DATE DAY!!!

[Music] this week has been pretty difficult for walking it's been challenging we've had all kinds of different weather patterns from wind extreme wind it's pretty windy and cold today we're getting it done to dust storms and then rain and direct ground was completely soaked so i couldn't even go walking and then now snow well looks like it's snowing [Music] it's going to take a while for it to melt so i have been struggling getting my steps in and it's mostly just around the house because i haven't been anywhere and it's been extremely difficult and frustrating we're gonna go pick up material and we're gonna drive through the snow and when we get up to the mountain it's about three times as deep so husband is right now he's loading up the gas tanks and different things because we need to get on the other side to get to the gas station so i'll see you on the other side yeah boy and it's still snowing you can see behind us we slid off the road and we're going now we're back on the move so we're going to try again trying to get up this hill no oh there goes the people plow just flew on by that's so scary bad idea to go around the mountain that's what uh how many hours go across the state line into arizona go all the way around the mountain range and come back up and that's an extra hour and a half but luckily there's no plows so we if we waited a few more hours i think we would have made it but again you're racing the light when you're going to go get your materials tough tough tough hi um [Music] did you get what you needed [Applause] [Music] [Music] did you just play with you [Music] do do [Music] so [Music] so [Music] we good oh open the gate for us thank you thank you i think this is recording me because so now it's date time yeah gonna get all romantic with me we finished what we got what we came for right we're finished only if you're paying no only you're paying i don't pay and bring my purse is important though right very important how come i get to eat steak [Music] [Applause] no date day not food day for a marriage do you think it's important yeah it's a long time with us no kids yelling no kids telling us what they want i want where are we at when we're gonna be there you and me time [Music] really bad baby man don't talk during this song [Music] do [Music] now i don't know if you can hear me but we're here with all the people here and the music going but i wanted to talk about new mexico beef i'm a big supporter of new mexico beets and when i can i will eat and according to my blood type my body loves beefs and i'm a big supporter and i'm also a supporter of broccoli [Music] [Music] in the winter date day is important to us it's a time for me and husband to reconnect share communicate laugh remember and find all the little things that make us smile we often reflect about our younger days when we first met when i was a very young girl and he was a young boy and we were in school together and we found the time to smile and watch the stars and take walks we talk about those times often and those are the times that we reflect on how far we've come although we're away from our children on date day they wait for us patiently and are supportive of our time together inadvertently we end up talking about them and finding ways to help them through their lives and also the problems that arise in family they keep the house warm and watch for our car lights and come out to greet us every single time as the sun is going down and we rejoin the family together and we always try to find time for each other and incorporate how we are feeling that day [Music] here we are homeschooling how to dance slowly and have a partner in the steps that their dad's showing them dancing that he learned when he was in college and the girls laugh and smile but their dad is very patient with them and i love watching how he moves and helps his daughters along it's a very satisfying sight to see how far he's come we both have come very far in our marriage in our lives in our future to come all the plans that we put forth and are executing [Music] a dance together is what our life is all about and we show our children that when you are married it's about dancing it's being respectful and moving with one another being mindful and enjoying yourself and not forgetting to smile and to show absolute respect he is my best friend and i'm so thankful to heavenly father to help me help him fight his demons and at times i had to fight him to save him and now in turn he's saving me [Music] [Music] you
