my hand hand I'm out of [Music] air of breaks [Music] me [Music] the hello gamers in today's video I'm going to share with you the dlss club graphical optimization guide for cyberpunk 2.1 our guide is mostly directed for the people with mid-range RTX Nvidia gpus but it definitely can have some input for those of you with more powerful machines together we will go through normal rization dlss clamp settings and rate racing ones in both cases using Nvidia dld Sr which is going to allow us playing on higher resolution than our displays I will also mention few mods which will only complement certain tweaks but are absolutely optional and generally speaking this guide doesn't require any mods to start setting up our game it's important to update our dlss files for the newest available version which for the time of making this video is 3.5.1 and it's the same for dlss and ra construction file newer versions of dlss usually improves performance and image stabilization for a ray construction it additionally reduces ghosting since dlss version 3.1 Nvidia introduce presets of upscaling process normally these are available only for developers that's why we are going to use a tiny tool called dlss tweak which going to allow us to change presets if you don't know how to update dlss enable ddsr or how to install dlss tweaks please check the links in the description where you can find my short guide with explanations for that this knowledge will be useful for you and works in the same way also in the different DSS games that's the reason why it was separated from this video now when you are ready we can start with rasterization settings which do not use any R tracing and are focus on sustaining minimum 60 FPS on high resolutions keep in mind that postprocessing effects like motion blue F grain and Depo feed are optional I personally don't like them and they are always Des dis aable it's a mix of medium and high details and all that with a high resolution of 162p which is 2.25 DL DSR multiplier for 1080p monitors if you have bigger display like 1440p use 1.78 multiplier instead later in the video I'm showing how to remove vignette effect which doesn't even have option in the game settings last stz settings were the ones I was using myself also intro was made entirely with the setup FTX 3060 here you can see our combination compared side by side versus native full HD resolution and built-in graphical presets high and Ultra as you can see optimize rization settings with higher resolution andv Technologies simply looks better now purely for science you can see Ultra preset versus dlss Club setting on the same resolution and how demanding it is compared to optimize settings from our guide and visual difference is barely noticeable if any in most of the scenes many graphical settings on mediware are not even a result of visual compromises because for example screen space Reflections on medium looks literally the same as high I am aware that there must be some differences somewhere but this settings looks very very close and SSR on medium serves its purpose of reflecting cyber Punk Vibe more to say Ultra Ando SSR doesn't even make sense because their impact on performance is dangerously close to the LSS collab rate racing settings but it's not even close to look same as good there will be more about R Trace Reflections in the r tracing part of this video moving forward here you can see a comparison of all dlss presets personally I use preset F which for me looks noticeably better I prefer a softer edges because the ldsr down scaning sharpens image anyway cyber Punk is one of the Fier titles which support the newest preset G which you can observe now being compared to f I'm staying with f it's time to consider together optional mods because minor downside I found of using dlss upscaling is how it is handling rain as you can see rain effect is causing shimmering on the edges of the objects visibility of this issue is depending on the light intensity to work around this we will use a Mode called improved Rin effect to be exact an old version of this mod because new version is kind of performance is heavy link to the mod you can find in the description just unpack it to the folder with your game and restart it to help you decide I made a short presentation of the new rain you no I'm not I personally don't like the vignette effect and cyber Punk do not allow us to disable it that's why I additionally recommend mod called fxp gum to be exact vignette and inventory effect disabling sub files secondary file removes annoying artifacts after entering inventory unpack both in the main folder of the game the last option worth highlighting to achieve assumed performance for our settings is adjusting crowd density to reflect our CPU power I'm using ryzen 5 5,600 X and play high on the rization setting and on medium with the rate racing version it's because how rate racing Reflections are heavy for CPU 2 since patch 2.0 cyber really started to be a very CPU demanding game if you have older ryen or lower than 10th gen Intel CPU consider lowering crowd density to achieve Headroom for 60 FPS and avoid stuttering and hiccups difference between crowd medium and high settings doesn't really break immersion and reception of the game world so don't think twice if you hit CPU bottleneck and lower it now it's a time for a r tracing version of dlss clap settings as this video is mainly for people with mid-range Nvidia gpus we cannot count on full rate tracing with bearable frame rate especially for such a high Target resolution but we can take the best of two words by turning on non-path tracing Reflections as Reflections are the most noticeable racing effects and adapts a lot to the game visuals in PCH 2.1 CD Pro finally allow us to use R reconstruction with normal rate racing so we won't have to force it anymore through the editing cyberp Punk setting files because yes it was working just like it worked in normal rate racing in for example Alan Wake in cyberp Punk it was just artificially blocked to set up racing version we are going to use rization settings as a base start from lowering dlss from quality to Performance as that sounds bad don't worry because R Construction makes image look comparable to Quality despite of lower internal resolution now turn on Ray constrction and then R traced reflection if you wonder why it's worth to even use R reconstruction normal R tracing the noiser is making Reflections blocky especially on the edges of objects Ray reconstruction fixes it and Reflections themselves looks better much better if your card is more powerful and you want to try Sun shadows and bual shadows of course go for it I would rather recommend to pick higher quality mode of D LSS for higher image stability or me normal Shadows looks even better than sun and local shadows and try to avoid rrac lighting because it still causes awful artifacts and ghosting despite 2.1 patch honestly thank you for surviving entire video If this guide was helpful please consider leaving a subscription and feedback in close future and planning more similar videos for various dlss games you can also check my channel for another gu her
