hey guys welcome to my channel I'm ananya if you're new here please subscribe so as you can see I'm on campus right now and this is probably the most requested video by Class 12 students today I'll be talking to the first year students of srcc and talk to them about cuit their experience for their CVT score was and basically all the questions that you've asked me first year students will be answering that for you so yeah without further Ado let's get right into the video introduce yourself hi I am Raima and I'm currently pursuing economic honors here from srcc hi I'm pratiksha best and I'm studying bcom honors in srcc hi I'm asthan I'm also studying bcom honors at srcc hi guys my name is Ashna lidder and I am in the Shriram College of Commerce first year pursuing bcom honors hi guys my name is shubham palak and I'm pursuing become honest hi guys I'm ananya Grover I am coaching bcom honors from Freedom College of Commerce hi I'm Khushi rajdhan I'm currently pursuing bcom honors from srcc hi my name is rakshin and my 780. so what were the subjects you chose in security for become honors I had Commerce with PhD in my 11th and 12th so I gave Phi English as my language uh business studies economics and accounts because for honors you have to either take accounts or maths so I chose maths English and I had accounts economics and the GT the normal test okay so basically you give all the subjects yeah okay so I didn't apply for the general test just like to keep your options open yeah because the general test was a requirement in some of the courses nodding become honest but uh the other courses so just for that okay makes sense uh if you particularly have to pursue economic honors it's mandated for you to do economics and maths but apart from that I did I mean I took the test for accounts BST English and the general test as well so you applied for both bcom honors and yeah okay I had chemistry math economics GD and English okay so basically we're a science student in class 12. so what will actually require for uh the requirements were the same as the Commerce students the only downside to having science was you had the personal system was slightly favorable to students from different streams so you had to score a little higher other than that it was pretty much the same to score higher in the science stream science stream yeah okay but the algebra criteria was the same now before you hear what the first year students have to say about preparing for COD and their strategies I wanted to share something with you guys and as you know the first year students that you know practicing questions is very important now that CVT is happening for the second time there are a lot more resources available and doing multiple mock tests to get a hang of the paper pattern is extremely important and that's why I wanted to share with you guys oswal books NTA suit ug 10 mock test papers for the domain subjects and the language tests so you can get the mock test of all the subjects from accountancy business studies economics as well as English and this is the only book you need to Ace your cuet this is strictly based as per the latest notice by NTA you will be 100 exam ready with the latest solved papers of both slot 1 and Slot 2 of 2022. along with that there are also 10 more sample question papers with 50m6 cues and it also has ncrt based mcqs and in cuet is you will have complete concept Clarity with the smart answer key and the explanations and last but not the least you can also revise your Concepts using these books on the tip notes and revision mind maps so all in all I would highly recommend you guys to check all of their CVT books out they're really going to help you out of course I'll leave the link in the description so make sure you check them out and now let's see what the first years have to say and what was your preparation strategy so like did you prepare during your class 12 or did you study after the board exams so during my class 12 things weren't clear so I prepared mainly for boards because I thought they'd matter a lot so once I prepared a lot for both I kind of burnt out when cuet results like when the news of cot came but because I prepared really well for boards that really worked in my favor for COD okay so like my advice would probably be just do your ncrt do your board prep pretty well okay and that helps foreignt as well as both so I would say like since the 12th class started I think my major Focus was on ncrt like I started it thoroughly and uh I was very consistent so like yeah major Focus was on accounts and maths because for become honest they were picking the best of either and yeah just be thorough with the ncrt nothing comes beyond that okay so are you a singer ncrt was it for COD yeah for cue date was it I was planning to but there was a lot of uncertainty regarding CBT so I couldn't really prepare before the 12th board exam so I started after the board exams so do you think like two months two two and a half months were enough to prepare yeah I think it's uh enough I joined a coaching Center for CBD preparations and it's just a matter of four to five hours a day and you'll crack it yeah so it was basically that I started a crash course uh in the month of January so we had three to four months of preparation for that and yeah I practice I mean yeah ncrt is very very important so start practicing from ncrt then start doing the McQ books and be thorough with your Concepts since it was the same as boats preparing for boats throughout the year did get me to a pretty good place the last couple of months were just about making sure that I'm revising the concepts properly and practicing a lot of mocks and every day I used to give a couple of mocks okay and that should be good enough so you think mocks were like really helpful I think mocks would really helpful mocks and analyzing the mocks as much time as a gift uh doing the mocks you need to give absence if not more time analyzing the most like uh every day has to give a game at least one more two hours of the mock and at least two and a half hours so analyze them all can look at the questions that are done wrong and the advisor Concepts okay makes sense makes sense so honestly during my class 12th I was just doing the basic ncit because all of it was very uncertain that what will happen I did enroll myself into this specific course for the GT thing but I trust me didn't help okay so all right I didn't purpose so I did not do anything between my boards but after that we had like two months for that facility so I did for like one and a half months YouTube videos and stuff like that so I was like kind of scared um see you for that but uh no it was not that difficult I mean you just need to be thorough with ncrt main like ncert and I did purchase those McQ books yeah which were there for us because it is very new for us and what's one advice you would like to give us easy aspirants do not take stress srcc will be easy Once you are thorough with your Concepts once you practice a lot so one advice that I'd like to give is practice a lot for maths and accounts because the time that you have is also less per question so increase your speed and practice more that's it the one advice is just to be regular and not crib on the last day everything is there in your mind and it comes out when you're appearing for the examination yeah that's true consistently is key be consistent and do not take too much pressure and do not overdo things but yeah look study for like uh like an average for six hours a day when exam are near and two hours would do on daily basis I think one CS advisory just don't go crazy over Sr there are a lot of other things you can do in life as well it's not just one college which will determine your entire uh future but yeah it's such a very nice place we get in of course uh we'll see on campus next year but even other than that don't just make it your entire life there are a lot of other options as well a lot of other good qualities you can get into buy cut as well and give it a best shot that's it you need to be thorough with the ncrd yoga I think that is what I did so it works for me I hope it works for you too all the best just put your 2 000 person and remember it's not a marathon it's a strange so whatever time's left just starts from there on and put something every day so that you can just cover up srcc aspirins once you enter this college there's a lot happening and studies is like the least uh active thing in this college so try to build up your uh ECA try to build up your personality I didn't take a lot of stress I didn't take any stress at all because if you're confident in your board prep you'd probably do well in your CVT uh when you enter srcc you will know ananya Gupta is balance is the key like you do everything but you study and you don't do anything at the cost of your studies so just maintain balance and okay that's great okay now that we've spoken to so many first year students I'm pretty sure to marry your doubts they were coffee clearer and I really hope that this video helped you guys out of course if you have any more doubts feel free to leave them in the comments and I'll answer them for you guys and yes you made it till here comment these Emoji
