hi everyone I'm Linda of Malaysian Chinese kitchen today I'm excited to show you my absolute favorite noodle dish curry laksa the process is a little bit more involved but I assure you is absolutely worth the effort because it's very delicious blend 5 shallots 3 cloves garlic 3 dried chilies 1 stop lemongrass and 1 and 1/2 inch ginger with quarter cup water until smooth mix blended ingredients with 1/2 cup curry powder to form a thick paste heat 1/3 cup vegetable oil in a large pot add spice space stir fry over medium heat until fragrant this should take approximately five minutes add two bone-in chicken breasts and cook for about three minutes pour in six cups water add three shredded and knotted pandan leaves cover and bring soup to a boil reduce heat and allow it to simmer for 20 minutes in the meantime bring a large pot of water to boil Skol 12 ounces bean sprouts for 20 seconds with a metal strainer add 6 ounces pre-soak rice vermicelli and cook for 2 minutes remove with a metal strainer you cook 12 also straight yellow noodles as well packaging instructions it should take about three to five minutes if you are using fresh noodles skull for two to three minutes again remove with a metal strainer chicken breasts are now cooked remove with a pair of towels and allow them to cool lower it all says Phil trims into curry soup with a metal strainer cook for three to four minutes until shrimps call and turn pink remove and set a site poor in-home care about 14 ounces cooker here add 4 ounces sliced deep-fried tofu past season with salt bring soup back up to a boil and allow coconut milk to hit true turn off stove shred chicken meat and discard the bones place a portion of mundos bean sprouts shredded chicken and a few shrimps in a bowl pour curry soup over noodles and vegetables garnish with julienne cucumber and mint leaves serve with fried chili paste and lime wedges time to dig into this delicious spicy and creamy carrot noodle soup do give it a try recipe for homemade fried chili paste will be coming up next on this channel please leave your comments below and remember to subscribe for future recipe updates see you in the next video and as always happy cooking and thank you for watching
