CS2 HOW TO COMPILE LOW END HARDWARE NON RTX CARDS

what is up everyone the gregster 101 here and in today's video we're going to be talking about how to compile your Counter-Strike 2 maps on Low End Hardware so if you've got a low end computer like myself and you're unable to compile for some reason you'll notice in bait lighting there isn't any extra options here which enable us to compile and if we try and compile we are just met with an error so in order to fix this so you can actually compile a source 2 map and low in Hardware you need to download the hammer.zip file which contains a hammer.dll file then you need to browse to your logo to see program files steam steam apps common countertop Global Offensive game then bin win 64 tools and in here you should find the hammer.dll file so what you need to do now is either delete it or rename it you can always get this back by verifying uh game files so now I'm overwriting the hammer.drl file with the modified one which you will find in the description of this video now I'm going to boot up the tools and if you're wondering how you can get to the tools in can strike 2 you have to go into other options and then there's one of the options is download tools and then it will download the tools so that is a little bit confusing but once you get around it it's not too bad so here we are we've opened up the source 2 Hammer editor after patching the dll file here is my first um bomb diffusal map it's very basic very blocky not too pleased with it but it was just a quick test and you'll notice now I can select CPU only and it says to depreciated which means it's not going to be working in future updates so you will have to keep an eye out for another updated dll file if this gets updated so you have to give it quite a long time to compile one of the downsides but eventually it will and you'll notice I'm in the lab in the level all loaded up and uh I even added some buy zones in so I'm able to buy some grenades so I hope this video helps if you're trying to compile on learning hardware and unable to at least with this dll file you are able to get the map compiled so you're able to get some sort of creative Works done so hope you've enjoyed this video and I'll see you in the next one goodbye
