Protect the win as Da Pamela Price and her supporters get ready to head back on the campaign trail, they're praising the Board of Supervisors for not approving a separate recall. Special election. This is a victory for the people of Alameda County. This is a win for democracy fighting back against critics who say she's soft on crime, price claims her office has actually prosecuted people at a higher rate than her predecessor. The district attorney is also blasting recall organizers, claiming their efforts are fueled by misinformation and being bankrolled by big money opponents. They are essentially making things up without any kind of foundation or any understanding actually, of how prosecution works. She has to face this recall election. One thing I have to say stop using our tax dollars and using your office hours and campaigning. Carl Chan, one of the recall organizers, is calling the election date a significant milestone in his group's efforts to advocate for public safety and accountability. So you got elected. Absolutely. We agree. Okay. But when you're not doing a good job, you know, performing as a Da, as a capacity, okay? And also, you know, she is the reason the driving force to having all these additional serious crimes. In an ex post last week, Congressman Eric Swalwell is also weighing in referring to a robbery of a postal worker. Swalwell claims soft on crime Alameda County prosecutors have given the bad guys a green light to hurt people. Price rejects those comments, pointing out crimes against postal workers started long before she was in office, and prosecuting them falls under federal jurisdiction. Why is he attacking the Alameda County District Attorney's office and holding us to a different standard than he did my predecessor? As both campaigns prepare for the November election and urge voters to turn out, November is going to be the people speaking the truth about who they want to be, the Da price says. The fight to keep her job will not take time away from doing her job. We won this election. We should not have to run another election, but my team is doing it. I have
