a video in a few days. It's super hot outside,
probably like 115 degrees. Like 45 or 50 degrees celsius, which is smoldering hot. But that's not gonna stop us today, no. Because I'm going to Montreal today to hang out with a good buddy of mine Bau, who's also a magician. We're going to probably
mob around the one-wheels a little bit. But, before we do We're going to go to a
private exhibit hosted by Vergil Ablo. I think that's how you pronounce his name? He's like the Menswear director
for Lewy Vaton and Off-White so he's the guy who made these shoes. These ones here and these ones here. And that's all well and good but couple week ago I got an e-mail from David Blaine "What's up brother? Call me," And he drops his number. So I'm kinda nervous cause I'm like geeze, does David hate me? I even hit up Doug, I was like "Doug, does David hate me?" He's like "No, I don't think so," He hooked me up with
some backstage tickets. He said he wants to hang out
before and after the show. That's the most exciting
thing that's happened to me in a while. So we're going to go Montreal, check out Vergil's exhibit,
mob around the one-wheel, and finally hang out with David Blaine and check out his show and
you guys are coming along. So let's go. Alright, so finally made it to the lineup. It's pretty long, this is Bau by the way - Hi - [Chris] It's a good spot I think. - Look at this. - I'm willing to wait like an hour. - And then we can go mob
around on this thing. - Can I try it like here? - Yeah, I guess we can try it out here. - Actually took they Yeezy's
off for the first time today. - [Chris] Well, I got the fender so you don't get your
shoes dirty, which is cool. - What should I know about this? - [Chris] So literally, back foot up. When you get off you
jump off with two feet. - [Bau] Two feet? OK - [Chris] You never accelerate too much cause it'll nosedive. And then once you're
good, you're good to go. - [Bau] So it's a bit of a learning curve but you get it. - Alright guys, this is
literally my first time trying this, let's hope
everything goes well. - [Chris] Alright, no deaths. (Dramatic Music) There you go. Careful not too fast in front, yup. There you go, nice and steady. Pretty good for your first try. So, this is a lineup currently. Check this out. - [Bau] Man. Oh it goes in the sun after! Oh no! Oh no! I'mna cut back in a line. Hopefully give you guys a little bit of an inside look at what's
going on at this exhibit. What's your name sir? - My name's Michael - [Chris] Michael, what do you do Michael? - I study at McGill. - [Chris] And wait in line for shoes. - Honestly I need to change these. (laughter) Yeah, absolutely. - [Chris] Awesome Michael. Sick. You Want a picture? - Absolutely, yes please. Oh my God, I'm destroying it. Thank you so much, that looks amazing. - [Chris] No worries man. So looks like we're not waiting in line because that lineup was way too long, we'd probably be there
for like three hours. - [Bau] How do you turn it on? - [Chris] We gotta train,
you gotta put it down. Without standing on it. And you gotta hit that button. You should be ready to roll. So you're going to have to do some-- it'll take you a good 10, 20
minutes to get super used to it Here we go! Nice sunny day. Feels actually great with the breeze. - [Bau] Like, if I kinda
like tilt front then back that's when I lose control. - [Chris] Yeah, like tilting
is for is for like carving. You OK? - [Guy] Hey! - I'll take it slow at
first but after that we mob. (happy music) Oh, he's got a one-wheel! Yo! Look, they got one-wheels! Dude like the first
one-wheels I've ever seen in Montreal. I'mna go catch up. Hey what's up? - Hey good. Ben? Ben? - What do you need? Dude! - [Chris] I thought I was
the only one is all Quebec that had this. you get to meet and greet and see some magic before the
show which is really cool. - But he said 13. So hold your hands like
this and get rid of 13 cards onto his hand. Get rid of 13. Count out loud, 2. 3, 4, 13, great. And now, you said the eight of hearts? Take the card. Right there, give it to her. Turn it over, show everyone. (applause) - But how can it be? (laughter) - He is a plant, she is
a plant, she is a plant. (laughter) No, no, the card jumped out of the deck, folding in the air and
landed under your watch. Turn your wrist over so everybody can see. (applause) (dramatic music) - Are you Chris? - This is pretty insane. It's pretty cool David
comes out here, chillin' with people before the show. A real pro. A real pro! Alright, so this is the,
I guess, the hallways to get to backstage. I'm not sure if I'm
allowed to film any of this but hey? It's better to ask for
forgiveness than permission. This is a water tank by the way. Phew, scary. - [Chris] Alright, so I'm here with David. This is before his show, here in Montreal. David, I got to ask you one question. What is one specific thought that goes through your mind before getting onstage. - Twa. Twa. - I've started quite a following mostly because of my levitation trick, twa. (speaking French) - I should say it as I'm
done with the icepick - Yeah (speaking french) - [Chris] You're going
to get a roaring applause for that you know? - Really? - [Chris] Yeah 100%. - So if you could film that part? - And water tank. - [Chris] OK. - Gotcha. - Bit of a backstage
rehearsal before they go on Bill, how's your french? - Zero. - [Chris] Okay, give me something. (speaking French) - [Chris] Oh, nice. You got me. You had me at hello. Alright, so Bill and I,
Bill Kalush by the way if you guys don't know is the founder CEO of
Expert Playing Card Company, massive massive playing card company. Produced a lot of David's cards obviously. - What a great show! David Blaine you're awesome man. As good as on TV. (audience roaring) - Alright, so we're lined
up on the side of the stage right now and David
Blaine's going to call us up to inspect his next illusion
which is pretty sick. You guy'sll see it in a second. But I'm pretty honored
because we're like literally the only people, I'm the only person in this whole building
whose allowed to film anything right now, so that's pretty dope. Yeah, absolutely. So here we go. - Yup, ready to see David
Blaine live drowning. - Sh, don't say that. They don't know. - Oh, OK. - One piece of advice
for aspiring magicians: you know there's a room
filled with people here but there's probably a large
portion of them are like - [David] Longterm magicians - Yeah. What would you say to them? - [David] Pursuit, fail, fail,
fail, fail, keep pursuing, fail, fail, fail, fail,
fail, keep pursuing, fail, fail, fail, fail,
fail, make failure, your friends, your best

and Bill Kalush backstage, seeing you know, the amount
of dedication this guy puts into his craft is insane. Way better than anything I've
