Crispy French Fries At Home | With Cheese Sauce

So excited to see you here๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑ I’m sharing this crispy homemade french fries with you So that you can enjoy them when watching a movie or hanging out with friends during this Christmas break Start with peeling 700g potato Cut the six sides off so that the potato is like a cube Then it would be easier to cut into strings later Then soak the potato in the water for 30 minutes This step is to rinse the starch off It’s the secret to crisp texture of the fries Because it prevents the potato from turning brown before it is cooked This is also useful for baking or roasting potatoes Boil some water add 2g salt to the water And put the potato strings in when the water is bubbling And boil the potato for 5 minutes before taking it out Then dry the potato strings with kitchen towel After that Fully cover every side of the potato strings with either 20g cornstarch or potato starch Preheat the vegetable oil to 180°C/356°F with medium high heat Then carefully and slowly put the potato strings in Keep stirring them so they won't stick together Deep fry them for 3 minutes Take out and let them cool down Meanwhile, let’s cook some cheese sauce Turn on low heat 20g butter 5g flour 100ml milk 4 pieces of cheese Some black pepper 10g sugar Remember to keep stirring so it won’t burn the pan Let’s start the second fry 180°C/356°F with medium high heat The second fry gives you an amazing crunch!
