Dylan is so beautiful in this piece. That said, itβs interesting, endearing, yet sad. It left me unsure of what Iβm supposed to feel in regards to the meaning the writer intended.
Great film. And Ron Rifkin is gorgeous.
WHAT.. seeing Dylan sprouse with long hair and a dress.. feels like a weird fever dream
Companionship: Mr Smith is reflecting on a life of choice due to the times of his upbringing. The Cary Grant reference give us the depth of that choice. His wife is now gone, yet he misses her greatly. No children, because she said he was "enough". Paul has known him for awhile, I believe. Providing that needed comfort that Mr Smith's missing and helping him to remember. I believe Paul has also made choices that keep him distant from a connection. He can however, help someone else be happy. Love can bring many changes, openness to that love forces choices to be made and leaves us vulnerable. Some choose love as they believe it is supposed based on what we've experienced and what we've been taught about love. Others choose not to love because it places us at risk, to heartache or disappointment that the fairy tale isn't real.
I actually had no idea who this guy was until that linked video mentions the TV show, and I only know the TV show from it playing on AFN inside the base gym when I was overseas. π
Wow...this was actually kinda sad. Great short film, but it kinda hit home and made me sad.
I have felt the last 30s of this video many times, glad Dylan is involved with these kinds of projects.
Thanks for posting.
I thought it was beautiful look inside the complexity of love and the different ways we find it.
Hey Iβve seen that pop up on YouTube before, Should I watch it?
