Darkest Dungeon Season 12 Week 73 (Wolves at the Door)

I mean it'd be so easy just to like not fight him at all I mean it just he just does a little bit of town damage who cares I don't [ __ ] care he's a boss I have to kill him I don't have a guard it's gonna be so hard about the men arms all bosses are gonna have to do it yeah yeah what happens you ignore fee well if he kills two buildings or something there are two upgrades off of a building all right guys any a quick break I need to get some water up a back into second see you guys momentarily [Music] our modest fellowship expands praise this up all right so doing V wolf pain in my ass it's about to happen this guy envy wolf there is barrel bombs is out and start every round with bombs away placing a bomb on a on a rank like profit in the round he is times up with detonates the bomb dealing heavy damage to the hero on the same rank both these girls are automatic and don't use up his turns destroying the barrel at any point prior to times up automatically cancel active bombs making the removal of barrel prior to every turn similar to the match mend however the barrel bombs has a persistent or post effect meaning it will automatically canter technique not only for damage the wolf can subsequently some of the barrel using the ability to get them if it's been destroyed he will use his ability every turn if there's no active barrel bombs get them also summon will also summon a breaking cutthroat class enemies and has a chance of stunning one hero so it was stunned summon an extra enemy and reset the bombs that sounds like a [ __ ] terrible time souther skills our tower shield a skill that guards one of his allies and has a high chance of something another brigand Raider and war cry which causes stress damage to one or two heroes no way to camp bleed resist is good feels like marks might be good here Ayoo a frontline AoE doesn't sound terrible either let's take a look at his stuff so he is 100% stun resistant 75% blade resistant 75% bleed resistance 60% debuff resistant 300% move resistant speed for protection zero dodge 25 200 health two actions per round I don't think killing the bomb strategy is efficient if he just reads it every single [ __ ] turn he's got two actions around anyways it feels like it's not that great for me and I'm taking damage off of it - I don't know how much damage it does I guess we could click on it and see what's the damage range on it as 25/8 has 30 HP - which means it's gonna take two attacks it's gonna take me two actions to kill it tell me how much damage it does six to eight it's not a lot but if I'm attacking that twice it's an extra 12 to 15 12 is 16 damage I don't think so too bad no men at arms well it's not too bad it's yes randomly we find ourselves with no men at arms how did that occur we wonder I don't know that abominations are actually gonna be any good here because they're probably gonna have stressed out but time they get there are gonna be at 40 50 stress minimum yeah flatulent would be very solid here it was like a manslayer flageolet we do you really saw it here it's okay to bring water lepers to debuff I might just bring lepers to hit him honestly buffers have pretty good move resist if I remember correctly an immunity mask makes them have a very solid resistance to stun as well or this done and a little bit resistance to bleed so we'll be coming in here basically immune to stun and basically immune to push back oh yeah you think I should bring up men-at-arms huh no one telling him up to command don't tell him about the command just let him figure it out on his own he clearly needs some time it's at an AoE attack the view wolf thing let's take a look at his moves time's up 23 to 45 rank damage what the [ __ ] am I gonna do about that no he doesn't use AoE attacks okay it's off the barrels aqua I've already thought about D buffing it doesn't work actually I don't know if it's cow get one of the other the abilities is is listed under his abilities but I'm pretty sure it's a pretty sure it does the barrel does a damage so part of me wants to bring a Crusader here not a crusader excuse me a highwayman here for the riposte damage but it's not a OE damage the guys doing and I need a secondary healer I think this has to be our bolused much as I don't actually want to run that annoyingly aqua has a [ __ ] ton of stress it's really too bad it's gonna be torque sir torture his stress resist bill and doing though that's not bad so it's this plus in occultists okay we have a manslayer occultist I was keeping I've been doing this deliberately leaving the clutter one waiting for V wolf because I'm pretty sure I'm gonna want clutter here so photomania clutter for this seems pretty solid too alright and resilience resilience not bad either but I don't have any stress here so it makes no difference okay ah Viktor it only protects 50% of my people if I do that though and I lose all my damage I feel like this is a race fight that I'm gonna lose very very I don't know go slowly I'm gonna lose relatively quickly so I feel like I need to DPS the the boss as much as possible if it was just and if because antiquarian has to be targeted for that to be useful that only means 50% of my party to be protected from the bomb so I don't think so well I have no stunner with this do i that is a bit of a problem I don't need a stunner versus the boss but I could really use the stunner up until the boss I guess instead of leper I could run abomination for the stuns until we got there but I really like the flagellants heel here hard noggin is actually useful here too I don't think I can run this without a stun so I don't trust the bunny hunter no self-heal not particularly tanky and doesn't have good bleed or movers I think it's good move resist but I think it is bad believe there's this train so what are we at right now this is 90 125 because remember the Schenker's knock you back when they uppercut you or ever it's gotta have a chance to knock you back anyways cluttered this is [ __ ] a cultist is so bad here low stun resistant low move resistance both bad you yeah I mean I like the extra human part of the bounty hunter and also that has synergy with the marks and I don't have to transform for damage can i really afford a bounty hunter near them it's my other buddy honey ya can't bring this guy so it would have to be if I brought about a hundred have to be sliders now I can't bring play doctor here doesn't do enough fast enough I do like the fact that the body hunter could stun any at the positions his speed nine as opposed to and they're both speed nine hard noggins real good here what the bleed resist one hundred ninety ninety bleeders this one fifteen stun hundred movement when is this hundred stun vs. 115 stun ninety bleed versus ninety bleed under moved versus 100 moves there's no differences and resist except I have claw I have a heart noggin on Kate we trade that up with quick reflexes makes it the same speed so it's precise striker versus precise striker in the fact it's a bounty hunter versus abomination I don't really care about precise striker description Chris pretty much meaningless thirty five percent damage versus human is nice and nine percent damage versus marked is nice we could get one round of marking which we probably could we could get three rounds of damage on the boss that might be worth it just the thing is this in an emergency the abomination heals himself it has a chance to [ __ ] just live in the abominate and the this guy can never do that what's max HP 45 verses 46 so that's pretty much identical that's a tough call between those two it's a really tough call no I need the backup here on the flatulent fly Dylan can do a lot of stuff if the fly joint takes the damage and in position 1 the fly joint will take a lot of damage already because you'll be getting shanked non-stop by the Shanker's and hopefully bomb from time to time I don't know which of these we want to bring I don't have a leper anymore so it's not like I have double AoE damage for the frontline and I think no rage is front three thing is collect bounties only front two that's the downside of collect bounty and if I'm using finish him finish him does no extra damage to mark targets and no extra damage to humans so question is how much of the time does he will spend in rank 3 versus rank 1 & 2 and how many [ __ ] Raiders do I have to kill the V wolf can do all his abilities from the front three position so he doesn't care at all oh by the way his his ability always summons one Raider and sometimes as a Chen has a 33% chance of summon two Raiders it probably summons them in front of him but I don't know that so he's probably in rank three yeah if he's in rank three there's no benefit to bring in the bounty hunter I won't get to do any extra damage to it I won't get to use all I'd be doing is casting mark and I trade off a lot of survivability I think I think the Bounty Hunter's butter or the abominations better no I don't think leper is gonna help here either because the leper is only gonna hit position one to go for rakes could stack up a [ __ ] ton of rakes the big problem with that the the abomination blue is the abominations gonna be forced out of so when when you get dirt you checked your your abomination I don't I think it's even if you succeed on the virtue check your abomination gets forced out of I wish actually if I knew that gets forced out of abomination form and forced back into human form I wonder if it includes the virtue or not I wonder to say that somewhere I don't even know if the wiki oh and the abomination says anything about being forced out of the form let's see additionally he'll return to human mode if he suffers an affliction wall and beasts form does that mean if he doesn't suffer an affliction but suffers a virtue he could stay that is this possibly a time to roll the dice and double virtue stack the abomination to power past 50 stress so what does this give us 25 this would give us a 75% chance to virtue you can't burst you cheese without stress healing we're on the right side of the circle you end up in the final corridor fight you can just leave one level of five big guys dressed yo to full really explain more about this aqua also I'm gonna kill my webcam as I eat you tell me more aqua know the virtue camp cap apparently has been changed but we could actually purchase use on the abomination who do we stress you with I can't bring a jester the Crusader has to be in position one two and can't hit position three and there's no how master those are the only stress killers in the game no I don't think I can I don't think I can do the virtue thing I don't think it will work or rather 75% a time it works perfectly 25% of time I lose the mission I mean there's no way I can't bring bigger heels here so this is pretty [ __ ] I mean we're gonna come out of this at minus 5% stress and plus plus 30% healing which isn't terrible but no accuracy no damage mods there no survivability I really want stun resistant this guy can I afford to just not have another item I mean look at this item right now if I brought Wilbur's trophy there's no way that's not coming that changes the occultist from a huge [ __ ] liability to someone who might actually just be able to absorb those stuns and not get my healer stunned out should be kind of nice the flag Dylan doesn't need to bring an item either because he has accuracy versus human do I even need can I bring proper bleed resists I think this is probably better makes those bleeds rapturous is bad I don't want to be rapturous for this but killers only he'll kill his own [ __ ] teammates with rapture has put bleeds on them and [ __ ] or maybe that's crimson curse I do forget can't bring double flagellants they don't they don't go in the same party together I need some percentage on the this guy and that actually works out pretty well stun resist is gonna be good versus the boss this is my stunner I probably need accuracy here she bet I don't have a human hater here that probably means a focus ring she knows stress resist items in here but I suppose she's the only one who can stress Hill anyways but it's also the stunner stunner rarely gets a chance to stress feelin fights much doges be wolf half 25 sorry I'm gonna want accuracy here all right so that's no plus stress items that's decent that's decent this is decent and the second item will bring here is gonna be I mean that's what I'm gonna run but maybe I can just not run juniors head until I get to the boss I could either run this like this no 115 versus 25 is an idea it's good point what about the stuff leading up to it though well thing isn't a little bit hesitant to add a little bit hesitant to add extra damage madmen and wolves you know there is crit on it too you play one crit but well with that logic do I want it on the on the flat joint as well it's different bandana anyway sake I don't have the árboles bandana blues talking about this other band denim this small one doesn't have positional requirements on it but I think I prefer 12 accuracy to 8 I mean none of this really answers one of our questions one of our big questions though is what are we gonna do when we get to the Bandit can we bring both virtue things and just swap it out at the end let's take a look at the the some percentage on B wolf who might not need this at the last fight 140 stun that's really high actually you can say in the occultist starts with [ __ ] 80 or something dumb meanwhile Maughan down I'm [ __ ] lunch is amazing and I want a 50/50 though when I can make it a 75 25 I mean I could fit it here right so I give up accuracy we have a manslayer we give up accuracy till we get to the final boss but I mean I think this guy's really accurate with manse ladies 125 accuracy I don't need accuracy at 125 for anything really until we get there not even when we get there so I have an item slot available on the flatulent I was thinking about bringing stun resist but what if I didn't bring sin resist what if I put our hero's ring in there use that until we got to the final boss and then swapped it out here for double Burt's your chance where do we fit the other virtue chance thing maybe we drop I don't want to drop focus ring there so I could drop focus ring on the árboles until we get to the final best and then what I do is I swap out the focus ring on the AR bolused barbless already hits the boss 100% of the time right so what if I ran these items yeah dogs and madmen suck I get it going up to until there but I think of the the stunner being a hundred inaccurate is better I mean they're both this is 125 and this is I think we bring this I think I think this is what we bring this gives us 75% chance if we get afflicted on the final boss to keep our abomination form so we can keep just wrecking everything and the abomination really needs to be a big damage dealer here 75% chance it's not a guarantee but it's hell of a lot better than the [ __ ] 25% you want to get your virtue before getting to the final boss you have a chance to reduce your stress to zero if you get afflicted instead well we can we could try to do that too I suppose but it's much easier the problem with doing something like that is that sometimes hard to coordinate when that is gonna happen all right let's try this this is about as good as I can get I think this is I don't need a second item on the flagon it's one of the reasons actually loved the flies went by the ways you often don't need a second item on them but I don't need any second item desperately there it's kind of crazy that I'm not bringing I'm wondering one focus ring I think this is solid I don't know how we're gonna deal with I mean it's not solid like we're we're safe from bombs solid but it's still pretty pretty uh you saw like what we're gonna do all right let's provision this is the order I want let's make sure that oh let's go what's let's just sanity check this a minute right I know it's probably redundant but [ __ ] that let's let's be sane on the boss am I gonna want this yes because this can save a life as someone who's about to die to a bleed I'm gonna want that I want this I'm gonna want that yes all right all the scales level it all the skills level at all the skills leveled am I gonna want something here bullet seems like it could be useful blind-fire probably not am i gonna want snipers mark on the boss it seems really unlikely to me but it's a possibility like I want rallying flare on the boss like clearing a stun off of the occult this could actually make the difference between losing or winning the mission like oh this is gonna have I could make the occultists ton immune by the way since currently the the stun percentage is 140 and if I brought a stun amulet which I'm actually gonna be swapping off of the abomination I could make the occultist entirely stun immune is that better than having an extra heal I don't know is it better than having a bigger heel I mean if we're really just playing death door tag where it's you know hit death door he'll off best door hit desk door he'll off desk door then it makes no difference the amount of healing is coming in along if it's not a zero but it does make a difference if there's some other source of damage Oh mark isn't that great versus B well that's a good point because V wolf is gonna have two actions around instead of one I have one guy could take advantage of it but I mean the occultists on the first round can mark we get at least one round of it right you don't like this plan is it's it's the plan we got as this game Batman yeah it does meet the darkest dungeon I'm also very hesitant to run this at all up to here yes I have photo mania but there's so much stress in this dungeon really nice to have a stress resist item on this guy what if I didn't bring juniors head do I need keys in this have forgotten I get that V wolf map too where's the map but the [ __ ] is the map come on I know there's a map here why is it not on the wolf stable the wolf arms called speaking in curse vente boss have been where's the map don't need keys all right let's go so we did manage to fit in the virtue stuff good all right okay aqua says go right huh yeah but there's a difference in what fights I get blue depending on if I go left or right and I've seen the map they're just duska end in tears it might but it's it's not the only plan it's just that the abomination would really like to not be confidence surges as the enemy crumbles naima themand slur [ __ ] is that nine annihilated rush disadvantage give them no quarter I don't want to fight a madman ting big three that's a victory nonetheless but I don't know what the difference between left and right anyone have a map for me that would be really really really helpful this is much nastier already of course and no accuracy versus the wolves for so much already good it's fine it's fine [Music] can't ask questions about my equipping it when I just did like 20 minutes of talking to my equipping your interests ago watch the video and wait until the final missions where I show you we left them at one hilarious continually onslaught destroy them okay yeah I couldn't find the map either and I've otherwise it's 15% stressful yeah I think we can burn it off though rabies again this is another - accuracy bod we did not account to the fact we're gonna be getting all of our characters rabbit by this that's kind of shitty it's already acted [ __ ] wolves man sucks so much 67 to hit even with the minus 20 dodge that's so bad we're taking another shot with the herbalist on that okay I guess the Flies like it do it - what is the debuff report on us dodge defense there's 90 he's dead their formation is broken maintain the offensive oh and it's one shot the crit send the dog maybe we have good disease resistance go I mean this guy's got our eyes only twenty time I know it's not good but it was good if that please that's perfect okay great you might even go first the arbor listen I'm gonna heal off which is really cool that's perfect as well compassion is a rarity the dogs are gonna lose their danger all my characters are already rabid like the next dogs don't let her I don't know where this being a lot harder for some reason classes have I relied on this challenge why Doolin tsubame nations are ballista cultists have all been really really solid all right so we don't need the virtual chance there we do need it here and there all right who wants the accuracy anyone care about the accuracy I can run it here I suppose you - dodge so I don't mind the stun emulate there and I don't mind stunning about here so we have some decisions here the decision is basically where do we do we value do we value over that it's a hundred and forty percent stun chance so do we value our occultist being immune to stuns more or less than BAM to heal the head to the flatulent why because I mean this is not this is not useless this is valuable still I mean this this is now 120 so it brings it I mean she's right now she's a base 40% this halfs the chance that she gets stunned by bringing this here we go from 40 percent to 20 percent and we need damage just as much as we need healing we're almost as much probably what stuns navee we'll fight be Woolfolk stones kind of like this excuse me still gives me heels all right I think we're doing this with the right skills on am I forgetting I think all right let's run rallying Flair just in case gives us a little bit of [ __ ] potential it's run mark everything's good there okay my slides don't have forty protection because 140 it's not real good pretty sure that bomb does damage you think you have to weaken that it's not worth it okay scary double-booked it scary I don't know do we shoot this guy or do we start work on right so we heal here then it's not gonna be a bomb in the back rank no bleed we have he has he just got the debuff we had a holy water taken there don't kill this guy or cry does no damage that's funny didn't it killin cuz we're an [ __ ] fly joint going last alright nice bomb goes away we're still alive [Music] the ground quakes on a stress vo here okay I get okay don't creep me to a killing mine gives me more health out of it that hadn't been a crate was perfect slowly gently this is how a life is taken not the game [ __ ] game well Lydell an MVP there was a lot of MV being in that that fight in my pan wealth beyond measure awarded to the brave and the foolhardy alike all right I was really scared of that mission and that was a terrifying fight when he one shot the occultists on round one at the start of the round and then the occult is like the the whole next round with two Shanker's and v wolf attacked and I didn't remember if he will say AoE stress thing did damage or not so if he had hit me with the AoE stress thing it wouldn't have death's door checked because it doesn't do any damage but either the Schenker's could have gone after the occultist and that would have been a death door check so well I haven't reached out I didn't see there I'm so high off my victory right there all right you're a little loved one to me so the double rabies going in was pretty annoying and we did get penalized that we had two misses on targets on characters that wouldn't have missed except for rabies and that kind of sucks we did over and prioritize stun resist apparently because we didn't kill the Raiders we're expecting to kill the Raiders one day but we sure as [ __ ] did not they didn't die from the aleene's at all so like half the items we brought didn't have any impact on the fight both of the virtue trinkets had no impact on the fight because we came out of that with much less stress than I ever remember getting to of this character before just kind of ridiculous and then the stun resist items really didn't do a lot either because we didn't get stunned Rea often think we even resisted this thumb but I really remember it's kind of funny how can you die off that such terrible Hosni when it double gripped me on his way out like an [ __ ] I gotta get my skills back on that all the wrongs on let's fix this ah remind yourself their overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer just threw out there was it mandatory or just run that out there really we do any damage step back right put it in fear consumes the mind [Music] love victory perhaps the turning point quitters never win back Runkles rule oh seven two stops three sub first tests not an ancestor I don't what is this [ __ ] how at home this is just some crappy thing and the trolls are real how do I get a UI to work in the aux cast game I deleted a bunch of folders that interfere with each other just followed the thread in the forum alright let's go see if we can get is there one more treasure on the other side that probably is right sing Qin [ __ ] exactly in radiance may we find victory okay she does a bucket on the way I picked up a shovel in that last room that's why I'm going for it for more fights to get to there that's it really yeah for more fights how do you form on the left right well the problem is I bet you when he's rapturous he refuses all healing for all the [ __ ] time be an [ __ ] destroyed this expedition at least promises success teve I'm worried about a crit here it's a crit here we'll send them into rapturous potentially come on God's Kiba [Music] yeah this is always a character ringing ears good vision the end approaches yet okay yeah I might kind of leave I don't need the item the matter what the item is losing characters is worse the warts of the mind have fallen injury and despondence is at the stage for heroism or cowardice [Music] I much preferred the 40-point criticals we were getting in the he will play hmm dated [Music] we touched it huh all right we don't counter Dodge I don't the way I accelerate it is via the mod not be as yeah so clearly and not via the cheat engine so it doesn't really walking trick of the light can we continue this I don't think so I think we just go so it's pretty good all right diseases for everybody quick try was really solid so ma by same guy increased movement speed I should just download them yeah and you will know the tragic extent of my failings ok well that was exciting that's a scary fight without a man in arms I gotta say
