat because why not the colvette quarantine has us a little cooped up and decision making starts to become questionable while not being experts in boat design please don't criticize us too hard we just wanted to slap some junk together and see what would happen the grinder and the welder barely even came out for this project please enjoy the following building montage [Music] this paint is like 20 years old still good it is not still good look at this i guess this is healthy now for the glue so now what we got to do is fill the gaps between the plywood and the outer skin for that expanding foam is your friend never claimed to be a master carpenter i think i broke the nozzle instructions were unclear [Music] next we attach to propulsion a 22cc motor capable of producing a maximum of 1.2 horsepowers and after a remote throttle was built we then fabricated a steering system with this a fully functioning helm and now this is starting to look more and more like a real boat mostly every boat needs an a [Music] with all system checks completed it's time to head down the road towards the boat launch clearly this is an everyday sight so nothing fancy to see here move along now it's time to go boating yes chip chip cheerio and now for a psa if you're going to play underwater wear your life jacket no one chooses when they're going to have an accident and now back to the fun i want it on record i disagree with this project nothing can go wrong [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] my [Music] well how was the test uh floating terrifyingly awesome wow then it wasn't for that extra four inches you'd be sunk luckily the water came up to the back of that extra four inches next time on dog strip we head back to the patikan speedway for more hit the pass racing in our motor home we get battered by the competition this was a rough one packed full of action please show your support and leave a comment below make sure you like and subscribe so you don't miss out on the next video test pilot acquired [Music] sometimes you gotta flaunt what you got [Music] some you
