Cute Kids Room | The Sims 4 - Speed Build (NO CC)

when you're down in the stare at your window [Music] and welcome back to a new video on my channel my name is Sarah and today I'm back with another Sims 4 speed bold and today is going to be a little bit of a shorter video or of a smaller kind of build so I decided to make a room ball today and since um the new expansion pack The Sims 4 growing together um will be out in I think less than two weeks from now um I thought it would be a cute idea to build like a kid's room I think it's very enjoyable I think it's a lot of fun to decorate kids rooms I don't know I really like to not go too crazy with the colors and make it more like some soft and neutral colors and maybe add some little little colourpop in there um like I did with this build with the blue wall on one side and um I also started off with this platform that I'm going to make a little bit lower later on in the video because I thought it would be a little bit better to just have like this little platform um where are the sleeping area is going to be and you will also see me like building like a little roof thingy um over the bed and this is actually inspired by Sims Topia um I've seen this tutorial I think it's super old I think I've seen it several months ago and I um remembered it and I thought it would be a cute idea to add this little wall decoration roof um that you usually use on the outside but I think it looks really cute on the inside as well and I decided that I wanted to do that for my build as well and I think it looks really fun so I decided to do that here um I also use those um framing pieces from the get together expansion pack I think they fit there pretty well to create like this little frame and you can like put a bed underneath or a table or anything else that you can think of and I decided to make this room for um like a kid not like a yeah maybe not like a teenager but something in between toddler and teenager so for like a younger kid and um yeah that's pretty much what I built this for and I also built this like in this dollhouse room build style I still love it chill today I don't know I think it's such a cute um type of building you will see that I'm going to close the room later but then I didn't like it and I'm I deleted the walls again and created like this two wall doll house type build but I'm pretty sure you can add this to any of your house builds as well if you just put two walls on both sides and um yeah pretty much close the room up again and it will fit into any type of family home and as you can see I both like this little um sleeping area on the platform I think that's kind of cute I was also struggling with the room size a little bit and here you saw that I closed the room up because I thought I don't know I thought I would make a closed room but I think it has a very pretty and interesting lighting when you're when you delete the walls on the sides I don't know and I really like to edit this for my thumbnails as well and I think that looks really cool and I also created this really cool um Ikea inspired shelf probably from um with the with the Box shells that we get with the happy home no not happy home I've been playing way too much Animal Crossing lately um with the home decorator oh I really forgot the name of the pack with like the home decoration home designer game pack that we have I don't know the name I just I I forgot I wanted to say happy home Paradise but that's not what it is I've been playing a lot of Animal Crossing lately and I love to decorate houses there as well um yeah and I thought that would look really cool and a little bit like um I think it really reminds me of those IKEA style shelves that um you can use for a kid's room and that fits really well and um I also really like the carpet with like the cowl pattern on it I think it looks really cool I don't know it I think it just really fits the really neutral color scheme of the room but still like adds something to it I don't know how to say it but I think yeah it fits really well and as you can see I've been using a lot of like bright wood textures I think that's also really fitting with like the White and the blue color scheme as well so I hope you like it I really enjoyed um the building process it was a lot of fun I've been struggling a little bit as you will probably see in some of the video sections that I've I didn't really have an idea of the room layout at first because I don't know I still wanted to decorate it as like a full room but I also wanted it to look good from like the specific angle that you're looking on um from on the room if that makes sense so it was a little bit hard and I thought it would be a little weird to put the like to study desk like in the middle of the room but I also thought it would be cute like as a little bit of a separation thing to the play area that is behind it um where I place like a carpet behind I think that I don't know I think that works it was a little bit weird at first but I um yeah I kept it like this and I thought it might be something different something interesting I don't think you always have to put a table against the wall you can do whatever you want basically so I decided to keep it there and yeah I added a lot of decoration like some toys and all that kind of stuff shelves books everything that you need in like a kid's room um this little doll house from the Eco lifestyle pack I think it's really cute I love this so much I love to use it I don't I think it looks really like neutral and not too colorful crazy and I think that's
