in today's sneaker market of limited releases and number of resellers at an all-time high purchasing hype items online for the original retail price is incredibly difficult and seemingly impossible since many of these items become sold out almost instantly one of the biggest contributors for this is because of people who use assistance of computer software that automates the checkout process also known as bots bots you say complete order in some cases you don't even need to be I your computer for the bot to purchase the item for you yes it is incredibly powerful and useful for people that seek to purchase limited items and it can be very lucrative if you use them correctly at the same time there are a lot of misconceptions and dangers when it comes to botting if people don't really talk about to the average person that isn't knowledgeable in this topic it is very common for them to have the idea that modding is easy unfair for that it doesn't take any skill how hard can it be all you have to do is buy a bot press a few buttons and take the entire stock of every online retailer that is very far from reality and not at all the case so today I will talk about the reality and the untold truth about sneaker bottom my name is Nova and if you're new to my channel I demonstrate live cops tutorials and unboxings for limited sneakers and street wear I also show you how I sell and make money from those pieces if you want to take a peek into my life as a barter and reseller check out my channel and subscribe if you enjoy my content so you want to make some money on the side or you're just sick of taking l after L after L along with that sold out message you decide that botting is the right course of action for you if you can't beat them then join them right where do you begin generally the retail price of most all in one sneaker bots are between 250 to 400 dollars you might do some research on the best bot for your needs along with something that makes sense for your budget and suppose you find the perfect one for you you head over to their website and the sense of excitement rushes over you as your days of taking elves would be something of the past and then sold out what do you mean sold out don't you want my money you do some digging up and all of your options say no planned restocks I'll tell you the good news they don't have any planned but they do still restock the bad news is that buying these bots are sometimes even harder than buying the shoes that you're after depending on the bot and how many copies they release this is the safest way to go about it but you'd have to wait indefinitely for them to restock and chances of snagging a copy for retail is low the most realistic option is to buy the bot that you want from a secondary market more often than not you need to buy it from someone either from Twitter discord or even reddit where it's very difficult to gauge a sellers authenticity referrals and legit checks can easily be fabricated by these scam artists even with the use of middlemen for your transactions scammers may still find ways to take back their license even after you've downloaded and tested to see that the bot is working another thing that you have to make sure that you don't do is buy a cracked bot if you try and search up sneaker BOTS on eBay or some other places more often than not you're going to see prices that are too good to be true project destroyer for $45 5 decent Lots for 22 $25 these are cracked BOTS if you buy and use these cracked versions you are risking your billing profiles and personal information getting stolen furthermore you won't receive automatic updates which is absolutely necessary for your BOTS work as intended another option that you have is buying BOTS that are always in stock the vast majority of these either don't work or simply don't work fast enough to get you limited items which is the whole purpose of owning a bot so buying them would be like throwing money away recently there has been an emergence of a few AI o bots that are always in stock that do a decent enough job of buying items however this is just speculation but their user base - success ratio in comparison to the limited BOTS seem a bit disproportional you can definitely try your chances on these but personally I believe it might take you a while to make your money back considering the success rate okay suppose you've overcome the challenge of buying your very first pot and you've spent $400 on it you need to learn how to use it first you need to learn the basics such as what are the different proxy types what are tasks what's a CAPTCHA how do you set up a server next you need to learn how to use the bots most BOTS have very detailed user manuals which can really help you learn and understand it the user manuals are often lengthy for reference the kick station manual is over 40 pages and Eve's manual is 41 pages you need to learn and understand these manuals like the back of your hand additionally most BOTS would have some release guides that can further assist with the proper way of setting up even then the only real way of learning is through trial and error in summary the learning process can be very tedious grueling and in many cases expensive to operate your BOTS you need what I call bot peripherals just like a computer needs peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard your BOTS also needs peripherals so you can effectively use it you need proxies a server and gmail accounts a paid cook groups would also be a plus since they can provide you with a site list so that you can go for every possible website that your bot supports depending on your providers this can cost you anywhere between 70 to 200 dollars a month after seemingly an eternity of setting up leveling up your knowledge doing tasks you are ready for your first release know that there are thousands of people doing the exact same thing that you are doing except may know and understand the ins and outs of how this work have gone through hundreds of releases and possibly even a few hundred of them taking bahding to a whole nother level spending thousands of dollars on their setups running multiple BOTS on multiple servers you are competing with all of these people for most likely less than a hundred pairs per website that released the shoes bahding is not easy even experienced boaters and veterans who have seemingly perfect setups end up striking out on hyper leases there is a very limited number of stock and inevitably not everyone will take double use it is very likely that you end up spending hundreds of dollars and a significant amount of time learning just so you can be handed another L you can definitely be lucky and end up getting the item that you want but it's not something that you should expect but what you do gain after each loss is knowledge you need to understand where you went wrong and do more research on what works and try again next time with your newfound knowledge are you willing to spend countless hours and hundreds of dollars knowing that there's a high chance you're still not going to get the limited sneakers or street wear that you're after this is the question that you need to ask yourself before determining whether or not bahding is the right decision for you this video is not designed to discourage future voters this is for educational purposes so that if this is something you want to do you know what to expect soon I will be publishing a video going over in detail how to properly purchase your first bought which bought you should buy and the steps you should take to minimize your chances of getting scammed if you're new to my channel and you want to see bots and action I recommend you to take a peek at my web series called sneakers to riches where I document my reselling operations if you learned something new or enjoy this video subscribe to my youtube channel every little piece of support is what keeps me motivated to making videos like this again my name is Nova and have a wonderful rest of your day [Music]
