it but he's kind of retro some of the there was a it was a man that used to be very popular his name was elvis elvis presley i never saw him i'm not that old okay but i remember my dad told me a story whenever he was a kid and he was went to a concert with elvis presley and he said everything was calm and he was outside working one of the booths out in the foyer of this concert and he said everyone was so nice and and even though it was in a small town everyone was dressed up nice and looked like they were they were ready for church or something he said it was just so organized and polite and he said i don't know what happened he said all of a sudden the lights flicker just a little bit and he said i heard this sound coming from the auditorium elvis wasn't on stage yet but just that sound alone turned normal people into maniacs he said he said people that were acting so calm and collected and cool one moment when they heard the sound of the king of rock and roll he said they were sliding and they were jumping and pulling and pushing people that's kind of what this reminds me tonight there's some young people that realize i hear the sound it'll take not just a little sound the king of kings [Music] here hey man he's here he's here amen praise god it is so good to see you again welcome to friday night fire the pentecostals of katie i haven't met you yet my name is rob mckee i'm the senior pastor here at the church and we're just thrilled that all of you are here with us and um and i just want to take a moment and give honor to our wonderful youth pastor and his wife brother and sister gage amen the justin and sister brooke gage have have done such an amazing job and i appreciate them and all of the youth staff that have helped put all this on there's a lot of fun stuff that you're going to be able to enjoy after service tonight and it's just it's it's always over the top and i appreciate all the hard work they have put into this and i believe my wife is out in the crowd somewhere share gail ray wave your hand shara shara she was talking so right all right good good to have my wife here tonight and uh to all of the pastors i again want to say if you're a he spoke for us here but brother david jennings is a preacher he's a very gifted singer musician i mean this this couple they are a dynamic powerful couple brothers sister jennings are are used all over our fellowship and have been a blessing to the apostolic movement and so we want to bring him to the podium tonight it is such an honor to have him here how many is going to help the preacher be here brother gage brother wilson so good to see you all these brethren god bless you uh so glad y'all are here and i see a lot of familiar faces in the congregation tonight and it is an honor to have you here in the midst of this congregation i believe the lord is going to help us tonight i really do i believe the lord is going to help us tonight i would be remiss if i did not give honor to my beautiful spouse she is amazing sister bethany she's the one that keeps me in line all the husbands in the house say amen i i do believe that the lord is is going to meet us here of course giving honor to my pastor pastor benjamin white honored to my bishop bishop douglas white i had quite a time when i was trying to figure out what the word of the lord would say to this congregation here tonight i can tell you those of you that know me you know i love to shout i just love to shout i love to have a good time in the holy ghost i love having a good time but as i was standing up here i looked out at the congregation and i noticed that there was about 25 percent of everybody that had a shout in their spirit then i noticed the other 75 just waiting for it to hit just the right thing before they cut loose in the house i come to preach to the hundred percent tonight both those shouting and those not shouting i want to bring some clarity for somebody here in the house of the lord tonight part of the reason why you may not feel the freedom to shout i wish i could say i came with a word for you that would cause you to hang from the chandeliers my prayer for you tonight is that you would crawl to an altar that would change your life that you would get to an altar that would change your outlook on your future we're gonna open to the word of the lord first corinthians chapter six starting at verse nine first corinthians chapter six starting at verse 9 and the word of the lord says this know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of god be not deceived neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor uh effeminate nor abusers of themselves with mankind nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkard nor uh revilers nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of god and such were some of you look at your neighbor and say such were some of you but ye are washed but ye are sanctified but ye are justified in the name of the lord jesus and by the spirit of our god and then this next scripture happens and this is what really gets me all things are lawful unto me but all things are not expedient all things are lawful for me but i will not be brought under the power of any all things are lawful unto me but all things are not expedient what that word expedient means that means all things are not profitable in other words all things are not to your benefit you can do whatever you want to do but all things are not necessarily for your benefit before we're seated tonight why don't you just slip a hand in the air right here and just ask god to meet us here in this house come on some of you have already begun to respond in this service but we're going to go a little bit deeper here tonight and i want everybody to be prepared for it come on you don't have to look around at your neighbor it needs to be personal tonight what god wants to do is going to be very personal tonight jesus we ask that you move jesus we ask that you flow jesus we ask that you would operate in this house tonight i pray now god that you would begin to cleanse the hearts of those that are here in this service begin to move god on behalf of your people begin to flow and operate in this service here tonight come on really let your heart cry out for just a moment before we get on with this preaching come on i want your heart to be open tonight so that the lord can do what he needs to do come on really cry out to him whatever you brought in here with you you need to get it out of your spirit now you need to say god whatever you want to do i'm willing for you to do it come on make up in your mind right here for just a moment god i'm not going to leave this place the way that i came in [Music] yes lord yes lord and you may be seated in the house of the lord i want to start off by talking about just a couple of things i love to do research i love research i love knowing the stuff anybody just love to know stuff you know those those type of facts and details that you know it's kind of why do you know that information i like to know the why do you know that information type stuff like i don't know maybe the 10 most important inventions of our day the 10 most earth-shaking and shattering inventions of our day i don't know maybe one like the wheel the wheel changed everybody's lives forever how about the light bulb we see a bunch of light bulbs in here tonight how about the nail there's nails all through all these walls little things like that that changed our lives how about the compass you know that gps that you have on your phone and you see that little thing in the bottom left and you don't even pay attention to it because it's not telling you which way to turn it's a compass that's what that's called for those of you that don't know how about the printing press yeah a lot of you brought your bibles in here tonight printing press that's how we get things like that how about the internal combustion engine how many of you rode in a vehicle to get to church tonight well we thank you whoever made the engine like that okay how about penicillin anybody know what penicillin is great some of you have been sick before uh how about the internet now y'all know good and well y'all spend most of your days on the internet to give me that little bit of amen because i'm speaking the truth up here the internet was one of the greatest creations that was ever made my father-in-law always says that i share a zip code with google because i'm looking up so much information all the time it's just the way i am but one of the most important ones that i really like it's something that i use all the time and that is the cell phone i have a cell phone many of you in the building you have a cell phone now y'all are cringing right now because you don't know if i'm getting ready to preach against cell phones preach four cell phones some of y'all have already turned your phones off since you've been in here so let's talk about a little bit of history about these cell phones number one your mobile phone has more computing power than the computers that were on the apollo 11. in 1983 the first mobile phone went on sale in the united states of america right at about anybody guess 4 000 dollars and we complain about iphones mobile phones have 18 times more bacteria than toilet handles for all of you germaphobes in the building you're thinking about coming to the altar right now mobile phone radiation can cause insomnia headaches and confusion the best selling electrical gadget in history is the nokia cell phone now half of y'all ain't laughing because you're you're not even old enough to know what that is how many of y'all know what a nokia cell phone is okay all right just making sure i'm not up here by myself a thousand phones are dropped in toilets in britain every year don't know what they have going on in their life more people in the world have mobile phones than toilets i'll let that one sit right there here's another one so many facebook photos and videos are uploaded that it takes 27 percent of the upstream web traffic in the world 27 of the entire upstream web basically all that good stuff so here's another one an apple iphone will consume 25 cents worth of u.s energy per year if charged one time a day how many of you thought it was a lot more than that okay i thought it was a lot more the technology behind iphones relies on about 250 000 patents individual patents 47 percent of millennials have said in a survey that they use their smartphones to avoid having conversations with people or to just avoid people in general and some of y'all are my a man corner right now because you probably did it today did you know that in the year 2015 more people have died by taking selfies than by shark attack another one i'ma let that sit right there in the uk drivers who cause death by using their mobile phones face life in prison [Music] in japan 90 of mobile devices are waterproof because young people use their mobile devices even in the shower now there ain't nobody important enough for me to be texting while i'm in the shower can i get an amen in the house i will say that iphones or just phones in general are pretty important if i were to ask a lot of you in this house what is the one thing that you could not leave your house without you would most likely say i can't leave the house without my cell phone or maybe you're five minutes down the road driving and you think you know what i've got to stop and go back and go grab my cell phone how am i supposed to live without it has anybody noticed though that on your phone your battery life is just getting less and less and less or like your phone is dying quicker am i the only one okay so it's not just me come on you you know exactly what i'm talking about when when you wake up in the morning and you get on your phone and it's only been about three or four hours and you look down at your phone and it's already on 35 percent how does that happen you know it's one of my biggest pet peeves and i told my wife i wasn't going to talk about her so i won't it's one of my biggest pet peeves when people are like why is my phone dying so quickly when they have every single app known to man opened up in the background on their phone [Applause] not even realizing that the apps are completely draining the energy of their phone even taking up memory capacity on their phone come on i know i'm talking to some of you in the house right now you know what i'm talking about how how whenever you get asked to upload something to dropbox and you're like man i got to delete some pictures off my phone because i don't have any space left you know what i'm talking about it's those things those apps that you have on your phone that are just constantly running in the background but if you would allow me tonight i would like to help somebody and bring some clarity to somebody's life and i want to help somebody sold tonight to explain to you why you have been losing your energy to explain to you why your spirit has been dying so quickly to explain to you why every time something good is getting ready to happen you have to delete some things out of your life ah y'all might want to let me preach in this house tonight because i feel like somebody's life needs to be changed here tonight [Applause] for the next few moments i'd like to preach to this congregation drained drained you see some have been asking yourself the question why can i not feel what i use to feel why is my battery dying so quickly why is it that i cannot see the way that i used to see or maybe why when i pray it takes me so long to tap into the spirit of god the interesting thing about having things running in the background constantly on your cell phone is what you're actually doing is yes you are depleting your energy but you are also allowing those things on your phone to collect data you ever got the message on your phone that says are we allowed to collect data from this allow or do not allow that means the whole time when everything is running it knows where you are it knows where you're going it knows where you parked it knows where you stopped it has a way of of even taking things that you have been looking at and finding ways to grab your interest while you're doing things y'all know what i'm talking about those of you that like guns or fishing rods or anything like that you get on academy's website you go to look it up you get on your facebook and the next thing you know the next five ads on facebook are guns and fishing rods and sales that academy has going on that you didn't even ask for come on you know what i'm talking about in other words what's what's going to be presented to you is something that is going to appeal to your own lust and things that are based off of things that have been collected information that has already been obtained from things running in the background of your phone just like those same things that are collecting information from things that you are allowing to run in the background of your life the issue is we allow these things to happen without ever shutting them off i don't know some of you right now on your phone you probably have maps still pulled up and running in the background on your phone because you had to use a gps to get here it's okay you don't have to pull your phone out some of you have maps running in the background right now collecting information about where you are where you're sitting your exact concordance and here's the thing maps has a way of just keeping you really really focused as you're driving down the road anybody seen advertisements on maps now where it tries to get you to pull over and eat the fast food place that you don't even want to eat i don't know let's talk about let's talk about the map of your life you don't know where you're going you don't know where you're going to be so it occupies a lot of your energy and it occupies a lot of your time because you don't know where the map of your life is leading you to you don't understand where the next step that god has for you is can i preach in this house tonight you don't know what your next turn is going to be in your life you don't know which way you're going to turn whether it's right whether it's left and you don't even know when it's going to be your turn to do something come on i'm talking about the things running in the background of your life you don't know when it's going to be your turn to sing you don't know when it's going to be your turn to praise you don't know when it's going to be your turn to get a miracle you don't know when it's going to be your time to to do what god wants you to do you don't know so it controls your mind every day that you wake up it's in your mind what am i going to do today where am i supposed to be what am i going to do which way is the church going to go today which way is the youth group going to go today what decisions am i going to make for my life today come on i'm talking about the maps running in the background of your life oh i don't know can we just get real tonight in the house what about those money apps that you got on your phone apple wallet cash app venmo paypal you know those money apps that stay up behind because you're waiting for a payment to get to you but the payment just so happens to never come whoops you know it's those type of things that weigh you down and drain your energy trying to figure out when the finances are going to be just right for you to make that move that you need to make or i don't know maybe it's the times when you come to church and the spirit of god starts to move on you and tells you to give a specific amount but you constantly rebuttal because the first thing you want to do is open up the cash app or open up your your bank account on your phone and say well god i only got such and such money i don't have it to give to you come on i'm talking about things that weigh on your life tonight what about oh my goodness well we might as well just go ahead and go there what about social media can i preach about it tonight i'm on social media too so don't take me wrong but the agenda of social media is to keep your attention it's it's it's to make sure that your attention is constantly pulled towards the website towards the app oh you know all the time when you're walking around and you get a random message from instagram on your phone that tells you that somebody else liked somebody else's picture that wasn't even you why does it matter it's because instagram wants you to follow instagram it wants all of your attention i don't know maybe facebook whenever that one thing that you're subscribed to post another cooking video and you haven't been on your facebook all day but all of a sudden come watch this cooking video you'll really enjoy it i'm talking about your attention or or maybe those people that are always posting things for attention you better be careful what you're posting on social media and what type of attention that you are attracting young man young lady i'm talking about the things running in the background of your life you better be careful what type of traffic that you are inviting into your life because you may get them in there and not know how to get them out of there oh i don't know maybe maybe something running in the background of your life is that person that you always see and you aspire to be just like them and you feel that you're not accomplished because you're not them and everything they post is so glamorous and everything they post is so great but what about me what about my life why don't my pictures look like their pictures why don't i get over a thousand likes on my pictures come on i'm preaching to this day in this age right now there are some of you in this house you just keep on posting things and you just keep on posting and posting and posting and they keep getting a a a little more aggressive towards one side or the next because you keep getting more likes i'm telling you that ain't godly [Applause] agendas are pushed left and right on social media if it takes you too long to get back to what their agenda is oh i don't know it'll just send you something else to make you want to come back and take another look what about youtube there are some of you that have youtube pulled up in the background of your phone right now i probably do myself i love to watch worship videos and all that good stuff on youtube cooking videos all those things i love to cook i love to eat y'all can tell uh so i have youtube probably pulled up in my phone right now you can learn how to do just about anything off of youtube you can learn how to how to build things you can learn how to tear down things you can learn how to change things you can learn how to fix a car off of youtube you can learn how to how to build i don't know whatever type of structure you want to build off of youtube as a matter of fact for some of you you can even get sermons off of youtube oh i don't know maybe you can do all them diy projects you know all them do it yourself projects that everybody likes to do so much interesting thing about do-it-yourself projects is a lot of time those have a lot to do with saving money so what happens is you end up doing all these things and they look like they cost a lot of money but you didn't actually have to pay anything for it maybe it's it's something that you want to look good on the outside so you just pay i don't know a dollar and 25 cents per panel and then all the sudden things start looking a little bit better on the outside but you didn't actually have to invest anything to the quality of what everybody else is seeing i'm talking about the diy projects in your life you know those things that you build up around yourself to make yourself seem glamorous without having to pay the price for anything oh yeah i'm talking about the facade of the age i'm talking about the facades that everybody puts up in their life because they want everybody to think they got it all together they want everybody to think that everything is okay so they just put up cheap stuff around their life and they ain't praying the price for anything can i preach to somebody in this house it's time for you to stop letting that stuff drain your life it's time for you to stop letting that stuff drain your spirit mama it's time for somebody to be willing to pay the price all over again and say i know i could do it cheaper i know i could do it easier but i want the real thing i want the real thing don't give me fake stuff don't give me a water down i want the real thing after so long what ends up happening to you is your phone sends you this thing and it pops up on the screen as a matter of fact some of you can you can see it right there we all know what that is anybody just check your phone where'd that come from oh i don't know you you you know what that sound was it was an amber alert you know every time an amber alert happens that means somebody got stolen you know every time an amber alert happens that means somebody just got abducted there's somebody that cannot be found and the first thing we do whenever we hear that sound is all we do is we want to get that sound off as fast as we can we want to turn that sound off because we don't want it to bother us in our busy schedule we don't want it to get our attention or grab our emotions when that sound happens oh you know what i'm talking about so on and uh uh so forth age 16 dodge truck 2008 white license plate hjx 4932 you know what i'm talking about that's somebody who has the possibility of never being found again there is an amber alert that's been sent out for some of your souls in this house tonight i don't know maybe you've got a friend who an amber alert's been sent out for quite a few times and you just keep pushing it to the side because at some point in time they're going to be found they're going to be all right but what if they don't get found what if they don't come back come on don't don't you wish if it was you that decided to backslide somebody would go to bat for you if the amber alert was sent to their phone maybe they'd look at it enough to say i don't care if this is two states away i'll every time that sin is committed there's an amber alert that's been set out for you there's an amber alert that's being sent out for you but who's going to be the one that's going to pray for that live in a sad day where the amber alert means nothing anymore it's just another thing to pester us but i've come to this house tonight stirred up in my spirit to try and pull somebody out of the grips of hell tonight and tell you you don't have to stay lost an amber alert has been sent out for your life but i didn't come to see you go to hell this preacher's trying to preach and trying to help save your soul in this house tonight and you want to tell god tonight whatever sin it is that you've been dealing with whatever thing that you've had that's been draining your energy you want to tell the to somebody here in this house you've been running on low power mode for too long tonight you've been running on low power mode for too many years you've been running on low power mode for too many on your phone and close out of the banking app get on your phone and close out of youtube get on your phone and close out those things that you shouldn't be looking at get on your phone and close out was here at this church and i knew exactly what i was supposed to preach tonight there's some young people in this house you've been letting things go for way too long and your battery has been slowly but surely dying your battery has been slowly but surely dying and every day your battery starts running at a little bit less capacity oh yeah and every month your battery starts running at a little less capacity i know exactly where i am i know exactly where i stand and i know exactly what i'm preaching but i don't know who i'm preaching to in this house only you do you've got stuff running in the background that nobody else can see that nobody else knows about you've been carrying around with you for way too long young lady you've been carrying around with you way too long young man as a matter of fact grown man grown woman i'm preaching to you tonight too you've been carrying around some of your worries for way too long you brought them worries into this house and god has come to recharge your batteries tonight too are you maybe it's you that's struggling with addiction in the house tonight and you're trying to figure out god i want to close out of these things in my life i want to close them out but i don't know how the delivering power of the holy ghost is here in this house in this house tonight you can be healed you can be set free but you've got to make up in your
